        Research on the Compensation Method for the Measurement Error of Cycloidal Gear Tooth Flank

        In the precision measurement of the tooth flank of cycloidal gear, there are many reasons that affect the measurement accuracy. Amongthe reasons, the alignment angle error of the gear axis play an important role in the measurement results of the profile and tooth tracedeviations of the tooth flank. According to the measurement theory of the cycloidal gear, the mathematics model of the tooth flankis established. Based on the measurement process of the profile and tooth trace deviations by the gear measuring machine, acompensation method for the alignment angle error of the gear axis that included in the measurement results is designed. Somesimulation experiments were done to verify the proposed method. Experimental results show that after compensation, the alignmentangle error of the gear axis reduces significantly, more than 80% of the alignment angle error in profile deviation and more than 74%of the alignment angle error in tooth trace deviation is compensated by the method. The proposed method is helpful to improve themeasurement accuracy of the cycloidal gear.

        Ginsenoside compound K reduces ischemia/reperfusion-induced neuronal apoptosis by inhibiting PTP1B-mediated IRS1 tyrosine dephosphorylation

        Background: Ginsenoside compound K (CK) stimulated activation of the PI3K-Akt signaling is one of the major mechanisms in promoting cell survival after stroke. However, the underlying mediators remain poorly understood. This study aimed to explore the docking protein of ginsenoside CK mediating the neuroprotective effects. Materials and methods: Molecular docking, surface plasmon resonance, and cellular thermal shift assay were performed to explore ginsenoside CK interacting proteins. Neuroscreen-1 cells and middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) model in rats were utilized as in-vitro and in-vivo models. Results: Ginsenoside CK interacted with recombinant human PTP1B protein and impaired its tyrosine phosphatase activity. Pathway and process enrichment analysis confirmed the involvement of PTP1B and its interacting proteins in PI3K-Akt signaling pathway. PTP1B overexpression reduced the tyrosine phosphorylation of insulin receptor substrate 1 (IRS1) after oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation (OGD/R) in neuroscreen-1 cells. These regulations were confirmed in the ipsilateral ischemic hemisphere of the rat brains after MCAO/R. Ginsenoside CK treatment reversed these alterations and attenuated neuronal apoptosis. Conclusion: Ginsenoside CK binds to PTP1B with a high affinity and inhibits PTP1B-mediated IRS1 tyrosine dephosphorylation. This novel mechanism helps explain the role of ginsenoside CK in activating the neuronal protective PI3K-Akt signaling pathway after ischemia-reperfusion injury.

        Ginsenoside Rd protects cerebral endothelial cells from oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation induced pyroptosis via inhibiting SLC5A1 mediated sodium influx

        Background: Ginsenoside Rd is a natural compound with promising neuroprotective effects. However, the underlying mechanisms are still not well-understood. In this study, we explored whether ginsenoside Rd exerts protective effects on cerebral endothelial cells after oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation (OGD/R) treatment and its potential docking proteins related to the underlying regulations. Method: Commercially available primary human brain microvessel endothelial cells (HBMECs) were used for in vitro OGD/R studies. Cell viability, pyroptosis-associated protein expression and tight junction protein degradation were evaluated. Molecular docking proteins were predicted. Subsequent surface plasmon resonance (SPR) technology was utilized for validation. Flow cytometry was performed to quantify caspase-1 positive and PI positive (caspase-1+/PI+) pyroptotic cells. Results: Ginsenoside Rd treatment attenuated OGD/R-induced damage of blood-brain barrier (BBB) integrity in vitro. It suppressed NLRP3 inflammasome activation (increased expression of NLRP3, cleaved caspase-1, IL-1β and GSDMD-N terminal (NT)) and subsequent cellular pyroptosis (caspase-1+/PI + cells). Ginsenoside Rd interacted with SLC5A1 with a high affinity and reduced OGD/R-induced sodium influx and potassium efflux in HBMECs. Inhibiting SLC5A1 using phlorizin suppressed OGD/R-activated NLRP3 inflammasome and pyroptosis in HBMECs. Conclusion: Ginsenoside Rd protects HBMECs from OGD/R-induced injury partially via binding to SLC5A1, reducing OGD/R-induced sodium influx and potassium efflux, thereby alleviating NLRP3 inflammasome activation and pyroptosis.

