        Directors create performance works in play is to deliver actual meaning in the work through dramatic atmosphere to audiences. For communication with audiences based on emotional stimulation, theatre directors are trying to develop innovative methods through dissolving script, environment and visual images. When such verbal factors disappear and significances decrease, the preference of director make visual, auditory, olfactory and tactual delivery as significant expression method and now developing the actors' playing through experiment. In play, in order to understand how sense of smell, taste and touching utilized as expression method as creative symbol in directing to communicate with audiences, this study examined cases of acting training using olfactoral, taste and tactile as it seems its significance is on training of actor for creation of acting. As for the acting training cases utilizing sense of olfactoral, taste an,d tactile the study examined training method for each of the senses such as extensive olfactoral training and olfactoral detecting training; extensive taste training, taste training, smelling and taste training; different tactile for 3 different materials training, tactile memory training, tactile with blindfolds training, and contact training through room and practice room. Such process of examination well explained the significance in new type of creative symbol expression method in theatre directing along with its significance.

      • 연극제작과정에서 희곡분석의 첫인상 정리에 관한 연구

        Theater production is a complex process where many artists such as the director, actors and staff participate to identify the potential of the play and communicate it to the audience. In order to do so, an analysis of the play is required to understand the composition and meaning of the play and elicit audience participation. The first step in reading and analyzing a play consists of a first impression through the first read. First impressions refer to reading the play repeatedly until one can envision the play into what it would look like on stage. In the first reading stage, all those who are involved in the production of the play take part to analyze the play and therefore a specific first-reading method is required. Among first-reading methods are one that takes on the perspective of the director, one that takes on the perspective of the actor and the more general method for the director, actors and staff. In order to understand the first-reading methods in practicing the production of a play, a survey was conducted on those who participated in the production of the play Seagull by the department of Theatre at Cheongju University. The method of compiling first impressions was reviewed on the method using an approach from the perspective of production, a method with the more general perspective of a director, of an actor and of the general staff, and the methods used in the case of Seagull. In particular, the study served as a good opportunity to verify how the method of first impression compilation was understood and applied in the production of theatre at universities. The study confirmed that the compilation of first impressions, which is the first step in analyzing a play, has great significance in envisioning and implementing the play, which was evidenced in the case study of Seagull.

      • 폭풍발생에 따른 해안단면변화에 관한 수치해석

        폭풍발생에 다른 해안단면의 변화를 예측하는 것은 해안선 변화에 대한 종합적인 대책을 수립하는데 있어 중요한 역할을 한다. 해안단면변화는 주로 해빈의 유사이송에 에 의해 발생되나, 유사이송은 유사의 입경, 수면상승높이, 쇄파고 등 많은 요소들에 의해 복합적으로 작용하기 때문에 현재에도 정확한 예측이 어려운 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 해안단면에서의 평형에너지소산개념을 수치모델에 도입하여 폭풍발생에 따른 안층방향의 해안단면변화와 해빈침식에 대하여 분석하여 보았다. 안층방향의 해안단면변화와 해빈침식은 평형단면 파라미터, 유사이송률 파라미터, 수면상승높이에 의해 크게 영향을 받음을 알 수 있다. A numerical model is applied for predicting variation of the beach profile and beach erosion during storms. Equation of sediment continuity and dynamic equation, governing on-offshore sediment transport due to a disequilibrium of wave energy dissipation, are used in the model. During a storm, the beach profile evolves to a form where the depth at the surf zone is related to the distance seaward of the waterline. In general, variation of the beach profile is found to be sensitive to the equilibrium profile parameter, the sediment transport rate parameter and the elevated water level. Also, the model response characteristics in the simulation of beach erosion show a lag between the maximum storm surge elevation and the maximum erosion.

