      • 기업구조조정에 대한 인식과 '생존자'의 직무태도

        이 글은 지난 경제위기 이후 한국사회의 주요 담론으로 부상하고 있는 기업구조조정에 대한 단면적 연구이다. 즉, 정리해고에 의한 기업구조조정이 생존자들의 직무태도에 어떠한 영향를 주고 있는지를 통계적 검증을 통해 알아보고, 몇 가지 함의를 던지고 있다. 기존의 논의가 주로 구조조정에 대한 거시적 차원의 정치경제적 변화에 치중하고 있는 반면 이 글은 미시적 차원에서 조직성원들의 심리적 충격 등을 조사하고 있다. 또한 기존의 연구들이 구조조정으로부터 해고당한 실직자들의 생활에 초점을 두고 있는 반면 이 글은 기업구조조정으로부터 살아남은 생존자들의 반응에 주목하고 있다. 기업구조조정 이후 가장 큰 관심은 고용불안정이며, 이러한 고용불안정은 생존자들의 직무태도에 부정적 영향을 주고 있는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 한편 구조조정의 공정성 인식(보상과 절차의 정당성) 역시 직무태도에 영향을 주고 있다. 본 연구의 결과가 암시하는 점은 구조조정이 생존자들의 삶의 질에 부정적 영향을 미치는 결과를 얻는다면 정리해고에 의한 기업구조조정이 장기적으로 보았을 때 조직의 생산성을 높일 것인가에 대한 회의와 함께 구조조정의 당위성에 대한 인식의 전환이 요구된다는 것이다. 만약 구조조정의 필연성이 도래했을 경우 정리해고에 의한 구조조정은 조직 성원들의 합의에 기초한, 보다 신중한 과정을 거쳐 이루어져야 하며, 부정적 결과들을 상쇄할 다양한 사회적 장치가 요구된다. In this paper, we have dealt with the lay-off survivor's job attitude; how the perception on job security influence job attitude i.e. job satisfaction, job commitment, and conflict among organization members. After economic crisis in 1997, the discourses about restructuring based on layoff have flourished in not only academia world but also in political decision -making fields. While the majority of previous works on layoff have paid attention to the restructuring process in terms of macro -level such as reshape of political economic structure, relational change among labor union-company-government(no-sa-jeong), flexibility of labor market. etc., the study at micro level like socio-psychological impact of layoff on survivor has been hardly found. The results of this study indicate that the perception on job security and the fairness of layoff procedure have greatly influenced the job attitude. In the light of this result, we urge the shift of pre-exiting paradigm which layoff is inevitable for promoting the organizational efficiency by reducing the labor cost.

      • 음성의 묵음구간 검출을 통한 DTW의 성능개선에 관한 연구

        Speaker recognition is the technology that confirms the identification of speaker by using the characteristic of speech. Such technique is classified into speaker identification and speaker verification; The first method discriminates the speaker from the preregistered group and recognize the word, the second verifies the speaker who claims the identification. This method that extracts the information of speaker from the speech and confirms the individual identification becomes one of the most efficient technology as the service via telephone network is popularized. Some problems, however, must be solved for the real application as follows; The first thing is concerning that the safe method is necessary to reject the imposter because the recognition is not performed for the only preregistered customer. The second thing is about the fact that the characteristic of speech is changed as time goes by, So this fact causes the severe degradation of recognition rate and the inconvenience of users as the number of times to utter the text increases. The last thing is relating to the fact that the common characteristic among speakers causes the wrong recognition result. The silence parts being included the center of speech cause that identification rate is decreased. In this paper, to make improvement, We proposed identification rate can be improved by removing silence part before processing identification algorithm. The methods detecting speech area are zero crossing rate, energy of signal detect end point and starting point of the speech and process DTW algorithm by using two methods in this paper. As a result, the proposed method is obtained about 3% of improved recognition rate compare with the conventional methods.

