        1. Aim of study During the present century the differences of curriculam between culture high school and vocational high school have hada great influence of leisure activities and leisure-time. Aim of this study is to analyze leisure activities of culture high school students and vocational high school students and to try to improve the realistic problems. 2. The results and consideration of study shows the following facts. (1) In the side of home envirooment culture high school students are better than Vocational highschool students. (2) All stupents feel confident of their bright futureand health, but culture high school students are weaker than vocational high school students (12%), and are planning their future more carefully. Vocational high school students tend to be discontented with their course, so unexpectedly many of them hope to go on to college (61.8%) (3) Leisure-time, pocket money and the place to amuse the hours of leisure are interrelative. Vocational high school students comparatively have many hours which they can amuse, so they are looking for their interests in such activities as sports and the outdoortsand the outdoor activities. They, then, come to need much pocket money. (4) During vacation most ofstudents stay at home in common. Culture high school students usually spend their fime studying, while Vocational high school students enjoy their dilettante life. (5) Culturehigh school students evaluate leisur-time high in that it is good to the mental hygiene, and vocational high school students in that it is helpful to the physical training and dilettante life. (6) On the whole culture high school students enjoy the passive leisure activities emphasizing the morality, but vocational high school students like the dynamic leisure activities for amusement. (7) The establishment of new valuation is urgently needed to make a reasonable use of leisure-time, money, implements and facilities for leisure activities.

      • 화력발전 계통의 최적 부하 배분에 관한 연구

        This paper describes the application of dynamic programming(DP) method to solve the problem for optimal load dispatching of thermal power systems. A model system that is similar to the system of Korea electric power corporation is composed of 26 thermal generating units. In operating a model system, total generating fuel costs of two cases were analysied; one was the case of operating all units depending on the formula of equal incremental fuel costs, another was the case of the application of dynamic programming methods with proper starting-up and shutting down units. The computation results showed that the application of dynamic programming methods could reduce remarkably fuel costs(up to 3%) by using of practical data.

      • 水稻早期移秧으로의 增收와 二化螟蟲 被害로 因한 收穫量差異에 關한 試驗

        1. An experiment on earlier planting method of paddy has been carried out to determine its adaptability to the natural condition in the Seoul area, using five varieties of early maturing paddy. These seedlings were grown in the upland seedling beds covered with vinyl under which the lowest temperature in which paddy could be just germinated was maintained through out. Earlier planting method showed heavier infestation by rice stem borer and lower harvesting than both early and late planting methods. These results might be due to (firstly) low temperature which was unfavarable to growing seedlings, (secondly) the adult stage of rice stem borer which occured at the field, and (lastly) high temperature when it was at maturing stage, which caused insufficient maturing. However, although it is possible to have harvest in the beginning of September by earlier planting, this is not economically sound in the Seoul area, because the cost required for making upland planting, is prohibitive in the Seoul area, and because the cost required for making upland seedling beds covered with vinyl and the loss of harvest can not be compensated for by cultivating spinach and feeding crops such as radish, which can only grow in September after harvesting. 2. It is a well known phenomenon that the early planting method brings better harvest, effected by longer growing, But since it is more sound to avoid the loss of harvest caused by infestation than to increase harvest by longer growing period, the transplanting, in the Seoul area, was usually done in the middle of June in order to decrease the infestation of rice stem bore by keeping their adult stage in the seedling bed instead of paddy field. Recently, however, the control method of rice stem borer ha s well been established. Therefore another experiment was carried out on the early planting method, using control method. The paddies were sown in water seedling beds without using vinyl on 26th of April and these seedlings were transplanted on 5th of June. This result showed less infestation by rice stem borer than that of earlier planting method and heavier than that of late planting method. However, harvest was realized by this method. In considering only the foregoing results, it may be possible to adopt this method in Korea, provided that rice stem borer should be controlled with insecticide. But early planting method could be adopted only to the limited area where paddy fields had permanent water supply, which covered one half of the total paddy fields. Because every three year the rainfall comes so late that in the paddy field, where the water supply relies on the rainfalls it is impossible to transplant seedlings before late in June and, on the other hand, it is necessary to control the rice stem borer, since the results obtained on the infestation showed a heavier loss, 3,635 suk, by an uncontrolled test compared with 5,219 suk by a controlled test, and in controlling them no success could be expected with only partial control. 3. In Korea, the paddy fields where water supply relies on the rainfall were often in shortage of water for transplanting before the middle of June because of drought, so that it is not avoidable to use the tempoerary planting method of seedling and the old seedling for the late transplanting. For the purpose of avoiding these defects an experiment was done on the late planting method. These results showed that the degree of infestation by rice stem borer on both the controlled and the uncontrolled test were 0.08 and 0.48, which was negligible when the control method was applied. In comparing the degree of infestation it was quite less than both early and earlier planting methods. In the harvest it was 5,162 suk which was slightly less than 5,292 suk obtained by the early planting method. One important thing in this experiment was that there are slight differences in harvest between the uncontrolled test of late planting method and the controlled test of earlier planting method. Therefore, it may be concluded that for the paddy field without watersupply the late planting method could well be adopted, and in the southern part of Korea where precultivating before transplanting is possible, the late planting method could be also adopted, provided the precultivating with crops such as poraroes and flax for which sufficient period for the maturing should be given and cultivating crops after harvest are ensured.

