      • A Study on the Functionality of Halophytes from Coast area of Jeollanam-do

        This study was undertaken to improve the perceived value of halophytes and contribute to the activity of the local economy by analyzing the antioxidant activity and mineral content of Suaeda japonica, Tetragonia tetragonoides, and Spergularia marina that grow wild on the mud flats and coastal areas. The total phenolic compound content found in each order is as follows: Suaeda japonica (3.674∼5.989 mg TAE/g dry wt.), Tetragonia tetragonoides (2.515∼4.471 mg TAE/g dry wt.), and Spergularia marina (2.450∼4.067 mg TAE/g dry wt.); DPPH radical scavenging and ABTS cation radical scavenging activities were also recorded in the same order. In the case of minerals, Iron(Fe) was relatively high in Suaeda japonica (960.1∼1,346.7 mg/kg), Manganese(Mn) in Tetragonia tetragonoides (197.1∼574.8 mg/kg), and Zinc(Zn) was relatively high in Spergularia marina (63.19∼216.56 mg/kg). It was confirmed that the mineral content of Suaeda japonica, Tetragonia tetragonoides, and Spergularia marina was significantly higher than that of Chinese cabbage, lettuce, leek, and spinach.

      • 조경분야의 이용후평가 적용모델과 그 가능성에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to present a process model and outline of steps of POE that can be applied to outdoor open space, to review some POEs of urban parks(Yangjae Forest Park, Namsankol Park, and Paris Park) in Seoul Korea, and to offer some suggestions to landscape architects. This paper is organized as follows; The next section reviews the history of papers written about urban park and green space, and finds put the trend and context of some POE papers. Section 3 explains the method and technics of POE survey and purposes a POE process model. Section 4 studies restrains and possibilities in applying POE into landscape architecture by reviewing some POEs of urban parks in Seoul. And last section summarizes the findings of this study and offers some suggestions applying POE into landscape architecture.

      • 금속 결합제를 사용한 Nd-Fe-B 영구자석에 관한 연구

        Recently there has been a great deal of interests Nd-Fe-B permanent magnet materials because of the broad availability, the low cost of constituents and impressive magnetic properties. Powder metallurgical method is mostly used for fabrication of Nd-Fe-B hard magnets. Nd-Fe-B plastic magnets are fabricated by mixing melt spun magnetic powders with resin. In this study metal powders as a binder are used. MQ powder and Nd-Fe-B alloy powder by mechanical grinding compacted, heat-treated and hot-pressed with additive Zn, Ag-Zn, Al-Cu binders and the magnetic properties on two kinds of permanent magnets were investigated with DC-fluxmeter, SEM and AES. The results obtained in this experiment are as follows; 1. Nd-Fe-B isotropic magnets with mechanical grinding and additive Zn, Ag-Zn, Al-Cu were fabricated, but obtained not above B_r 4.5kG because of no densitification. 2. Nd-Fe-B isotropic magnet which used MQ powder with additive 6wt% Zn and heat-treated at 650℃ for 1 hour is increased to _iH_c 2.7kOe, while Nd-Fe-B magnet with additive 6wt% Ag-Zn at 700℃ for 1 hour is increased _iH_c 5.5kOe. 3. Nd_16Fe_78B_6 isotropic permanent magnet which added Al-Cu 3wt% and hot-pressed at 700℃ is obtained B_r 6.7kG, _iH_c 18.4kOe.