        효모 세포벽 분해효소 생산균의 탐색 및 효소생산 최적조건의 조사

        담자효모 세포벽을 분해하는 효소 생산균의 탐색을 위하여 50여 토양시료와 방선균 1000여개의 미생물을 가지고 3차에 걸친 탐색작업을 실시한 결과 1차적으로 autolysed washed yeast 배지 위에서 투명한 생성크기로 493개 균주를 선발하였으며, 이 균주들을 2차적으로 생효모 한천배지 위에서의 투명한 생성 크기로 117개 균주를 선발 하였다. 선발된 균주들을 가지고 용해활성도의 측정방법을 이용하여 최종적으로 St-1702 균주가 선발되었고, St-1702 균주는 동정 실험결과 잠정적으로 Streptomyces eurythermus 또는 그 유연균으로 동정되어졌다. St-1702 균주를 이용하여 효소생산 최적조건을 조사한 결과 최적배지 및 배양조건은 다음과 같았다 : freeze dried yeast 2% glucose 1%, K_2HPO_4 1%, MgSO_4·7H_2O, 1% peptone 0.5% (NH_4)_2CO_3 0.2% 초기 pH 값 7.0의 배지 및 30℃에서 3일간 배양. 최적배지에서 선발균주를 배양한 배양액을 이용하여 담자효모들의 원형질체 형성 실험을 한 결과 시중에서 구입된 효모 세포벽 분해 효소들보다 더 높은 원형질체 형성률을 보여 주었다. Thousand actinomycetes and 50 soil samples were used for the isolation of microorganisms producing yeast cell wall lytic enzymes. Among 493 strains producing large clear zones on autolysed washed yeast (AWY), 117 strains were selected on living yeast cell agar plates. With the method of lytic activity, one strain (St-1702) was selected, which was temporarily identified as Streptomyces eurythermus. The optimal condition for enzyme production of this strain was partially determined as follows: incubation of the strain for 3 days at 30℃ in the medium containing 2% freeze dried yeast cell, 1% glucose, 1% K_2HPO_4, 0.01% MgSO_4·^7H_2O, 0.5% peptone, and 0.2% (NH_4)_2CO_3 with pH 7.0. The protoplast formation of yeast by using the enzyme produced by this strain was compared with commercial enzymes.

        A Study on the Development of Traction Motor for Electric Railway: Insulation System Design & Performance Test

        In this paper, design considerations and manufacturing procedure of 200 class insulation system with polyimide(Kapton) main insulation and silicone resin VPI process on the traction motor thor EMU will be reviewed. The performance test and the long life evaluation test that prove stability and reliability of Insulation system for traction motor will also be introduced.

      • Oxidative Stress–Mediated Thrombospondin-2 Upregulation Impairs Bone Marrow–Derived Angiogenic Cell Function in Diabetes Mellitus

        <P><B>Objective—</B></P><P>Circulating angiogenic cells play an essential role in angiogenesis but are dysfunctional in diabetes mellitus characterized by excessive oxidative stress. We hypothesize that oxidative stress–mediated upregulation of thrombospondin-2 (TSP-2), a potent antiangiogenic protein, contributes to diabetic bone marrow–derived angiogenic cell (BMAC) dysfunction.</P><P><B>Approach and Results—</B></P><P>BMACs were isolated from adult male type 2 diabetic db/db mice and control db/+ (C57BLKS/J) mice. In Matrigel tube formation assay, angiogenic function was impaired in diabetic BMACs, accompanied by increased oxidative stress and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate oxidase activity. BMAC angiogenic function was restored by overexpression of dominant negative Rac1 or by overexpression of manganese superoxide dismutase. TSP-2 mRNA and protein were both significantly upregulated in diabetic BMACs, mediated by increased oxidative stress as shown by a decrease in TSP-2 level after overexpression of dominant negative Rac1 or manganese superoxide dismutase. Silencing TSP-2 by its small interfering RNA in diabetic BMACs improved BMAC function in tube formation, adhesion, and migration assays. Notably, the upregulation of TSP-2 was also found in BMACs from streptozotocin-induced type 1 diabetic mice, and normal BMACs with high glucose treatment. let-7f, a microRNA which has been related to endothelial angiogenic function, is found to play key role in TSP-2 increase, but let-7f did not directly interact with TSP-2 mRNA.</P><P><B>Conclusions—</B></P><P>The upregulation of TSP-2 mediated by increased oxidative stress contributes to angiogenesis dysfunction in diabetic BMACs.</P>

      • From boot camp to bu-bu? IT surveillance, patriarchal familism, and labor control: a South Korean case study

        <P> Information technology capable of real-time evaluation has changed the nature of labor control by completely monitoring a system. This homeostasis of real-time control eliminating the space barrier has increased workers' stress and anxiety and weakened the workers' solidarity. An IT surveillance system, frequently called an electronic panopticon, has been viewed as the sophisticated form of the Talyor principle of scientific management. However, IT surveillance has operated in the way of combined form with the cultural values of a certain society. In this paper, I show how cultural values influence labor control through IT surveillance using a case study from the tire industry. H tire company has introduced the DAS (Data Acquisition System) for increasing productivity through a new control system. Real-time evaluation, an instant report of each workers' merit on the monitor, and compensation have made workers feel constantly under surveillance and under stress due to competition with other workers. This IT surveillance has more deeply influenced labor control when combined with patriarchal familism - composed of features such as group-oriented attitudes, hierarchical relations between the old and young, subordination to one's seniors, etc, which have come to be viewed as some of the typical cultural values prevalent in South Korea. Although the basic principle of technology may be the same in all societies, the effects of applied information technology depend on specific socio-historical contexts: not only culture, habits, and politics, but also the power relations between managers and workers. I will tentatively designate this as a 'hybrid form' of labor control, in the sense that cultural value is added or intermingled with the principle of IT surveillance.</P>
