        The Effectiveness of Intercede Communication Methodologies on Language Skills: Case of EFL of Morocco

        이 연구는 최초의 우편 시스템의 발전에서 현재까지 인간의 일상생활의 모든 영역에 영향을 미치고 있다는 전제하에, 지속적으로 통신 방법론이 개발되고 그 사회적 요구를 충족시키고 있는 상황에서 상호통신 방법의 효과에 대한 탐구의 필요성을 확인하는 차원에서 시도하였다. 현대인들은 삶의 모든 면에서 문화적 방법론에 의존하는데, 21세기에 통신방법론은 그들이 쉽게 그것을 포기할 수 없는 요인이 되었다. 특히, 교육은 상호통신 방법론의 사용으로부터 혜택을 받는 분야 중 하나이다. 이 방법론은 "교육의 중요한 역할 중 하나는 다수 학생들을 위한 현장기회를 평준화 할 수 있는 능력"이라는 존 킹의 주장과 같이, 본 연구에서 주장하는 네 가지 기술로 학습을 변환하기 위한 강력한 도구를 개발할 필요가 크다. 모로코 EFL 과정에서 1) 학생들이 모바일 애플리케이션 및 YouTube와 같은 특정 학습도구를 사용하여 언어기술을 향상시키는 효과를 이 연구의 결과에서 확인하였다. 2) 학생과 교사는 기술을 통해 학습 효과를 개선할 수 있다. 3) 대부분의 학습자들은 교육기술에 의존하고 학습과정을 외부에서 도입이 가능하다는 점에서 상호통신 방법론의 적용을 긍정적으로 평가할 수 있다. This research explores the intercede communication methodologies have swept all areas of human daily life, from the invention of the first postal system to now, as it has developed and met its needs. People rely on cultural methodology in every aspect of life. It has become a necessity that they cannot give up on it easily. Education is one of the domains that benefit from the use of intercede communication methodologies. This methodology has different powerful tools for transforming learning in its four skills as John king informed that “One of the most important aspects in education is its ability to level the field opportunity for students.” -John King, U.S. Secretary of Education. That is to say, students and teachers can benefit from technology to develop learning. This can be seen in the findings of this research, in which EFL students use extensively certain tools such as mobile applications, laptops, and YouTube to enhance their speaking skills. Besides, most of them depend on technology in education and agree on the idea to use in school and outside it.

        The space BVα2 (I) of all the real functions defined on interval I = [a, b] ⊂ R, which are of bounded second α-variation (in the sense De la Vall´e Poussin) on I forms a Banach space. In this space we define an operator of substitution H generated by a function h : I × R → R, and prove, in particular, that if H maps BVα2 (I) into itself and is globally Lipschitz or uniformly continuous, then h is an affine function with respect to the second variable.

        FEM simulation of a full-scale loading-to-failure test of a corrugated steel culvert

        This paper utilizes 3D FEM to provide deeper insights about the structural behaviour of a 6.1 m span steel culvert, which was previously tested under extreme loading. The effect of different input parameters pertaining to the backfill soil has been investigated, where the structural response is compared to field measurements. The interface choice between the steel and soil materials was also studied. The results enabled to realize the major influence of the friction angle on the load effects. Moreover, the analyses showed some differences concerning the estimation of failure load, whereas reasons beyond this outcome were arguably presented and discussed.

      • Reversible Color and Gray-scale Based Images in Image Hiding Method Using Adding and Subtracting Operations

        A new reversible high capacity hiding algorithm using decomposition and simple arithmetic operations is proposed in this paper for hiding gray-scale and RGB images. Generally, the three factors that should be taken into account in hiding algorithms are the capacity, security, and invisibility of secret information. The Least Significant Bit method is a popular technique to hide operations in the spatial domain. A number of methods were proposed to enhance the performance of the Least Significant Bit method. However, the capacity and security levels of those algorithms are low. The target of the proposed algorithm is implementing hiding capacity about 75% (6 bits per pixel) to hide an image in another image of the same size and type. In this paper, we use an encrypted image as a cover image to reduce the effects of distortion. The bit planes that result from decomposing the secret image will be reordered and scrambled before the hiding operation to make it invisible. Also, the hiding operation is achieved by subtracting or adding numbers to the host pixel value based on the value of the secret pixel to increase the security level. Experimental results show that the capacity of the proposed method is perfect with a high quality of the extracted image, which is strong against many attackers.

        Evolution of Pb-Free and Partially Pb-Substituted Perovskite Absorbers for Efficient Perovskite Solar Cells

        Announced as one of the top 10 research breakthroughs in 2016, perovskite solar cells (PSC) have advanced rapidly as anestablished photovoltaic technology. The power conversion efficiency (PCE) of PSCs has increased quickly from 3.8% to23.7% within a period of just 7 years. This very high PCE has been achieved by using perovskite compounds with lead (Pb)as the divalent metal ion. However, for further scale-up and commercialization, the toxicity of Pb has been identified as oneof the key drawbacks for this technology. Numerous avenues for development of lead-free low-toxicity perovskite absorbershave been pursued. The unclear effect of using low-toxicity materials on optimal performance with suitable characteristics hasmotivated the writing of this review. Results from low-toxicity perovskite solar cells utilizing partial or complete substitutionof the Pb2+cation as the absorber layer are discussed in detail. Moreover, we discuss the limitations of low-toxicity absorbermaterials. This review summarizes the key points of film quality control, degradation effect, Pb replacement suitability, andphotovoltaic performance of reported low toxicity alternate perovskite absorbers for PSCs.

        Position of the mental foramen in a Moroccan population: A radiographic study

        Purpose: This study was performed to determine the position of the mental foramen relative to the apices of the teeth based on panoramic radiographs in a Moroccan population. We also analyzed gender differences and the symmetry of location within individuals. Materials and Methods: Seven hundred ninety-four panoramic radiographs were evaluated with regard to the location and symmetry of the mental foramina in male and female subjects. The results were analyzed using Pearson's ${\chi}^2$ and Fisher's exact test. Results: Of the 794 panoramic radiographs, 377 met the inclusion criteria for at least one side. The mental foramen was located just below the apex of the second premolar in 62.7% of the patients and between the first and second premolars in 30%. It was symmetrically located in 79%. No statistically significant differences were found between males and females in the position and symmetry of the mental foramen. Conclusion: The most common position for the mental foramen in this sample was in line with the second premolar.
