        대학교원의 신분보장 : 교수임용방식 개선방향과 해직교수 구제방안 The ameliorating manner of the legal devices for appointment of college professors and the method for relieving unjustifiable dismissed professors

        In February 2003 The Korean Constitutional Court found The Private School Act "Inconsistent with Constitution" owing to the insufficiency of the Act in view of due process of law which stipulated for the method for the appointment of college professors, so that the Constitutional Court ordered the amendment of The Private School Act. In this essay I have discussed the possible ameliorating manners of the above Act dividing it into such two ways as 1) the ameliorating method for ways for the appointment of college professors 2) the possible method for how to relieve those dismissed professors who were excluded from the reappointment consideration in the past. In case of the method for the reappointment of professors, I have scrutinized it dividing it into two aspects in view of the range of amelioration. To begin with, leaving the present method for contractual appointment as it is, which is estimated as almost and factually the same as the conventional method for appointment on the office term basis, I deduced that there should be the minimal ways to remedy the defects of the due process of law in the Act which were indicated by such a decision as "Inconsistent with Constitution" found by the Korean Constitutional Court. Besides by means of the detailed and basic reconsideration of the method for the appointment of college professors, I have suggested the maximal scope of alternatives by means of which we can turn the given system into the new system to appoint the full time professors in order that in case of appointing each applicant, each professor's retirement age may be guaranteed after undergoing the probationary employment period, which is consistent with the academic and essential attributes of such a office as professor. And in case of the relief method for the dismissed professors who were excluded from the reappointment consideration, I have examined it from two angles according to the scope of each. As regards this matter, I deduced that there should be the idea to establish the minimal procedural rules by virtue of which we can relieve those dismissed professors which are in the end to be categorized within the range of judicial relief(reappointment) by the authority of ex post facto effect of the above mentioned "Inconsistent with Constitution" by The Korean Constitutional Court. Additionally I have suggested the maximal legal device by means of which we can provide all the dismissed professors with the opportunity for reconsideration on the basis of the summons of justice that we are obligated to relieve all those academic victims who were victimized by the conventional erroneous institution. From the standpoint of the hitherto mentioned two directions, I am quite sure that the optimal enactment by the authority of which we will be able to get access to as maximal devices as possible or necessary is to be required.

      • 가지산 수계의 저서성 대형무척추동물 군집구조

        The community structure of benthic macroinvertebratcs in the stream of Mt. Kajisan was studied. The surveyed sites were streams of Seoknamsa area and Backyconsa area. The Collection was per-formed from May to October of 2004. as a result, total macroinvertabates collecter in the stream of Mt. Kajisan were 4 phyla, 5 classes, 15 orders, 42 families, 62 genera, 79 species and 806 individuals. From the Seoknamsa area, 4 phyla, 5 classes 14 orders, 38 families 54 genaera, 69 species and 429 individuals were identified. From the Backyconsa area, 4 phyla, 5 classes,14 order, 36 families 48 genera, 58 species and 377 individuals were found. The community analysis showed higher species diversity and species richness in Seaoknamsa area than those of Backyeonsa area. The dominant species of both areas were Semisulco-spira libertina and it occupied 10% of total individuals or more. The total species richness and species diversity of benthic macroivertcbratcs in the stream of Mt. Kajisan was 26.98 and 1.68 respectively.

