Modified Apostol-type polynomials arising from umbral calculus

In this paper, by using the orthogonality type as defined in the umbral calculus, we derive an explicit formula for several well-known polynomials as a linear combination of the modified Apostol-type polynomials.

We compute the product of several Bernoulli and Euler polynomials by using Euler basis for the vector space of polynomials of bounded degree. Moreover, a connection to harmonic numbers has been discussed.

In this paper, we rederive the identity Γ(x)Γq(1 − x) = q sinq(qx) . Then, we give q-analogue of Gauss’ multiplication formula and study representation of q-oscillator algebra in terms of the q-factorial polynomials.

In this paper, we present nonlinear differential equations for the generating functions for the Korobov numbers and for the Frobenuius-Euler numbers. As an application, we nd an explicit expression for the nth derivative of 1= log(1 + t).