      • Irbesartan과 Lercanidipine의 병용요법이 고혈압 및 혈관재형성에 미치는 효과

        Hypertension is one of the major risk factor for cardiovascular disease and can lead to or make worse many complications, heart disease, atherosclerosis and diabetes. Thus, managing blood pressure effec tively using therapeutic drugs such as angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) and Ca2+ channel blocker (CCB) can be prevent other complications. Therefore, we investigated the synergistic effect of these two drugs, ir besartan and lercanidipine, for antihypertension, cardioprotection and antidiabetes. Irbesartan (28.74 mg/kg, 14.37 mg/kg) or lercanidipine (1.92 mg/kg, 0.96 mg/kg) alone or combination was administered to sponta-neously hypertensive rats (SHRs) and C57BL/6 mice. A two-week treatment of combination with irbesartan and lercanidipine significantly attenuated systolic blood pressure (SBP) and mean arterial pressure (MAP) compared with monotherapy. Futhermore. the combination therapy protected myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury more effectively than monotherapy. In vascular remodeling, combination therapy significantly diminished cuff -induced neointima formation and reduced serum -indllced vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) pro-liferation compared with monotherapy. However, combination therapy had no significant synergistic effect of blood glucose regulation. Taken together, present study suggest that the combination therapy of irbesartan and lercanidipine may be more effective therapeutic strategy for the treatment of hypertension and related complications, myocardial infarction and arterial restenosis than monotherapy

        In the third generation of mobile computing environment, the applications that are compatible with small members of group in which the applications join the multicast sessions such as Internet phone, video conference and networked games are more prevalent. However, since the traditional multicast mechanisms supporting the mobile computing are suitable for large members of group in the multicast session, we need to consider a new mechanism to complement them. Therefore, in this paper we suggest a new multicast model that adopted explicit multicast(xcast), which has more gradual deployment with legacy Internet backbone. This proposed model is cost-effective and more scalable and guarantees the QoS in mobile computing.

      • 작업일보를 이용한 현장관리시스템 개발에 관한 연구

        The management of working manpower is very important due to the variety of work trades and activities. Although various project management systems have been developed to effectively deal with various tasks in site, they are not in practical use due to the non-cooperative attitude of sub constructors. This is the reason the systems are not developed in the focus of sub constructors, but main constructors and the detail information about daily report is omitted or lost in the collection process by constructors. Therefore, this paper is to propose a system that collects the information about daily reports prepared by sub constructors and uses it to manage sub constructors' workers efficiently. The sys is applied to manage, based of internet, the workers in site by real time.

      • 통합 망관리 시스템 지원을 위한 Managed Object Definition에 관한 연구

        This paper presents a system for internetworking between different network management protocols. The internetworking system between SNMP and CMIP has been designed. SNMP has been used as a standard protocol in Internet while CMIP in OSI network. It is not easy to interoperate SNMP and CMIP because these protocols have several different aspects. So, definition method of integrated managed object to support several different domain managers in the grammar level has been proposed in this paper. In this paper, we propose technique to make new template, "macro" template. This template can include SNMP notation with minimum reformation. The package template is also extended and added for additional rules for SNMP domains. Through this approach, benefits of serving different services can be provided to several domain managers by modifying interfaces.

      • 통합 통신망 관리 시스템 구축 방안 연구

        This paper presents a system for internetworking between different network management protocols. The internetworking system between SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) and CMIP(Common Management Information Protocol) has been designed. SNMP has been used as a standard protocol in Internet while CMIP has been selected as management protocol in OSI network. This approach is different from previous researches which convert protocols between management protocols. We have newly defined manage objects structure. Thus, even if a new management protocol would be introduce in addition, the new gateway system needs not be designed. We can achieve it through minimum modification in the interface of the managed objects. So, we can support managed objects defined previously using MOVI(Manage Object View Interface) concept presented in our previous research. Through this research, we have some additional benefits: it is able to internetwork between more complicated network management protocols, to increase usefulness of SNMP and CMIP, also it will use in internetworking between new network management protocols.
