REDUCTION OF REVERSE RECOVERY LOSSES IN SOFT SWITCHED PWM CONVERTERS BY SATURABLE REACTORS
Svetlana Hacharnov,Sam Ben-Yaakov 전력전자학회 1995 ICPE(ISPE)논문집 Vol.1995 No.10
The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of the saturable reactor on the reverse recovery process of diode. This was done by PSPICE (MicroSim Inc.) simulation of an equivalent circuit that represents the problem on hand including a qualitative account of all major losses. The simulation that was verified by experimental results, point out to the merit of connecting a bypass resistor in parallel with the saturable reactor. The simulation methodology developed in the paper could be helpful in studying other reverse recovery problems.

Given the trend of increasing imbalance in the economic development of administrative-territorial units and ensuring their innovative development, the issue of upgrading the effectiveness of the anti-crisis regional policy is becoming urgent. The research aim is to develop an econometric model for assessing the impact of asymmetries in the develop-ment of urban economies on the regional socio-economic development based on the case of Kazakhstan. The article establishes a sample of indicators of socio-economic development of cities and regions in Kazakhstan in 2014-2018. The governance indicators of the influence of the asymmetry in urban development on the regional socio-economic development in Kazakhstan have been determined based on the Granger causality test, the creation of a cognitive map and the identification of hierarchy levels. The asymmetry in regional development has been estimated applying the coefficient of variation of the relevant indicators of socio-economic development of cities and regions, taking into account the lagged variables. The developed model allows determining the convergence model of regional develop-ment, the nature of the influence of asymmetries in the development of cities on the regional economic development in the context of economic growth and recession, as well as identifying the key factors in the asymmetry of regional development. The results are based on reliable data; they are of practical importance and can serve as the basis for the elaboration of effective preventive measures for anti-crisis regional development policy, not only to neutralize asymmetries, but also to achieve economic growth under the conditions of unbalanced regional development.
Service Adaptation Middleware for Video Service in Ubiquitous Environment
Svetlana Kim,Yong-Ik Yoon 한국멀티미디어학회 2007 한국멀티미디어학회 국제학술대회 Vol.2007 No.-
Lately the usage of multimedia equipment with small LCD displays is rapidly increasing. Although many people use devices like this, videos intended for TV or HDTV are sent to these mobile devices. Therefore cases where it is hard for the user to view the desired scenes are growing more frequent. Currently, most services simply reduce the size of the content to fit the screen when they offer it for mobile devices. However, especially with sports broadcasts, there are many areas that cannot be seen very well because it was simply reduced in size. We therefore consider this weakness and are researching how to let the user choose an area of interest and then sending it to the user in a way that fits the device.
Extending the Multidimensional Data Model to Handle Complex Data
Svetlana Mansmann,Marc H. Scholl 한국정보과학회 2007 Journal of Computing Science and Engineering Vol.1 No.2
Data Warehousing and OLAP (On-Line Analytical Processing) have turned into the key technology for comprehensive data analysis. Originally developed for the needs of decision support in business, data warehouses have proven to be an adequate solution for a variety of non-business applications and domains, such as government, research, and medicine. Analytical power of the OLAP technology comes from its underlying multidimensional data model, which allows users to see data from different perspectives. However, this model displays a number of deficiencies when applied to non-conventional scenarios and analysis tasks. This paper presents an attempt to systematically summarize various extensions of the original multidimensional data model that have been proposed by researchers and practitioners in the recent years. Presented concepts are arranged into a formal classification consisting of fact types, factual and fact-dimensional relationships, and dimension types, supplied with explanatory examples from real-world usage scenarios. Both the static elements of the model, such as types of fact and dimension hierarchy schemes, and dynamic features, such as support for advanced operators and derived elements. We also propose a semantically rich graphical notation called X-DFM that extends the popular Dimensional Fact Model by refining and modifying the set of constructs as to make it coherent with the formal model. An evaluation of our framework against a set of common modeling requirements summarizes the contribution.
Diamagnetic Microparticle Movement in High Gradient Magnetic Separation Analyses
Svetlana B. Norina,Kwang-Sup Soh,Sang-Hyun Park 한국물리학회 2005 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.47 No.1
Diamagnetic capture of red blood cells and Bonghan granules near a magnetized ferromagnetic wire was studied with high gradient magnetic collection parametric measurements. The diamagnetic trajectories followed the analytical equations for the axial configuration with a vertically oriented wire. Single erythrocytes of normal and diseased donors were tested in capture measurements, and a considerable difference resulted in the magnetic velocities. The magnetic susceptibility of Bonghan granules was measured in the buildup process on the wire under stopped-flow conditions. The buildup profiles of the accumulation process for super-paramagnetic submicron particles of ferritin and for diamagnetic DNA-containing Bonghan granules were compared using the developed simulation model of separated droplet growth. The diamagnetic values of the magnetic susceptibility for Bonghan granules were evaluated by using several methods, and the values varied widely:−(0.8 5.8) × 10−8 (CGS units).
Концепт МУЗЫКА в русской языковой картине мира (на материале лексикографических источников)
Svetlana A. Shagaeva 한국슬라브어학회 2021 슬라브어연구 Vol.26 No.1
The article is devoted to the description of the concept MUSIC in a Russian linguistic worldview. The target of the paper is to analyze Russian lexicographic sources and try to depict the structure of the complex universal concept MUSIC according to the modern postulates of cognitive linguistics. And understand how Russians treats music as a phenomenon. The structure of the concept consists of cognitive elements which is usually verbalized in words. It is spoken in details about sensual image (music is beauty, passion, euphoria), informative content (music is an art in general, a piece of art, the sound of a piece of art and a harmonic sound in general), interpretative content (music is beautiful, music is a message, we need to study it, music educates and entertains us, the names of the musicians becomes the part of our culture, the idioms content the word with musical semantics describe professional sphere of the musicians and social sphere of common people etc.) of the concept. A brief description of musical metaphoric is also given (the music of life, the music of words etc.). The paper concludes with a consideration that MUSIC is a complex and poly aspect phenomenon. The huge number of representatives indicates the important of the concept in Russian worldview. .
Sensor properties of materials based on fluoride polymer F-4SF films modified by polyaniline
Svetlana Shkirskaya,Maria Kolechko,Natalia Kononenko 한국물리학회 2015 Current Applied Physics Vol.15 No.12
The conditions for the formation of an anion-exchange layer of polyaniline on the surface of uncharged hydrophobic polytetrafluoroethylene film F-4SF were found. The effect of the F-4SF films pretreatment by different organic solvents for self-assembly synthesis of the PANI layers on an inert substrate was studied. Formation of PANI layers in the form of emeraldine salt leads to a change of the F-4SF surface properties towards hydrophilic from completely hydrophobic while also adding anion-exchanging properties. Obtained composite film F-4SF/PANI is highly sensitive towards pH value of a solution in which it is immersed, due to protonationedeprotonation reaction of the emeraldine salt. At the same time, this change in the chemical structure of the polyaniline is reversible, so composite material F-4SF/ PANI can be used for development of optical pH sensors.
