        For the purpose of identifying alternative conceptions in biology held by both elementary and secondary school students, an open-ended questionnaire in the six areas of biology was devised and administered to both 21 elementary school science teachers and 32 secondary biology teachers. Results have Shown that 65 and 183 items were introduced by elementary and secondary school teachers respectively Our findings will be useful to many researchers who have concerned about the issus of misconceptions in biology as well as many biology teachers who have had difficulties in biology teaching due to students' preconceptions.

        비정질 금속 ?? 거대자기임피턴스 효과를 측정하였다. 자기 임피턴스 효과는 강자성체 시료의 임피턴스가 시료에 걸어준 자기장에 따라서 달라지는 현상이다. MlR (Magnetoimpedance Ratios)는 ?? 정의되며 ? 시료방향으로 자기장을 가하여 임피턴스가 포화될 때의 자기장의 세기이다. 본 시료의 MIR 값은 적절한 자장중 열처리 후에 250 %이상 증가하였다. The giant magnetoimpedance (GMI) effect in amorphous ribbon ?? has been obtained. Magnetoimpedance (MI) effect is a high-frequency phenomenon, which describes the changes of impedance in any ferromagnetic sample, when a magnetic field is applied on it. MlR(Magnetoimpedance Ratios) is defined as ?? where ?? is the saturating field along the long side of the sample. The MIR of the sample has been reached as much as 250% after proper thermal treatments in a magnetic field.

        Symmetric key cryptography algorithms are continuous repeating process of transpose and transposition, and have four modes of CBC, ECB, CFB, and OFB according to the operation methodology. Also, the algorithms have a number of computation because final cryptography sentences in the algorithm are internally accomplished by the various round of repeating computation. In this paper, we propose the pipelined design methodology to accelerate the cryptography operation in the ECB mode of block cryptography algorithm. In the proposed method, we implemented cryptography operation block of many rounds and can extremely improve overall operational speed because the method is continuously executed. As the results of estimation after designing the cryptography chip by pipelened structure, several tens of improved performance in the case of 3DES is possible, but we have known the generating of disadvantage that the chip size is increased.

      • 高等學生들의 生態學的 誤槪念

        Since the research findings about ecological misconception of korean pupils have not represented until now, the primary purpose of this research was to identify high school students' misconceptions on ecology. At first, in order to find out high school students' misconceptions on ecology, a free-answer form of questionnaire, specially designed through analysis of high school biology curriculum, particularly ecological content, was developed and sent to ninety five high school students who had lived in Chungju area.Their responses were collected and analyzed qualitatively. As the results of the analysis of the data, the summary of this research are as follows: 1. High school students have remembered at the point of ecological terminology or simple knowledge than understood dynamic relations among ecosystem about ecology. These results were same with foreign pupils'. 2. They confused the output of plant respiration to oxygen. Especially, they recognized that invisible microorganisms, example for zoo plankton or fungi, didn't do gas exchange. 3. Although many students usually misundertood that bacteria is toxic organism, they thought correctly the bacteria in ecosystem as decomposer was not toxic. 4. There were several misconceptions arose from biological terminology such as red blooming, red algae and winter migratory birds.

        Productivity is an important factor for measuring project performance and related to the profitability of construction firms. Thus productivity measurement is critical to plan and assess project performance and should be able to reflect job process and context rather than outcomes from 'black box'. This research proposes a productivity measurement approach based on job cycle analysis and discusses findings from two case projects to which the proposed approach was applied.

      • 韓國 高等學生들의 生態學的 誤槪念

        The purpose of this research was to analyze Korean high school students' misconceptions on ecology. For this study, the questionnaire of multiple choice questions, consisted with 9 items on ecology, had been developed and administered to 541 high school students, including 243 science gifted students who had been attending science high school. According to the responses of the students, the general lower academic level students' group had more significantly misconceptions on ecology statistically, compared to higher academic level students' group. Among the general lower academic level students' group, there were not statistically significant differences between male and female students about the concepts of ecology, but between rural and urban students, there were statistically significant differences about the concepts. Rural students had more misunderstandings compared with urban students about the ecological concepts. Many of them had correct understandings on the environmental components of ecosystem. Especially, as to the concepts of winter migratory birds, red blooming, cooling water and eutrophication etc., it is proved that they had misconceptions caused by terminology according to the Korean pronunciation. In case of the concepts of energy flow and circulation of materials, they recalled simply rather than understood meaningfully.