      • 연극연출의 연기창조를 위한 가면훈련 방법 연구

        To coach the skillful actors and actresses, theatre directors should know about acting. This is because the knowledge on ‘acting’ is main part of directing to be expressed as intangible arts together with diversity of contemporary theatre. Directing uses acting skills to lead the characters in the theatre into the life in the reality. This is because it can provide the actors and actresses with more accurate options that they require to express the theatre interestingly. Objective technical issues for directors to assist the actors’ acting creation are diverse as the types of actors in the theatre. With respect to the characteristics of works, process of exercise, or atmosphere, the methods can be varied by actors, characters of director, and its environment. There are multiple training methods to assist acting creation, but the training method using a variety of masks in the theatre plays an important role to create acting. In this study, cases of mask training for directors to assist actors’ acting creation were reviewed including the training method of character experiences using masks, the training method to use the physical characteristics of the masks, the training method of social masks, the training method of neutral masks, and the training method of mask games. Actors can find the human nature and expand it upon recognizing their bodies and sounds by masks. Therefore, masks are one of the tools to liberate the actors’ suppressed egos and to make them enable the liberal expression. It is the case that it is very effective for directors to coach the actors with mask training to assist their acting creation so as to be able to express a variety of movements and all the emotions including joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure.

      • 粘性土地盤의 N値와 土質特性과의 相關性

        지반조사에서는 원위치시험으로는 표준관입시험, 정적콘관입시험, 동적콘관입시험, 스웨덴 식사운딩시험, 베인시험 등이 실시되고 있다. 특히, 이들 가운데 표준관입시험은 간편하면서도 유용한 원위치시험으로 가장 널리 이용되어져 오고 있다. 표준관입시험으로부터 얻어진 N치는 지반의 지지력, 침하량, 점착력, 내부마찰각, 상대밀도, 변형계수 등 다양한 해석정보를 얻는데 활용되고 있으나, N치의 지반특성과의 관계의 상관성에 대하여 아직 명확히 조사되어있지 않은 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 점성토지반에서의 표준관입시험에 의한 N치와 지반특성의 상관성을 규명하여 보고자 우리나라 서남해안지역의 연약한 점성토 및 내륙지역의 견고한 점성토에 대한 현장지반조사 및 실내시험 자료를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 결국, Atterberg한계, 자연함수비, 습윤 및 건조밀도, 일축압축강도와 압축지수 등과 같은 물리적, 역학적 특성의 예측에 이용될 수 있을 것이다. In soil investigations, in situ tests, such as standard penetration test, static cone penetration test, dutch cone penetration test, Swedish sounding test, vane test, etc, are performed as a part of main investigation. Especially, standard penetration test is most widely used as useful test in situ. N-value from the standard penetration test could give a numerous interpretation such as judgement of ground bearing capacity, settlements, cohesion, internal friction angle, relative density, modulus of deformation, etc. Nevertheless, in some respect to clear the correlations between N-value and soil properties are not enough yet. In this study, in order to find the correlations between N-value and soil properties in cohesive soils, the soil test data have been analyzed. The data was given by both the field soil investigation and laboratory test performed on soft clay in west and south coasts and stiff clay of inland areas in Korea. The results of this study might be available to predict some soil properties, such as the Atterberg limit, natural water content, wet and dry densities, unconfined compression strength and compression index, by use of the standard penetration test results in fields.

      • Carbon Black이 시멘트 Paste 및 Mortar의 물리적 특성에 미치는 영향

        This study was performed to determine the most desirable carbon black and it's content in ordinary porland cement for the increase of physical properties of the cement and mortar. The various contents of carbon black were used for this study such as 0.2wt%, 0.5wt%, 1.0wt% and 3.0wt%. The different particle size and structure of carbon black were used. The physical properties of the cement paste and mortar were tested by KS methods. The experimental results are as follow; 1) The contents of 0.5-1.0wt% carbon blacks in cement increased most apparently the setting time of cement paste, flow value, compressive and flexural strengths of mortar, whereas decreased the water absorption ratio of mortar by about 10%. 2) SNP and D company's carbon black which have smaller numbers of I₂adsorption and DBP absorption and heavier pour density than those of others showed to be the most effective carbon blacks. 3) The soundness of cements remained unchanged regardless to the different kinds and contents of carbon blacks.

      • Web을 활용한 원격제어ㆍ감시 및 원격검침 LonWorks 시스템 구축에 관한 연구

        This paper proposes the new concept & design method and implementation of LonWorks network system for remote monitoring & control and telemetry using Web network. LonWorks network system for telemetry & remote monitoring and control is designed and fabricated. As a result, it is verified that LonWorks is open, interoperable, reliable network system from the experimental results, especially, it seamlessly links the data and control networks, allowing the IP network to be treated as an extension of the LonWorks networks, and vice versa.