      • 인슐린 비의존형 당뇨병 환자에서 만성합병증과 혈청 sialic acid농도

        Background: An elevated serum sialic acid concentration has recently been shown to be a potent predictor of cardiovascular mortality in the general white population. Microalbuminuria has been shown to be a independent risk factor or predictor of diabetic nephropathy and macroangiopathy in NIDDM. Several studies have shown a elevated serum sialic acid concentrations in NIDDM patients compared with nondiabetic subjects and in IDDM patients with microalbuminuria and clinical proteinuria. Methods : We studied 29 patients with NIDDM who had a normal urinary albumin excretion rate, 16 patients who had microalbuminuria, and 23 patients with clinical proteinuria. We also investigated sialic acid levels related to blood pressure, microalbuminuna, glycemic control, lipid analysis, serum sialic acid levels, and retinopathy. Results : 1) This study shows that NIDDM patients with macroalbuminuna had significantly higher serum sialic acid concentrations than control group, normoalbummuria, and microalbuminuria group.(meand:SE : 90.41±5.6 vs. 69.7±3.8, 68.2±2.4 and 72.6±2.9mg/dl, p<0.05 respectively). 2) Multiple linear regression analysis showed that systolic blood pressure, duration of diabetes, diastolic blood pressure, triglyceride, ESR, and albumin excretion rate (AER) correlate independently with logarithmic serum sialic acid concentrations. 3) The presence or absence of diabetic retinopathy had no impact on serum sialic acid concentration. Conclusions : This study shows that the serum sialic acid concentration is raised in NIDDM patients with macroalbuminuria. And there are no relationships between serum sialic acid and diabetic retinopathy. Further study is needed to confirm the mechanism of elevated serum sialic acid in NIDDM. And prospective studies are thought to be required to evaluate whether serum sialic acid concentration can be used as a predictor of microvascular and macrovascular complications in diabetes.

      • 한란 및 심비디움의 기내 증식에 미치는 생장조절물질의 효과

        This study was carried out to determine the effects of plant growth regulators on organogenesis from Cymbidium kanran and Cymbidium hybrida. Optimal rhizome formation from Cymbidium kanran was obtained on MS medium with 10 ppm kinetin+2 ppm NAA, and optimal protocorm formation from Cymbidium hybrida was obtained on MS medium with 10 ppm kinetin+0.05 ppm NAA. However, in this study the optimal media for the callus induction from both explants was not identified. Optimal shoot induction from rhizome of Cymbidium kanran was obtained on MS medium with 10 ppm BA+2 ppm NAA and 5 ppm BA+2 ppm NAA. Optimal shoot induction from protocorm of Cymbidium hybrida was obtained on MS medium with 10 ppm kinetin+2 ppm NAA.

      • 주거공간의 이산화질소 농도분포 조사 : 대기오염 측정용 환경교과 부교재의 개발 및 적용

        The passive sampler was applied for the purpose of nitrogen dioxide concentration survey of indoor air quality and to evaluate as a sub-material for environmental education experiment course by teachers who participate in the environment research study. According to the examination results, the nitrogen dioxide passive sampler is adequate as a sub-material for environment experiment course because that fabrication, sampling and analysis procedure is very simple and the whole procedure takes just three hours adequately, The indoor air quality survey results indicate that the kitchen is the primary source of NO2 at home and it is permeated into living room, bed room and veranda. The trends of NO2 permeation between apartment and individual house are similar. But, individual house has a lower concentration than apartment. Although samples are not enough and the sampling site are not specified, it appeared that if the traffic volume is to be small, then the NO2 concentration is lower than the other condition.

      • 集中降雨時 無限斜面의 剪斷强度特性에 關한 實驗的 硏究

        Granite weathered soil obtained from the cutting slope is divided into two sample materials of SM and SP on the basis of the Unified Soil Classification System (USCS), manufactured the model slope consisting of these, and the pore water pressure and the depth of seepage according to the inclination of the slope and the precipitation strength are measured. From the result of the experiment, the pore water pressure is increased in proportion to the precipitation strength, which is proportionally increased to the inclination of the slope and tends to be decreased when it meets the steep slope of more than 1:1.5. The speed of seepage to the slope in accordance with the precipitation is turned out fast when the inclination of the slope is gentle; according to the result of the Lumbs suggested formula, the actual speed of seepage is faster than the theoretical speed. The shear strength within the slope is decreased as the precipitation strength increases, and since it shows the minimum value at the inclination of the slope in 1:1.5, it can be said that the shear strength declines due to the' increase of the pore water pressure within the slope. Also the slope consisting of SP is faster in the seepage compared to that of SM: and the likelihood of the slope failure is a lot bigger as the shear strength greatly declines with the much increase of the pore water pressure.

      • MIS型 Microstrip에서의 크로스토크와 遲延에 관한 解析

        As the density and speed of integrated circuits are continuing to increase, it becomes important that microstrip interconnections can limit overall performance of an integrated system. In this paper, we analyzed crosstalk and propagation delay due to semiconductor thickness and resistivity in microstrip interconnection of MIS type, and investigated crosstalk and delay values in optimized interconnection conditions. In MIS structure interconnection, as the semiconductor thickness and resistivity were decreasing, crosstalk and propagation delay were reduced. Therefore, when the shielding plate is inserted between semiconductor and insulator, crosstalk and propagation delay give the same values as those of zero thickness of semiconductor. Inserting shielding ground plate, the interconnection whose geometric values are 10㎛ strip width, 10㎛ space and 10㎝length, has 7.6% crosstalk and 0.76 nsec propagation delay at 100㎒ frequency.

