For an industry, production capacity is defined as the maximum level of output that plants can maintain within the framework of a realistic work schdule, taking account of normal downtime, and assuming sufficient availability of inputs to operate machinery and equipment in place. Such capacity is one of the important and basic data to measure, manage and evaluate the production performance and ability of any industrial bodies. However, the estimating methods now in use in Korea are seemed far from the definition above. And there are not any standard estimating method suggested even in the same sort of manufacturing and also no applicable theory for objective and exact measurement. Thus, in this paper, a new measuring model is suggested as standard and supporting theories are developed for general measurement purpose to any manufacturing industries.

Background: A peripheral extracorporeal membrane oxygenator (p-ECMO) has been developed to support patients who are dying due to a serious cardiopulmonary condition. This analysis was planned to define the clinical situation in which the patient benefits most from a p-ECMO. Material and Methods: Between June 2007 and Aug 2009, a total of 41 adult patients used the p-ECMO. There were 23 males and 18 females (mean age 54.4±15.1years). All patients had very unstable vital signs with hypoxia and complex cardiac problems. We divided the patients into 4 groups. In the first group, a p-ECMO was used as a bridge to cardiac operation. In the second group, patients did not have the opportunity to undergo any cardiac procedures; nevertheless, they were treated with a p-ECMO. In the third group, patients mostly had difficulty in weaning from CPB (cardiopulmonary bypass)after cardiac operation. The fourth group suffered from many complications, such as pneumonia, bleeding, infections, and LV dysfunction with underlying cardiac problems. All cannulations were performed by the Seldinger technique or cutting down the femoral vessel. A long venous cannula of DLP^Ⓡ (Medtronic Inc, Minneapolis, MN)or RMI^Ⓡ (Edwards Lifesciences LLC, Irvine, CA) was used together with a 17∼21 Fr arterial cannula and a 21Fr venous cannula. As a bypass pump, a Capiox emergency bypass system (EBS^Ⓡ; Terumo, Tokyo, Japan) was used. We attempted to maintain a flow rate of 2.4∼3.0 L/min/m² and an activated clotting time (ACT) of around 180 seconds. Results: Nine patients survived by the use of the p-ECMO. Ten patients were weaned from a p-ECMO but they did not survive, and the remainder had no chance to be weaned from the p-ECMO. The best clinical situation to apply the p-ECMO was to use it as a bridge to cardiac operation and for weaning from CPB after cardiac operation. Conclusion: Various clinical results were derived by p-ECMO according to the clinical situation. For the best results, early adoption of the p-ECMO for anatomical correction appears important.
Cavernous Lymphangioma Arising in the Chest Wall 19 Years after Excision of a Cystic Hygroma
Woo Surng Lee,김요한,지현근,Song Am Lee,Jong Duk Kim,Dong Chan Kim 대한흉부외과학회 2011 Journal of Chest Surgery (J Chest Surg) Vol.44 No.5
Lymphangioma is a congenital malformation of the lymphatic system and is thought to result from the failure of the lymphatic system to connect with the venous system. Lymphangioma of the chest wall is a very rare disease entity, and only a few cases have ever been documented in the literature. To the best of our knowledge, there have been few cases of recurrent cavernous lymphangioma after surgical excision of a cystic hygroma on the same side of the chest wall. Here, we report a case of a cavernous lymphangioma of the chest wall in a patient who had undergone surgical excision of a cystic hygroma 19 years earlier.

With globalization of the commodity trade cultural exchange also create. Soju in Korea as a commodity is the totality of Korean culture simply rather than beverage alcohol. Its values from the globalization model are economic, health and environmental benefits like as good quality of Soju, prevention of drinking problems experienced, and exchange of know-how of bottle sharing and redemption management in Korea. In other words, those are substitution of illigal low-quality liquor, spread of health ideas, and leading the environmental values in the countries entered. Soju makers in Korea simply not sold, should be to exchange social values with importing countries. The findings of this study is that current attractive countries are 11 countries, growing countries are 5, and 2 countries are priority target. Entry strategy for China and Vietnam as a case study was performed SWOT analysis. Stakeholders" role model is especially necessary for the inclusion of social values. Globalization may be failed if the firms entered only for the economic benefits in the market. Exporters based on the experience of trying to create the socio-cultural and environmental values in the local market will be succeed. In addition, concerns for socio-economic level of the market, alcohol policy, and drinking culture etc. in the countries entered is very important for the successful globalization and sustainable development.
High EGFR gene copy number predicts poor outcome in triple-negative breast cancer
Park, Heae Surng,Jang, Min Hye,Kim, Eun Joo,Kim, Hyun Jeong,Lee, Hee Jin,Kim, Yu Jung,Kim, Jee Hyun,Kang, Eunyoung,Kim, Sung-Won,Kim, In Ah,Park, So Yeon Springer Science and Business Media LLC 2014 Modern pathology Vol.27 No.9

Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) is frequently overexpressed in triple-negative breast cancer and is emerging as a therapeutic target. EGFR gene copy number alteration and mutation are highly variable and scientists have been challenged to define their prognostic significance in triple-negative breast cancer. We examined EGFR protein expression, EGFR gene copy number alteration and mutation of exon 18 to 21 in 151 cases of triple-negative breast cancer and correlated these findings with clinical outcomes. In addition, intratumoral agreement of EGFR protein overexpression and gene copy number alteration was evaluated. EGFR overexpression was found in 97 of 151 cases (64%) and high EGFR gene copy number was detected in 50 cases (33%), including 3 gene amplification (2%) and 47 high polysomy (31%). Five EGFR mutations were detected in 4 of 151 cases (3%) and included G719A in exon 18 (n=1), V786M in exon 20 (n=1), and L858R in exon 21 (n=3). One case had two mutations (G719A and L858R). High EGFR copy number, but not EGFR mutation, correlated with EGFR protein overexpression. Intratumoral heterogeneity of EGFR protein overexpression and EGFR copy number alteration was not significant. In survival analyses, high EGFR copy number was found to be an independent prognostic factor for poor disease-free survival in patients with triple-negative breast cancer. Our findings showed that EGFR mutation was a rare event, but high EGFR copy number was relatively frequent and correlated with EGFR overexpression in triple-negative breast cancer. Moreover, high EGFR copy number was associated with poor clinical outcome in triple-negative breast cancer, suggesting that evaluation of EGFR copy number may be useful for predicting outcomes in patients with triple-negative breast cancer and for selecting patients for anti-EGFR-targeted therapy.

Films, Television programs and Games Intersection, as the name suggests, means interactive combination of cinema and game. Specifically, it includes transforming films and TV series into mobile game, web game, client game, etc., and vice versa. In line with the hot and rapid development of film & television industry and Internet game industry, the best connection between them is exactly the “Films, Television programs and Games Intersection”. On one hand, it helps to promote films and TV series via the game industry and create new source of revenue growth, on the other hand, it adds to games` public awareness and reputation via the public entertaining and mass communication features of films and TV series, thus bettering earnings of these games. After introduced to China, however, this mode has a completely different look as China`s mobile games feature short development cycle, low production cost and various profit channels. In this light, it can be called “Films, Television programs and Games Intersection with Chinese Characteristics”.
