      • Properties of Soft Magnetic Composite with Evaporated MgO Insulation Coating for Low Iron Loss

        Innovative SMC with low iron loss was made from iron powders with evaporated MgO insulation coating. The coating had greater heat-resistance than conventional phosphatic insulation coating, which enabled stress relieving annealing at higher temperature. Magnetic properties of toroidal samples (OD35mm,ID25mm, t5) were examined. The iron loss at 50Hz for Bm = 1.5T was lower 50% of conventional SMC and was almost the same with silicon iron laminations(t0.35). It became clear that MgO insulation coating has enough heat resistance and adhesiveness to powdersurface to obtain innovative SMC with low iron loss.

        차세대 섬광 검출기 개발의 현황과 전망

        In the Collider Physics Laboratory of Kyungpook National University,ongoing study of next-generation scintillation detectors is extensive. In this year, as a part of the World Class University project, the scintillator laboratory is launching general R&D of scintillation detectors. The first goal of the laboratory is to establish a next-generation calorimeter for the International Linear Collider (ILC) experiment, which consists of small plastic scintillator strips and tungsten layers. So far, we have extensively studied the ILC scintillator strip electromagnetic calorimeter (ScECAL) in a worldwide collaboration. The fabrication of and a series of tests on the prototype ScECAL have been done during the last 3 years, and the results show promising performance of the ScECAL. We will perform further tests on and pursue further improvements of the scintillator strips for the ILC calorimeter. The laboratory is also capable of performing general studies on scintillation detectors for various purposes. Applications of scintillation detectors in other fields, like medical PET detector systems, are also in our scope. 경북대학교의 고에너지 충돌물리연구사업단의 삼광검출기연구실에서는차세대 섬광체의 연구개발이 진행되고 있다. World Class University(WCU) 사업의 일환으로써, 섬광 검출기의 일반적인 연구개발을위한 실험실이 구축되었다. 실험실의 주요 목표는 국제 선형 가속기(ILC,International Linear Coillider)실험에 적용할 새로운 형태의칼로리미터에 적용할 섬광 검출기 개발이며, 텅스텐과 소형 스트립섬광체의 층으로 구성되어 있다. 현재까지 국제공동연구에 참여하여ILC의 전자기 에너지 검출기(ScECAL, Scintillator strip electromagnetic calorimeter)연구를 진행하여 왔다. 칼로리미터의제작과 테스트를 지난 3년간 수행하였으며, ScECAL이 충분한 성능을가지고 있음을 보여주었다. 또한 실험실은 다양한 목적을 가지는섬광검출기의 일반적인 연구를 수행할 수 있으며, PET와 같은 의학분야에응용 연구도 고려하고 있다. 본 논문을 통하여 소형 섬광체의 연구현황과 향후 전망에 대하여 소개한다.

      • Logical Reasoning and Emotional Response System using Structured Association Technique

        There are several methods to implement the logical machine reasoning such as a frame theory and a production system of artificial intelligence. And these algorithms can explain the obtained result through the inference processes. However, emotional (KANSEI) patterns are not so easily implement. One of reason is that some emotional expression is the result of process from unconscious level to conscious level, and not easily identified the original unconscious causes. Therefore, a function of KANSEI database needs to structuralize unconscious level. Our approach is to develop the computerized counseling support system which can structuralize the unconscious brain functions from the view point of the psychology with focusing physiological and emotional responses. Especially, development of the algorithm that can form the network from unconscious to conscious using the image recollection is the application of the structured association technique (SAT). The developed system was implemented on the Web using CGI and emotional network database.

      • No-herbicide Cropping System of High Protein Forage by Use of Italian Ryegrass Living Mulch

        A field experiment was conducted to develop a no-herbicide cropping system of high protein forage. The first crop of winter ㏊bit Italian ryegrass sown in early-April produced DM yield of 4.5t/㏊ (crude protein content: 13.5%) in mid-June and the succeeding crop of soybean no-till planted into ryegrass produced DM yield of 5.1t/㏊ (crude protein content: 19.7%) in Late-October. In this cropping system, the ryegrass remained in vegetative phase during all cropping season and formed dense sod. This sod functioned as living mulch and suppressed weeds without herbicide application both during ryegrass and soybean cropping. Though the soybean germinated under the canopy of regrowing ryegrass sod, its growth was scarcely depressed by the canopy s㏊de because the seedling of soybean appeared above the canopy of sod in a few days. Contrariwise, the ryegrass was gradually shaded by the soybean and ㏊d died before October harvest. The degree of weed suppression by the ryegrass living mulch varied with seeding rate of ryegrass or weed pressure in the field. The optimum seeding rate to suppress weed was 50㎏/㏊ in the field with low or medium weed pressure and was 80 ㎏/㏊ in the field with high weed pressure.

