Vikram Indrajit Shah,Javahir A Pachore,Sachin Upadhyay,Pichai Suryanarayan 대한고관절학회 2022 Hip and Pelvis Vol.34 No.3
A 58-year-old-male patient presented with worsening pain and restricted movements of his right hip after undergoing multiple procedures for treatment of an inter-trochanteric fracture. Secondary arthrosis and an incorporated intramedullary fibular cortical bone graft which caused severe narrowing of the medullary canal were observed by imaging. Total hip arthroplasty (THA) using knee arthroscopic tools was performed for preparation of the severely narrowed femoral canal. A satisfactory clinical outcome was achieved and stable components were observed on radiographs at the 11-year follow-up. The technique described here may be considered when attempting to perform a conversion THA for preparation of a severely narrowed femoral canal using a fibular strut in order to minimize morbidity and prevent structural destabilization.
Speech induced task specific cranio-cervical tardive dystonia: An unusual phenomenology
Vikram Venkappayya Holla 대한파킨슨병및이상운동질환학회 2021 Journal Of Movement Disorders Vol.14 No.1
Dystonia is defined as sustained or intermittent muscle contractions causing abnormal, often repetitive, movements, postures, or both. Task-specific dystonia (TSD) encompasses a group of focal dystonias, affecting an isolated body part, predominantly laryngeal and hand muscles, and triggered by a specific and often skilled task. Frequently reported TSDs include laryngeal dystonia, writer’s cramp, musician’s dystonia, and occupational dystonia. Speech-induced dystonia often involves laryngeal and cranial muscles, with a speech-induced cervical TSD very rarely reported
Deep Brain Stimulation Battery Exhaustion during the COVID-19 Pandemic: Crisis within a Crisis

The novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic and public health measures to control it have resulted in unique challenges in the management of patients with deep brain stimulation (DBS). We report our experience with the management of acute worsening of symptoms due to battery exhaustion in 3 patients with DBS.
Infinite flocks of quadratic cones--II generalized Fisher flocks
Vikram Jha,Norman L. Johnson 대한수학회 2002 대한수학회지 Vol.39 No.4
This article discusses a new representation of the generalized Fisher flocksand shows that there is a unique flock for each full field K of odd orzero characteristic that has a full field quadratic extension. It is alsoshown that partial flock extensions of `critical linear subflocks' arecompletely determined.

In this study, we report a controlled one-pot green synthesis of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) via pyrolysis of sustainable agriculture waste (chickpea peel) at 400 °C in aqueous medium. These MWCNTs demonstrated 7.0 nm diameter, 0.28 nm graphitic spacing with carbonyl, hydroxyl, and carboxylic acid functionality. The D band (presence of sp3 defects) and G band ( E2g mode of graphite) at 1350 cm?1 and 1580 cm?1 originated in Raman spectrum, respectively. The prepared MWCNTs showed blue fluorescence with 10% fluorescence quantum yield in aqueous medium. The MWCNTs showed triple exponential decay characteristics with an average fluorescence lifetime of 4.7 ns. The synthesized MWCNTs revealed a consistent fluorescence in the cytoplasm of 22RV1 human prostate carcinoma cell line without exerting any sign of cytotoxicity. The MWCNTs also exhibited remarkable cytocompatibility in human immortalized prostate epithelial RWPE1 cells.

As consumer needs become more specialized and diversified, companies are expected to face up to fierce competition with the help of innovative ideas. the ever-intensifying competition required companies to cultivate new strategic tools in order to have new, powerful and sustainable comparatice advantages.
Critical Review of Current Trends in ASIC Writing and Layout Analysis
Vikram, Abhishek,Agarwal, Vineeta The Institute of Electronics and Information Engin 2016 Journal of semiconductor technology and science Vol.16 No.2
Electrical Designs for Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC) has undergone a change recently with the advent of the sub-wavelength lithography. The optical projection with 193 nm wavelength has been further extended with the use of immersion and other techniques. The competing trends for printing smaller design features have been discussed in this paper with the discussion of the electrical layout analysis to find unfriendly design features. The early knowledge of the unfriendly design features allows remedial actions in time for better yield on the wafer. There are existing standard design qualification criteria being used in the design and fabrication community, but they seem to be insufficient to guarantee defect free designs. This paper proposes an integrated approach for screening the layout with multiple aspects: layout geometry based, graphical analysis and process model based verification. The results have been discussed with few example design features from the 28nm design layout.

Purpose: These days laparoscopic inguinal hernia surgery, both totally extraperitoneal (TEP) and transabdominal preperitoneal (TAPP), is a commonly performed procedure due to advancements in laparoscopic instruments and the availability of skilled laparoscopic surgeons. The purpose of this study was to compare the perioperative complications of these two procedures. Methods: This was a prospective observational study between July 2019 and December 2020. Perioperative complications were compared with a 6-month follow-up. It included 144 patients, of whom 71 underwent TAPP repair and 73 underwent TEP repair. The selection was based on the surgeon’s choice. Results: Early postoperative complications were scrotal edema (12 cases in TEP and 16 in TAPP), urinary retention (one case in TEP), ecchymosis (six cases in TEP and two in TAPP), and scrotal subcutaneous emphysema (two cases in TEP). On follow-up, seroma was found in a total of 22 cases, of which 12 were TEP and 10 were TAPP. While only one case of TAPP developed surgical site infection. There was no statistically significant difference in hospital stay between the two groups (p = 0.58). The pain scores significantly decreased throughout recovery and were comparable between the groups. Neither group experienced a recurrence during the 6-month follow-up. Fifty-eight patients developed Clavien-Dindo grade I complications, one had grade II, and three had grade IIIa complications. Conclusion: With the increasing experience of the surgical fraternity in laparoscopic surgery, TEP and TAPP were proven to be comparable in terms of duration of surgery, postoperative complications, hospital stay, pain scores, and recurrence during the 6-month follow-up.

Isoniazid is an antitubercular drug that is an important part of the first-line treatment regimen for tuberculosis treatment and prophylaxis. Although hepatotoxicity is one of the common side effects of isoniazid, neurological complications such as encephalopathy, seizure, peripheral neuropathy, and occasional ataxia are not uncommon. Isoniazid-induced ataxia is often associated with bilateral dentate nucleus hyperintensity, with only a few reports of additional thalamic hyperintensity. We report a case of possible isoniazid toxicity-induced ataxia in a 23-year-old man in whom magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the brain showed bilateral thalamic hyperintensity along with the “face of the giant panda” sign.
