The Co3O4 nanorod bundles are synthesized by a hydrothermal method. The samples are characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), electron diffraction (ED), X-ray powder diffractometer (XRD), and nitrogen adsorption. It is important that the as-obtained Co3O4 nanorod bundles are assembled by nanoparticles. The porous nanorod bundle electrode exhibits a higher rate capacity and a higher reverse capability for lithium ion battery than the solid nanorods, which is attributed to the high surface area and the porous structure.
Robust Inland Waterway Ship Tracking via Orthogonal Particle Filter-based Predator

Tracking-Learning-Detection (TLD), also known as Predator, has become one of the most popular state-of-the-art algorithms in the domain of visual tracking in recent years. It has demonstrated outstanding performance in the application of long-term tracking of a human face in unconstrained videos. In this paper, we address the problem of tracking a single ship in inland waterway CCTV videos given its location in the first frame and no other prior information. Firstly, we deeply analyze Predator in a perspective of control system and point out the search strategy in detection procedure is the most time-consuming part in Predator system. Secondly, in order to speed up the whole pipeline, we propose a novel motion model based on extended particle filter with orthogonal design. Due to the power of particle optimization and re-combination with orthogonal design, we can relate the motion of object of interest better and obtain the most likely candidates of object regions more effectively. Finally, both qualitative and quantitative evaluations on numerous challenging CCTV videos demonstrate that the proposed algorithm achieves favorable performance in terms of efficiency and accuracy.

For the temperature regulation in a rapid thermal processing system in semiconductor manufacturing, we develop an adaptive iterative learning controller based on the finite-element-method in this paper. A finite-dimensional model of the system is constructed by the finite-element-method firstly. Then, adaptive iterative learning controller is designed based on the finite-dimensional model. Simulations are performed by heating the wafer in the system with the developed control method. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive iterative learning controller.

A series of novel imidazole-blocked diisocyanate bioadhesives (IBAs) were synthesized from reaction of toluene 2, 4-diisocyanate (TDI), isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI), hydroxyl-terminated polylactide (HO-PLA-OH), 1,1,1-trimethylolpropane (TMP), and imidazole. Synthesis of IBAs was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and gel permeation chromatography (GPC). Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) revealed that the TDI-based IBA had lower thermal dissociation temperature and a faster deblocking rate than IBA based on IPDI. Hydroxyl-terminated polyurethane (HPU) was introduced to study the adhesive effect of the synthesized IBAs. Improvement on elastic modulus, tensile strength and water resistance of IBA-modified HPU in comparison with neat HPU suggested the good adhesive effect of IBA due to the strong chemical reaction between released NCO groups from IBA and hydroxyl groups from HPU.

The Internet and smart phones are creating new business forms and new star enterprises. sharing economy services have attracted much attention due to their potential value and huge growth potential. The sharing economy was first used by Professor L. Lessig of Harvard University in his book Remix in 2008. The sharing economy refers to the consumption mode based on cooperative consumption, that is, the sharing consumption of something personally owned and will not need, which can lend to others. Such as production equipment, goods, and services, etc. (Ji-hwan Kim, 2017) Therefore, the most important advantage of the sharing economy is that it can meet the diversified needs of consumers, use idle resources, increase the utilization of resources, and save resources, so as to achieve the purpose of saving resources. According to the results, first, Security and inter-regional availability have a positive influence on user attitude and continuous use intentions. Second, Interaction does not have a positive influence on user attitude and continuous use intentions. Third, Sharing, discount, and convenience have a positive influence on user attitude and continuous use intentions.

In this article, a novel fuzzy systems based on adaptive Iterative Learning Control (ILC) strategy is presented to deal with a class of non-parametric nonlinear discrete-time systems which perform iteration-varying reference trajectory tracking. Using the technique of fuzzy systems to compensate for the non-parametric uncertainty of the discrete-time system dynamics, the proposed adaptive ILC scheme can well track the iteration-varying reference trajectory beyond the initial time points. The convergence of the fuzzy systems based adaptive ILC algorithm is guaranteed by theoretical analysis, and a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the adaptive ILC scheme.

Background: Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) play important roles in pathogenesis and development of cancer. Recently, many studies have show associations between polymorphisms in the promoter regions of MMPs and risk of gastric cancer. The present meta-analysis was conducted in order to investigate the potential association between four polymorphisms in the MMP gene and gastric cancer risk. Methods: A computerized literature search was conducted in databases of Med-line, Embase, Science Citation Index and PubMed till June 2013 for any MMP genetic association study of gastric cancer. Odds ratios (ORs) and 95 % confidence intervals (CIs) were estimated for each gene under dominant and recessive models, and heterogeneity between studies was assessed using the Q test and $I^2$ value. Overall and subgroup analyses according to ethnicity were carried out with Stata 12.0. Results: 14 reports covering 8,146 patients (2,980 in the case group and 5,166 in the control group) were included in the present meta-analysis. We found that the MMP-7 (-181A>G) polymorphism increased the gastric cancer risk in therecessive model (GG vs. AA/AG, OR=1.768, 95% CI =1.153-2.712). For MMP2 -1306 C>T, MMP1-1607 1G/2G, and MMP9-1 562 C>T, there were no associations between these polymorphisms and the risk of gastric cancer under dominant or recessive models. Conclusion: This meta-analysis suggested that the MMP7-181 A>G polymorphism may contribute to gastric cancer susceptibility. More studies are needed, especially in Europeans, in the future.

Viruses have always been a class of pathogenicmicroorganisms that threaten the health and safety of humanlife worldwide. However, for a long time, the treatment ofviral infections has been slow to develop, and only a fewantiviral drugs have been using clinically. Compared withthese from terrestrial environments, marine-derived microorganismscan produce active substances with more novelstructures and unique functions. From 2015 to 2019, 89antiviral compounds of 8 structural classes have been isolatedfrom marine microorganisms, of which 35 exhibit anti-H1N1 activity. This review surveys systematically marinemicrobial-derived natural products with antiviral activityand illustrates the impact of these compounds on antiviraldrug discovery research.

<P>A new method was adopted to fabricate the nitrogen-incorporated hydrogenated diamond-like carbon ( DLC) film electrodes with TiN/TiCN/DLC multilayers on Ti substrates by a hybrid deposition technique and post annealing. The TiN and TiCN sublayers acted as adhesive layers and a nitrogen donor source for the DLC layer. Solid diffusion of nitrogen from these sublayers to the DLC layer occurred during annealing to form the N-incorporated DLC films. The electrical resistivity of the DLC films was significantly reduced by annealing process due to the graphitization and incorporation ofN. The potential windowof the DLC/Ti electrodes slightly decreased after annealing, while the electrochemical activity and catalytic ability of the electrodes for the redox of Fe(CN)(6)(3-/4-) were significantly improved, which was attributed to the decreased resistivity and the active C-N function group on the electrode surface. The optimized annealing temperature was 800 degrees C and the DLC/Ti-800 degrees C electrode exhibited comparable electrochemical characteristics with the boron-doped diamond electrode and superior properties than the Pt/Ti and glassy carbon electrodes, which made it promising electrode candidate for wastewater treatment. The correlations between the microstructure evolution and the electrochemical properties of the DLC films at various annealing temperatures were also systematically investigated.
