At the end of the Joseon Dynasty, Danyang was the important area for the movement of army that fought against the Japanese police and army. During the early movement, Jang Choong-sik and Jang Choong-sik who were father and son, Lee Wan-ha and others played major roles in the leadership of Hojwaeuijin. Especially, it could be seen in the area that Danyang militiaman troop turned into a combat troop. In late movement, Danyang became an important combat area where Lee Gangnyun, Kim Sang-tae, Lee Myung-sang who was the general of the army in Danyang, and Min Byung-pal who rose in rebellion with Lee Myung-sang were remarkable members. However, except some research about Lee Gang-nyun, even basic research has not been done yet because there has been no specific historical materials about others. Therefore, there is some necessity to push ahead the research based on Danyang area.

For this, there is a necessity for examining the following questions. What are the contents of the agricultural administration in this period? How does it reflect the changing agricultural conditions of this period and what is its limit? What is the effect of agriculture encouragement administration?

재무분석가 이익예측치의 정보유용성에 관한 연구

국내에서 이루어진 재무분석가의 이익 예측치의 예측정확성에 관한 연구는 재무분석가의 예측치가 시계열 모형의 예측치보다 예측의 정확성이 높다는 연구와 차이가 없다는 연구로 특징 지 울 수 있다. 이러한 상반된 연구결과는 표본의 수량 및 표본기간의 선정에서의 편의 그리고 재무분석가의 대표성에서 그 원인을 찾을 수 있다. 따라서, 본 연구는 최근의 자료(1996-1998)를 중심으로 표본을 선정하고 개선된 연구설계에 의하여 이익 예측시점을 통제한 상태에서 다수 재무분석가의 예측치를 이용하여 재무분석가와 시계열 모형 그리고 재무분석가간의 상대적 예측 정확성을 검증하고 시장기대이익의 적절한 대용치의 선정에 유용한 지표를 제공하는데 있다. 분석 결과 첫째, 재무분석가는 과대 예측하는 경향이 있다. 둘째, 재무분석가간(대우증권, 쌍용증권, 동원증권, LG증권) 그리고 재무분석가와 RW 모형간 예측 정확성을 검증한 결과 유의한 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 셋째, 재무분석가의 예측치는 결산 월에 가까워 질 수록 예측의 정확성이 높아졌다

Background: Paraquat is a bipyridyl compound, and when ingested, concentrated paraquat can cause either rapid death from multisystem failure and cardiovascular shock or delayed death from progressive pulmonary fibrosis. Paraquat is poorly absorbed by inhalation, but when ingested orally, severe illness can occur. Death usually occurs within 2 days if more than 50 ㎎/㎏ of paraquat is ingested . The most important prognostic indicator is the quantity of paraquat absorbed, as shown by the plasma paraquat concentration, and the prognostic indication depends mostly on the description given by the patients and their families about the amount of paraquat ingested, which is often underestimated or overestimagted. For these reasons, we tried to compare the plasma paraquat concentrations with amount of paraquat described by patients or their families. Methods: We reviewed the medical records of 59 patients with acute paraquat poisoning from February 1998 through February 1999, the paraquat concentrations in plasma were measured at Presbyterian Medical Center by using high performance liquid chromatography. Results: There was a striking discrepancy between the plasma paraquat concentration and the ingested amount described by the patients or their families. Conclusion: We recommend that the plasma paraquat concentration be measured in patients being treated for acute paraquat poisoning.

이 글은 환경 쿠즈넷 곡선에 관한 논의가 주로 경제성장과 환경오염 사이의 직접적인 연관성만을 검토하는 것을 비판하고 두 변수 사이의 매개변수로서 환경의식, 환경운동, 환경정책 등을 거시적으로 분석하는 것을 목표로 한다. 아울러 한편으로 쿠즈넷 곡선이론이 갖고 있는 기술낙관론과 다른 한편으로 지속가능한 자본주의를 부정하는 생태맑스주의를 비판적으로 검토한다. 한국의 급속한 경제성장은 환경의 악화를 낳고 동시에 물질적 풍요를 가져다 주어 환경에 대한 공중의 욕구를 증가시켰다. 경제성장과 환경질의 관계를 볼 때, 이산화항 오염도와 같은 일부 오염지표는 경제성장과 함께 개선되었으나 환경 악화는 여전히 심각하다. 이러한 환경문제를 해결하기 위해 정부는 환경정책을 발전시켜왔다. 한국의 환경정책은 여전히 분절적이고, 매체중심적이며 사후 관리 중심이지만, 비교적 빠른 시간 내에 오염자부담 원칙을 확립했고 예방중심, 통합환경관리 중심으로 전환하고 있다. 이러한 정책 전환이 이루어진 원인으로는 1990년대 국민 환경의식과 환경운동의 극적인 발전을 들 수 있다. 경제 성장과 환경질 사이의 관계를 분석하기 위해서는 그 나라의 환경문제의 사회적 형성 과정을 분하는 것이 중요하다.

Tool Design and Experimental Verification for Multi- Stage Cold Forging Process of the Outer Race

The outer race of constant velocity joints with six inner ball grooves has conventionally been produced using a multi-stage warm forging process, which consists of 9 operations such as billet cutting, forward extrusion, upsetting, backward extrusions, necking, ironing, sizing, and machining. In this study, a multi-stage cold forging process derived from process assessment to replace the traditional warm forging is presented. Detaily, both backward extrusions of the conventional one are redesigned as one operation, and the necking, ironing and sizing are combined into a single necking-ironing-sizing process, thus the proposed cold forging consists of 6 operations. To solve the tool interference in the combined necking-ironing-sizing process, and to facilitate extraction of the forged workpiece from the die cavity, a solid groove punch for shaping the inner ball grooves is redesigned with six-segmentalized grooving knives. Numerical simulation of each sequence is performed to ensure the appropriateness of the suggested process, and the structural integrity is also evaluated. Experimental investigations are carried out using SCr420H billet material. It is shown that this multi-stage cold forging process could be applied to the mass production of the outer race, with the dimensional variation of under 2.0% between the required and the forged geometries.

THE STRUCTURAL CHANGE OF THE KOREAN ENVIRONMENTAL MOVEMENT

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the characteristics of the structural change of the Korean environmental movement. At the end of the 1980s, the Korean environmental movement showed the following characteristics: First, the major actors changed from the victims of environmental pollution and the activists of the nationalist-democratic movements to the activists of the citizens' movements. Second, the interests of the participants moved from their own self-interest to more universal and global concerns. Third, in regard to the methods of resource mobilization, militant protest and demonstration were replaced by lobbying and appealing to public opinion. fourth, while leftist environmentalism declined, belief in active environmental management and ecological consciousness proliferated, fifth, the main issues diffused from the victims' right to public health, ecosystem preservation, and global environmental problem. Considering these new characteristics, the eco-Marxist interpretation of the environmental movement as a class-based or anti-capitalist movement is not correct. The issues, activists, interests, and ideologies of the New Environmental Movement in Korea are similar to the typical new social movements in Western Europe. But the methods of resource mobilization of the New Environmental Movement in Korea are different from those of the typical European new social movement, which is radical. Tlie New Environmental Movement in Korea adopts realistic strategies and actively participates in institutional politics.