      • 편도체 중심핵의 가역적 손상이 공포의 습득과 표현에 미치는 영향

        지난 수년간 여러 보고들은 편도체가 무조건공포 및 조건공포에 관여함을 시사해 왔는며 근래에 들어서는 이 구조물을 하부핵군으로 구분하여 기능적으로 특정화하려는 노력이 시도되고 있다. 편도체 중심핵은 이들 하부핵군들 중 여러 가지 공포반응을 지배하는 뇌간 영역들에 가장 광범위한 투사를 하기 때문에 공포의 표현에 관여할 것이라는 견해가 지배적이다. 그러나 공포의 습득에서 편도체 중심핵의 역할에 대해서는 상반된 주장들이 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 공포나 불안을 측정하는 여러 동물모형중에서 상승된 경악반응 절차를 사용하여, 편도체 중심핵의 가역적 손상이 공포의 습득과 표현에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고 이를 통해 공포학습에서 편도체 중심핵의 역할을 알아보고자 하였다. 공포의 습득장면과 표현장면을 분리하여 연구하기 위해 국소마취제 리도카인이 사용되었다. 실험집단으로는 리도카인의 미세 주입 시기를 훈련 직전과 검사 직전으로 구분한, 리도카인-식염수 집단, 식염수-리도카인집단, 식염수-식염수집단, 리도카인-리도카인집단이 사용되었다. 실험결과, 훈련전이나 혹은 검사전에 리도카인을 투여받은 피험동물들은 경악반응의 상승을 거의 보이지 않았다. 그러나 이같은 결과를 상황의존적 인출실패 때문이라고 볼 수 없다. 왜냐하면 리도카인-리도카인 집단 역시 상승된 경악반응을 보이지 않았기 때문이다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과는 편도체 중심핵이 공포의 표현뿐만아니라 공포의 습득에도 중대하게 관여함을 시사한다. For the past years there have been not a few reports that suggested the amygdala is responsible for conditioned fear as well as for unconditioned fear. In recent years the attempts have been made to divide the amygdala into several sub-structures and to specify each of them in view of its function. And it is generally accepted that among the sub-divisions the central amygdala takes part in the expression of fear because it projects its fibers most expensively to the brainstem areas which control a variety of fear responses. But with respect to the acquisition of fear, the role of the central amygdala is of much controversy. The present study is therefore to investigate what effects the reversible lesions of the central amygdaloid nucleus have on the acquisition and the expression of fear, using the fear-potentiated startle paradigm as an animal model for measuring fear or anxiety, and accordingly to identify the role of the centra amygdala in fear conditioning. To separate conditioning trial from test trial, the local anesthetic lidocaine was used, and so the experiment consisted of four groups on the basis of lidocaine micro-injected right before the conditioning trial or just before the test trial: lidocaine-saline group, saline-lidocaine group, saline-saline group, and lidocaine-lidocaine group. As a result, the animals which had been lidocaine-injected either before the conditioning trial or before the test trial, showed little increase in the startle responses. But the result cannot be due to the state dependent retrieval failure since the lidocaine-lidocaine group showed no fear-potentiated startle responses either. Thus, the result of the study strongly suggests that the central amygdala is involved not only in the expression of fear but also in the acquisition of fear.

      • LQG/LTR 설계 방법을 이용한 자기 부상 시스템 제어에 대한 연구

        In this work, a theoretical model for the study of nonlinear dynamics of a electro-magnetic levitated system is presented. The system can be described by a set of three first order nonlinear ordinary differential equations. After linearizing the system around an equilibrium point, open-loop instability is confirmed and the, feedback system is designed using the linear quadratic gaussian with loop transfer recovery(LQG /LTR) design methodology so as to meet design specification in the frequency domain. Computer simulations are carried out and the results show that LQG/LTR design recovers considerable stability-robustness.

      • 취서산과 천성산 수계의 저서성 대형무척추동물 군집구조

        The community structures of benthic macroinvertebrates in the streams of Mt. Kauisan and Mt. Chuiseosan were studied. The surveyed sites were streams of Mt. Chuiseosan area, Tongdosa area and Naewonsa area of Mt Chunsungsan. The collection was performed from May to October of 2005. As a result, total macroinvertbrates collected in the stream of Mt Chuiseosan area were 3 phyla, 3 classes, 10 orders, 19 families, 31 species and 293 individuals. From the Tongdosa area, 2 phyla, 3 classes, 11 orders, 33 families, 51 species and 827 individuals were identified. From the Naewonsa area, 3 phyla, 4 classes, 11orders, 23 families, 32 species and 457 individuals were found. The community analysis showed the highest species diversity and species richness in Tongdosa area than other areas. The dominant species of this study was Semisulcospira libertina and it occupied 21.66% of total individuals.

