The practical use of superconducting magnets is limited to medical equipment, energy equipment and the like. Therefore, it does not fully utilize the superior features of superconducting magnet or magnetic force. In order to overcome this blockage condition, The international Forum on Magnetic Force Control (IFMFC) was launched in Tokyo in 2010 by the magnetic separation researchers in Japan, Korea and China. The policy is to hold around the country every year, to apply the application to the engineering field of magnetic force utilization and information exchange about the development of applied science to mutual visit of researchers and to develop the application field of superconducting magnets in particular. The main object is to review the field of application of magnetic force with respect to published papers at 8 IFMFCs, and to introduce the trend of research forum utilizing strong magnetic force which is rare in the world. The United Nations is asking each country to achieve Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) targets for 2030. This IFMFC review will be utilized in this field.
NORTHEAST ASIAN REGIONALISM: LESSONS FROM EUROPE, NORTH AMERICA, ASIA-PACIFIC, AND SOUTHEAST ASIA
Tsuneo Akaha The Institute of East and West Studies 1999 Global economic review Vol.28 No.2
The article discusses the major characteristics of Northeast Asia as a region in terms of the distribution of power, the role of the state and of the market integration, and the cultural and other norms that inform the development of consensus on regional cooperation. It then reviews the experiences of regional cooperation in Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific, and Southeast Asia in terms of the same variables. Finally, the article discusses the lessons to bi drawn from these experiences for the desirable and likely direction of regional cooperation in Northeast Asia. The basic argument is that in Northeast Asia, an incremental, consensus-based, evolutionary approach to region building is both likely and desirable to accommodate the disparate power distribution, varying levels of economic development, and diverse domestic dynamic, including cultural norms, that are found in the region building is both likely and desirable to accommodate the disparate power distribution, varying levels of economic development, and diverse domestic dynamic, including cultural norms, that are found in the region.
An Efficient Color Transferring Interface with 3-Dimensional Transformation
Tsuneo Kagawa,Hiroaki Nishino,Kouichi Utsumiya 대한전자공학회 2008 ITC-CSCC :International Technical Conference on Ci Vol.2008 No.7
We propose a user interface for color transferring with 3D computer graphics techniques. Proposing user interface can plot points describing color information of images in an arbitrary color space, such as RGB, HSI, and CIELAB (L*a*b*). These colors form three-dimensional distributions in the color spaces. Users can facilitate some operations, such as transformation, rotation and scaling, to these shapes representing color distribution in 3D space without altering visual appearance of original images. This type of interactive color transferring makes control very intuitive.
International Migration and Multicultural Coexistence in Japan
Tsuneo Akaha(츠네오 아카하) 고려대학교 아세아문제연구소 2010 亞細亞硏究 Vol.53 No.2
Japan has been slow in embracing the need to open its door to international migration in the face of its aging and shrinking population and resulting labor shortage. The article examine how the balance between forces of resistance to immigration reform and forces for change is evolving. It first looks at the current immigration situation in Japan. This is followed by a brief description of the nation's immigration policy and its key components. It identifies the myth of ethnic homogeneity and other sources of Japan’s restrictive immigration policy and discusses recent ad hoc efforts to liberalize the policy. It then discusses the multicultural coexistence movement in the nation, an aspect of change in the way Japanese society is responding to the growing foreign populations in the country. It concludes that sweeping immigration reform is unlikely and that the dominant (Japanese) ethnicity will tolerate, not embrace, the multiple minority ethnicities that exist and will continue to grow in their country.
Counter Traction Makes Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection Easier
Tsuneo Oyama 대한소화기내시경학회 2012 Clinical Endoscopy Vol.45 No.4
Poor counter traction and poor field of vision make endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) difficult. Good counter traction allows dissections to be performed more quickly and safely. Position change, which utilizes gravity, is the simplest method to create a clear field of vision. It is useful especially for esophageal and colon ESD. The second easiest method is clip with line method. Counter traction made by clip with line accomplishes the creation of a clear field of vision and suitable counter traction thereby making ESD more efficient and safe. The author published this method in 2002. The name ESD was not established in those days; the name cutting endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) or EMR with hook knife was used. The other traction methods such as external grasping forceps, internal traction, double channel scope, and double scopes method are introduced in this paper. A good strategy for creating counter traction makes ESD easier.