      • 조경수목의 컨테이너생산과 노지생산 방식에 대한 비교연구 : 경제적 실용화 가능성을 중심으로 Economic Feasibility Study

        외국에 비해 국내에서는 아직 컨테이너식재가 보편화되지 않고 있어 그 효용성을 인식하지 못하여 왔다. 일부 조경수 생산업체를 중심으로 외국의 기술을 시범적으로 실험하여 적용가능성을 타진하는 경우가 있으나, 아직은 체계화된 연구결과를 발표하는 단계에까지는 이르지 못하고 있다. 그것은 생산자 측면에서는 기존의 조경수 생산업이 소규모의 영세성을 벗어나지 못하였고 품질위주의 생산보다는 양적인 식재관행에 의존하여 그때그때의 시장수요에 대응하는 수동적인 자세만을 견지해 왔기 때문이다. 연구개발 측면에서는 선진적인 조경수 생산분야에서의 신기술개발 관심이 부족하였고 일과성의 연구가 단편적으로 수행되고 있는 풍토에서 장기적인 안목의 연구투자가 뒷받침되지 못했기 때문이다. 따라서 컨테이너 생산기술 보급을 위해 참고하거나 현장에서 적용할 수 있는 기초자료가 거의 축적되어 있지 않다. 한편, 컨테이너 석재기술의 선진국인 미국, 유럽 등의 연구수준은 우리보다 앞서있으나, 그 기술을 그대로 도입하는 데는 몇 가지 문제점이 있다. 우선 4계절이 뚜렷한 우리나라의 기후조건에 적용가능성이 불투명하고, 생산되는 조경수목 또한 생리적, 생태적 차이가 있으므로 선진 연구결과에 따라 그대로 기술을 적용했을 경우, 동일한 성과를 보장 할 수 없다. 또한 저림한 조경수목의 단가에 비해 컨테이너 생산방식의 도입에 따라 과다한 생산비 증가요인이 발생될 경우, 그 생산기법이 아무리 효과적이라도 실용화 되기 어렵다. 특히, 노지재배를 주로 하고 있는 우리나라 조경생산업의 현실에서 외국의 선진 컨테이너의 무분별한 도입으로 그 실용화 가능성에 대한 검증이 이루어지지 못하게 된다면, 계속 기술 종속적인 상태로 영세성과 후진성을 면치 못하게 될 것이다. 따라서 본 고에서는 우선 컨테이너 생산방식의 실용화 가능성을 살펴보기 위하여 기존의 노지생산방식과 어떤 차이 가 있는 지 생산비를 기준으로 비교·분석하여 보았다. 분석결과, 컨테이너 생산방식은 굴취인건미가 노지생만방식의 20%에 불과하고 보조재료비와 운반비를 포함했을 경우, 50% 수준이다. 반면 컨테이너 자재 및 주기적 이식 및 관리비용은 노지생산방식에 비해 약 4배정도 소요된다. 그러나 본 연구결과에 의하면 조경수 생산비에서 노루비가 차지하는 비율이 계속 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 기존의 조경수 생산방식은 노동력을 많이 요구하는 방식으로써, 가속화되어 가는 노동력 감소 추세에 비추어 한계를 가지고 있다. 따라서 적은 노동력과 균일한 품질의 조경수생산이 가능한 컨테이너 생산방식은 이러한 우리나라 여건에 잘 부응될 수 있는 기술이 될 것으로 사료된다. This study was aimed at finding out the economic feasibility of container versus traditional landscape tree production methods. The results were as follows. The uprooting labor cost of the container production method was at less 20% than the traditional production methods. And th total cost of supporting material and shipping was reached at 50%. The total cost of container supporting materials and transplanting(shipping) was calculated 4 times as the traditional production method. But, the labor cost was on the increasing nowadays, and the traditional production methods were labor consuming in it-self. Therefore, it has th limits as the decreasing nursery labor supply market conditions. I could be concluded that the container production methods have more advantages than the traditional production methods under the financial and manpower shortage conditions of nursery industry.