      • 下鳥島 植物相의 生態學的 硏究

        This paper contains the results obtained by ecological investigation of flora in Ha-Jo Island of Jin Do Kun in the Southern region of Korean peninsula. 94 families, 214 genera, 239 species, 35 varieties and d forma of tracheophyta were recorede by field investigations conducted over twice in July 1983. The flora of this island showed a plant community predominated by Pinus thynbergii grown in miggle with Carpinus coreana, Cinnamomun japonicum, Raphiolepis umbellata, Zanthoxylum schinifolium, Lespedeza bicolor, sageretia theezans, Grewia biloba var. parviflora, Ligustrum obtusifolium, Ligustrum japonicum. Generally, the number of plant species was scarce, but it was Asparagus cochinchinensis, Dendrobium moniliforme and Bulbophyllum inconspicuum ete. were encountered in the peak of the island (on the Mt. Shinkum). In eastern coast, ever-green broad-leaved forests was mainly consisted of cinnamomun japonicum, machilus thunbergii, Raphiloepis umbellata, Camellia japonica, Eurya emargirata and Ligustrum japonicum. In addition such as Asplenium incisum, Lygodium japonicum, Cytamium fortunei, Melampyrum roseum and Ardisia japonica, Trachelospermum asiaticum var. intermedium, Ardisia crenata were grown as the undergrowth of those forests. Camellia japonica was grown predonimated spontaneously at southwestern coast. By ecological investigation, coefficient of cryptogam of Ha-Jo island is 0.94 and percentage of annual plants is 10.01%.

        The flora(macro-hydrophyte) Vegetation of Baksil reservoir and surrounding area was investigated from March, 2005 to October, 2005. The Macro-hydrophyte of this area consist of 33 taxa : 3 variety, 30 species, 30 genera and 22 family. The Maro-hydrophyte of this area consist of Emergent Plants : 16 species, 14 genera, 11 family, Submerged plants : 4 species, 4 genera, 3 family, Free-floating Plants : 3 species, 3 genera, 2 family, Floating leaved Plants : 2 species, 2 genera, 2 family, Hygrophytes Plants : 5species, 5 genera, 4 family. The communites of Jeongyang lake : Miscanthus Sacchariflorus community, Zizania latifolia community, Phragmites communis community, Tyhpa orientalis community and Trapa japonica community. The life form spectrum : Emergent Plants 49%, Submerged Plants 12%, Free-floating Plants 9%, Floating leaved plants 6%, Hygrophytes plants 15%.

      • 합천군 정양지와 박실지의 곤충 및 저서성 대형무척추동물의 분포

        The community structures of benthic macro-invertebrates and insects of reservoirs Jeongyang and Pakasil in Hapcheon-gun were studied. The surveyed sites were three streams and waterfronts of each lake. The Collection was performed from April to October of 2005. As a result, total macreo-invertebrates collected in the reservoir Jeongyang were 3 phyla, 4 classes, 12 orders, 29 families and 56 species. In insects, 12 orders, 71 families and 167 species were identified. Total macro-invertebrates collectd in the reservoir Paksil were 2 phyla, 3 classes, 8 orders, 19 families and 36 species. In insects, 11orders, 50 families and 137 species were identified.Dominant species of benthic macro-invertebrates and insects in reservoir Jeongyang were Chiromomus sp and Nysius plebejus respectively. Dominant species of benthic macro-invertebrates and insects in reservoir Paksil were Physella acuta and Nysius plebejus respectively. The total species richness and species diversity of benthic macro-invertebrates in the reservoir Jeongyang was 16.88 and 1.43 respectively. The total species richness and species diversidty of benthic macro-invertebrates in the reservoir Paksil was 12.12 and 1.10 respectively. The total species richness and species diversity of insects in the reservoir Jeongyang was 56.65 and 1.99 respectively. The total species richness and species diversity of benthic macro-invertebrates in the reservoir Paksil was 47.65. and 0.90 respectively.

      • NC선반 기어박스의 기어열 : 축계 진동해석 Spindle System for an NC Lathe Gear Box

        In this study, two mathematical models are first constructed to analyze vibration characteristics of a gear train - spindle system of an NC lathe gear box. One is a lumped parameter model which is used for calculating natural frequencies of the torsional vibration, the other is a finite element model for analyzing lateral vibration and critical speeds of the spindle system. In addition, this study examines some possible resonance conditions such as gear mesh frequencies, IX shaft rpm frequencies over whole operating speed range, and so on. The results may be helpful to design a machine tool gear box with low noise and vibration.

      • 선반 기어박스의 기어열 - 축계 진동 해석 및 저감에 관한 연구

        In this study, torsional and lateral vibrations of a gear box transmission system were analyzed theoretically using some mathematical models and examined to determine the causes of its excessive vibrations. As the results, it was found there exist possibility of resonance between gear mesh frequencies and lateral vibration mode of the transmission shaft during the third shifting mode operation. In order to avoid this resonance, we proposed changing the arrangement of gears on the transmission shaft. The measured vibration levels of the improved gear box were dramatically reduced. These results may be helpful to design a machine tool gear box with low noise and vibration.
