      • LD의 DFM 특성을 이용한 광 BFSK 송신기 설계

        In this paper, the method to realize the coherent/heterodyne optical BFSK(Binary Frequency Shift Keying) transmitter is suggested by using the DFM(Direct Frequency Modulation) characteristics of LD(Laser Diode). DFM characteristics of LD are measured with in the 10KHz-100MHz by F-P(Fabry-Perot) interferometer. The optimized equalizers that can make the LD's DFM transfer function uniform were designed by use of a simple passive network. The BFSK transmitter consists of temperature stabilized laser diode and optimally designed equalizer. It is modulated by 100Mbit/s PRBS(Pseudo Random Bit Sequence) generator to diagonosis of optical BFSK transmitters output characteristics. To evaluate the performance of the transmitter, the transmitted data and their pattern are compared with the received data and their eye pattern. As the results, the data transfer rate is more than 100Mbit/s.

      • 반도체 레이저의 직접변조특성에 대한 회로모델

        The influence of device circuit interactions on the dynamic response of a direct modulated semiconductor laser. can be evaluated using a circuit modeling approach. In this paper, small signal circuit models for IM and FM of semiconductor laser(HLP1400) are proposed and evaluated. Especially, we describe a new circuit modeling techniques for obtaining the small signal frequency modulation response, which includes the effect of the temperature and the carrier density in the active region. The simulation results with these models are compared with published experimental results of IM and FM in the range from DC to 3GHz, and show good agreements.

      • 半導體 레이저 다이오드의 位相雜音과 스펙트럼 線狀에 關한 硏究

        Phase noise phenomena in semiconductor lasers is of primary importance when employing these devices as sources in cherent/heterodyne optical communication systems. This kind of noise is responsible for the source spectrum linewidth in single mode semiconductor lasers. In Section Ⅱand Ⅲ, we calculate <Δφ²(t)> due to spontaneous emission and explain and derive the spectral linewidth in semiconductor lasers. In Section Ⅳ and Ⅴ, we relate the power spectrum of the laser to <Δφ²(t)> and present the results. In conclusion, the linewidth and line shape of the semiconductor laser power spectrum can be estimated.

      • VLSI의 收率增大를 위한 PMOS IC 프로세스 진단에 관한 연구

        In this paper, the PMOS IC process check through various fabrication processes were dicussed. The Si water used process was estimated by the surface cleanness and bulk crystalline properties. For the photolihography process and photomask fabrication, the process cleanness was estimated. The control technology of process parameters from process cleanness in oxidation, CVD(chemical vapor diposition), diffusion and Al evaporation process was described. To estimate synthetically the process, the MOS and planar diode and PMOS transistor array were fabricated, and then the maximun yield of IC was assumed by the minimum number of bad transistor and diode.

        Ductile coupled flexural wall is the primary seismic load resisting system of buildings. In these systems, connections are generally headed stud bolt connection. The purpose of experimental study is to evaluate the seismic behavior of these connection under cyclic loading. A comprehensive experimental test involving 4 specimens has been performed and this program is used to study the effect of value of moment and edge distance. Through experimental test, the seismic behavior of typical headed stud bolt connections was established.

      • Noncommensurate line을 이용한 Microstrip elliptic function bandstop filter에 관한 연구

        In realizing a elliptic function filter, the procedure of a resonant type filter using the λ/8 commensurate line was formerly reported. In this paper, the author tries another method, that is, "non-commensurate line filter synthesis", which is the approximation method of a resonant type-filter. The result shows a satisfactory characteristics of elliptic function the edge skirt of which rises up very sharply. Center frequency of a bandstop filter is a 2.1 GHz, B.W. is 8%, and minimum attenuation shows 25 dB.

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors related to the occurrence of the low back disorder in the workplace, and to establish an appropriate intervention. As a method of study, research on actual state of back pain among workers of P manufacturing company was carried out. Data from the research was analyzed. For human engineering analysis, the form, the content and the frequency of work was surveyed. The result of this study, which contains the research on the actual state of back pain and the precise on the work process, could be used to reduce the low back disorder.

      • 필기체 문자 인식을 위한 신경회로 시뮬레이션

        This paper proposed a neural computer architecture for the learning of character pattern recognition categories. The architecture of self-organizations and self-stabilizations is recognition codes in response to arbitrary orderings of many and complex binary input patterns. Top-down attentional and matching mechanisms are critical in self-stabilizing of the code learning process. The architecture embodies a parallel search scheme which update itself adaptively as the learning process unfolds. After learning self-stabilizes, the search process in automatically disengaged. Thereafter input patterns have directly access to their recognition codes without any search. Thus recognition time does not grow as a funtion of code complexity. A novel input pattern can directly access a category if it shares invariant properties with the set of familiar exemplars of that category in the form of learned critical feature patterns, or prototype. Attentional vigilance determines how fine the learned categories will be. If vigilance increases due to an environmental disconfirmation, then the system automatically searches for and learns finer recognition categories. The simulation of this system shows satisfied result in the recognition of the hand written character of hangul.

      • 자율적 테스트를 위한 VLSI의 테스터블 설계

        In this pater, new design method for VLSI fault test are proposed by using built-in self test technique. The ordering algorithm for effective test pattern generation and the design method multi-input signature analysis for improving the fault detection capability are suggested. Also, a new multi-function BILBO(Built In Logic Block Observer) is sugested to reduce the hardware. By involbing the latch of sequential circuit into the BILBO, Built In Self Test can be executed effectively. The above proposed multifunctional BILBO was designed to operate both at a test pattern generator and a signature analyzer for reduction of the additional circuit and test time. Moreover, by using input and output line of multifunctional BILBO as a common, the external terminal are saved and the internal chip wiring can be done easily, and also the propagation delay of data signal is not ocurred. Through the implementation of test pattern generation and reordering and algorithm and multifunctional BILBO with C-language on the VAX 11/750(UNIX) computer, the efficienty of algorithm and the availability of designed method are verified.