        Complications of endoscopic resection in the upper gastrointestinal tract

        Endoscopic resection (ER) is widely utilized as a minimally invasive treatment for upper gastrointestinal tumors; however, complications could occur during and after the procedure. Post-ER mucosal defect leads to delayed perforation and bleeding; therefore, endoscopic closure methods (endoscopic hand-suturing, the endoloop and endoclip closure method, and over-the-scope clip method) and tissue shielding methods (polyglycolic acid sheets and fibrin glue) are developed to prevent these complications. During duodenal ER, complete closure of the mucosal defect significantly reduces delayed bleeding and should be performed. An extensive mucosal defect that comprises three-quarters of the circumference in the esophagus, gastric antrum, or cardia is a significant risk factor for post-ER stricture. Steroid therapy is considered the first-line option for the prevention of esophageal stricture, but its efficacy for gastric stricture remains unclear. Methods for the prevention and management of ER-related complications in the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum differ according to the organ; therefore, endoscopists should be familiar with ways of preventing and managing organ-specific complications.

        現代日本語の存在文 「XにYがある」 に關する一考察 一時間的限定性を中心に一

        奧田(1996)では文の分類をめぐって、述語が表す事象を一時的な現象か恒常的な質かと捉え、全ての述語を對象に<運動><狀態><存在><特性><關係><質>という意味類型で表した。存在動詞は奧田によると特殊な領域であるとされている。本稿は、日本語の存在動詞において最も多くみられる「XにYがある」構文の存在文を對象に、場所を表す二格名詞Xと、存在主體を表すガ格名詞Yの意味成分とその關係性に着目し、時間的限定性の觀点から分類を試みる。まず、場所成分Xには固定性の高い場所と低い場所がみられ、存在主體Yは場所Xとの關係において流動性の違いが表れることが確認された。また、それぞれの存在文が表す時間的限定性を考察すると、Xの固定性に關係なく、Xに存在するYの流動性が高いほど一時的なアクチュアル性が高まることが見られた。つまり流動性の低いYは相對的に恒常的本質に近接しているが、場所を表すXが固定性が低い場合、場所消滅の可能性が出てくる。卽ちXとYの關係において、ポテンシャルな恒常的本質を表したとしても、Xの場所に移動性があるため一時的現象に容易に移行する現象が起こることが確認された。以上、本稿では「XにYがある」構文の典型を探ってみたのであるが、より多くの用例を對象に詳細な分析を行い、最終的には存在動詞「いる」「ある」の全體的な段階性を提示することを目標とする。 Yasuo Okuda (1996) shows that the concept of "temporal restriction"―the phenomenon represented by the predicate over "classification of sentences" as a temporal phenomenon or a permanent essence―indicates that all verbs can be categorized into < action >, < state >, < existence > < characteristics >, and < substance >. substantive verb is said to be a special area. In this thesis, for the existence sentences which constitute the most basic "existence of Y in X" syntax of this Japanese existence verb, a nominal noun (phrase) X expressing the place and a gaze noun (Phrase) based on the semantic components and relationships,13) we tried classification in view of time limitation. First, the place component X has high and low fluidity, and it can be confirmed that the variability in existence subject Y is related to location X. In addition, observing the time limitation indicated by each existence sentence, it is seen that the higher the variability of Y existing in X irrespective of the mobility of X, the more temporary activity is enhanced. In other words, Y with low variability is relatively close to the constant essential nature, but if X representing the place here is a place with high fluidity, the possibility of the place to disappear comes out . In other words, even if it shows a potential constant constituent in the relationship between X and Y, it was confirmed that a phenomenon occurs in which a flow easily occurs to a temporary phenomenon due to flowing at the location of X. As described above, in this paper I showed the semantic type by the time limitation of the syntax "Y in X", but I will try more detailed analysis on more examples in the future. The final goal is to show the entire variations of "there".