      • 韓國 高等學生들의 生殖과 發生에 대한 誤槪念

        구성주의자들은 학생들이 수업전에 수업내용과 관련된 선입관을 가지고 있는데, 이 선입관중에 서도 당대의 과학적 지식과는 다른 개념들을 오개념(misconception)이라고 하였다. 또 이 오개념은 전통적인 수업방법에 의해서는 쉽사리 바뀌지 않는다고 하였다. 본 연구는 우리나라 고등학교 3학년 학생들이 보편적으로 생식과 발생에 대한 오개념을 가지고 있는지를 알아보기 위해 수행되었다. 선행연구로써 먼저 학생들이 가지고 있는 생식과 발생에 대한 오개념들을 생물교사와 학생들에게 자유응답형 질문지를 통하여 이미 조사하여, 본 연구를 위한 객관식 질문지를 만드는 자료로 이용하였다. 생식과 발생에 대한 학생들의 오개념을 알아보기 위해 특별히 제작된 질문지는 모두 10개 문항으로 구성되어 있으며, 연구대상으로 선정된 541명의 학생들은 대도시ㆍ중소도시ㆍ시골 지역별, 남ㆍ녀 성별, 일반ㆍ과학고 능력별로 유층표집하였다. 우리나라 고등학생들의 생식과 발생에 대한 오개념을 알아보기 위한 객관식 문항들을 분석한 결과, 시험관 아기가 수정되는 장소와 자라는 장소, 수정되지 않은 달걀의 부화와 달걀 세표, 수정란의 난할, 식물의 수정과 수분의 차이, 고등동물에서 암, 수의 성 결정 시기, 사람의 정자가 난자와 만나 수정이 이루어진 순간부터 아기가 태어나기까지 걸리는 시간, 생식과정에서 감수분열이 필요한 이유, 배낭과 배낭세포, 일란성 쌍생아의 수정원리 등에 대한 개념에서 오개념을 가진 학생들이 많이 나타났다. 정답률은 일반ㆍ과학 고등학생간에 유의한 차가 없었으며, 일반학생들의 성별, 지역별 차이도 없었다. In order to find out the Korean high school students' misconception about reproduction and development, a paper and pencil test form of the questionnaire was developed which was constructed of 10 items, and administered to 541 Korean high school students. Their responses were collected and analyzed. According to the analysis of their responses, students misunderstood the concepts of the fertilizing site and incubating region of human embryo, development of unfertilized egg, a location of cell in an egg, cleavage of fertilized egg, korean terminology about fertilization and pollination of plant, sex determination time of higher organisms, the period of pregnancy, significance of meiosis, an embryo sac and principle of fertilization of identical twins. For the students' conceptions about reproduction and development, the general lower academic level students didn't misunderstand statistically compared to higher level students' group significantly, and there was not the statistically significant difference for sex and residential locality.

        TERUDERMIS를 이용한 골 혹은 건이 노출된 창상의 치료

        Deep skin and soft tissue defects with exposed bone and tendon is difficult to treat, because skin graft rarely survives and flap surgery is sacrifice of donor site. Since "Stage I" membrane was developed by Yannas and Bruke in 1980, numerous kinds of artificial skin have been developed. The adaptability of "Terudermis", developed by the Terumo Co., as an artificial skin composed of sponge made of a fibrillar atelocollagen and a heat-denatured atelocollagen, was clinically evaluated on application to 13 cases presenting deep skin and soft tissue defect with exposed bones and tendons from October 1997 to march 1998. Terudermis has the advantage of allowing early incorporation of fibroblasts and capillaries into its collagen sponge due to very weak dehydrothermal cross-linking. Before Terudermis graft, several days of wet dressing and debridement were required to prepare healthy well- vascularized bed because Terudermis was weak on unsanitary wounds. After bed preparation, Terudermis was grafted like usual skin graft. Tie-over bolster dressing or compressive dressing was used case by case. The dressing was opened 2~3 days after Terudermis grafting. Wet dressing was done daily until the skin graft was done. Autologous skin graft was done 2∼3 weeks after Terudermis graft. Our clinical results indicated that Terudermis was beneficial in treating 77% of our patients. Through the use of this new method, treatment of severe skin and soft tissue defects that are usually treated by musculocutaneous or other conventional skin flaps can be replaced by Terudermis as an new artificial dermis.

      • 과학 성취도에 영향을 미치는 전두엽 연합령의 기능에 대한 종단적 연구

        The purpose of this study was to longitudinally analyze influences of functional prefrontal lobe on science achievement in middle school students. In this longitudinal study, 47 students(male 19, female 27) were sampled in local area. The students were administered test of GALT(group assessment of logical thinking), CTST(classroom test of scientific test), FIT(figural intersection test), GEFT(group embedded figural intersection test), TOL(tower of London), WCST(Wisconsin card sorting test) at December 1997 and 1999. It is substitute science achievement for science grade each year. The resulted that prefrontal lobe was influenced upon science achievement. Science achievement statistically significant correlated with functional prefrontal lobe, specially logical thinking level, scientific reasoning, perseveration error. And, the development of functional prefrontal lobe functions did not only linear, but also each function has differ with development speed and period. School science classroom was suited high level students. Who has been grade C and D in first-grade, they did not improved. A first-grade achievement effect on science achievement. And also scientific reasoning ability effect on science achievement.