        A Study on Zheng Mengzhou’s Confucianism

        鄭夢周是韓國麗末鮮初之際一位重要的儒學家。本論文從旁人對鄭夢周的評价中, 從鄭夢周的詩詞中, 以及鄭夢周的節義精神中探討了鄭夢周的性理學思想及其學術和社會价値。牧隱是鄭夢周的好友, 他曾推薦鄭夢周在成均館敎授性理學, 對鄭夢周的學術思想深爲了解。李穑爲鄭夢周作詩五首, 書、記各一篇, 這些記錄充分說明了一個事實, 卽鄭夢周是硏究理學(性理學)的鼻祖。此外硏究鄭夢周的性理學思想, 主要是依据他的詩文。鄭夢周的詩, 不僅對人有重要影響作用, 而且還被選入由中國文人編的詩集中。這些都說明他一方面對朱熹理學思想做了闡釋, 另一方面對程朱易學思想也做了繼承。不僅如此, 他還充分發揚了孔孟儒學思想, 在韓國儒思想發展史上占有擧足輕重的地位。 Zheng Mengzhou is an important Confucian between the end of Koryo Dynasty and the beginning of Korea. This article explores Zheng Mengzhou’s thoughts of Xing Li Xue (Theory of Human Nature and Principle) and its academic and social value, based on other people’s evaluation, his poetry and his Spirit of Principle and Justice. As a good friend and with a deep understanding of Zheng Mengzhou’s academic thoughts, Mu Yin recommended Zheng Mengzhou to teach Xing Li Xue (Theory of Human Nature and Principle) at Sungkyunkwan. Li Qiang wrote five poems, one article and jotting for Zheng Mengzhou. These records sufficiently explained the fact that Zheng Mengzhou was the originator of the study of Xing Li Xue (Theory of Human Nature and Principle). Besides, the main basis of the study of Zheng Mengzhou’s thoughs of Xing Li Xue is his poems and articles. His poems not only had an important impact on people, but also were edited in Collections of Poems by Chinese literator. All these illustrate that he explained Zhu Xi’s thoughts of Li Xue, on the one hand, and inherited Chengzhu’s thoughts of Yi theory, on the other. Besides, he also carried forward Confucianism and occupied a pivotal position in the development of Korean Confucianism. [Article in Chinese]

        A Study on the Confucianism in 17th Century Between China and Japan

        “氣”學是中日儒學的一個重要方面。本文試圖通過對中國王夫之(公元1619—1692年)和日本伊藤仁齋(公元1627—1705年)氣學思想的論述, 闡明17 世紀中日氣學的發展並對中國和日本氣學的價值進行比較。17世紀中日儒學史上, 氣學作為一種重要的哲學思潮, 出現在中國和日本社會。它們同屬於氣學範疇, 這是它們的共性。但是, 由於17 世紀的中國和日本不同的社會背景、歷史條件、文化積澱而造成了中國和日本儒學史上的氣學的發展方式、理論形態和價值取向的不同。這又是它們的殊性。 This article point out that QiXue is the important representation of Chinese Philosophy thinking during the 17th century, which through comparison and researches between China and Japan during their 17th century.         Nonlinear Diffusion and Structure Tensor Based Segmentation of Valid Measurement Region from Interference Fringe Patterns on Gear Systems

        The extraction of the valid measurement region from the interference fringe pattern is a significant stepwhen measuring gear tooth flank form deviation with grazing incidence interferometry, which will affectthe measurement accuracy. In order to overcome the drawback of the conventionally used method in whichthe object image pattern must be captured, an improved segmentation approach is proposed in this paper. The interference fringe patterns feature, which is smoothed by the nonlinear diffusion, would be extractedby the structure tensor first. And then they are incorporated into the vector-valued Chan-Vese model toextract the valid measurement region. This method is verified in a variety of interference fringe patterns,and the segmentation results show its feasibility and accuracy.

        Colour Linear Array Image Enhancement Method with Constant Colour

        Digital images of cultural relics captured using line scan cameras present limitations due to uneven intensity and low contrast. To address this issue, this report proposes a colour linear array image enhancement method that can maintain a constant colour. First, the colour linear array image is converted from the red–green–blue (RGB) colour space into the hue–saturation–intensity colour space, and the three components of hue, saturation, and intensity are separated. Subsequently, the hue and saturation components are held constant while the intensity component is processed using the established intensity compensation model to eliminate the uneven intensity of the image. On this basis, the contrast of the intensity component is enhanced using an improved local contrast enhancement method. Finally, the processed image is converted into the RGB colour space. The experimental results indicate that the proposed method can significantly improve the visual effect of colour linear array images. Moreover, the objective quality evaluation parameters are improved compared to those determined using existing methods.

        Calcium signalling mediated the regulation of growth and polysaccharide accumulation by light quality in Dendrobium offi cinale protocorms

        This study selected Dendrobium offi cinale protocorms as the experimental material and used diff erent light-quality treatmentsand calcium signalling inhibitors to explore the mechanism of the biological response of calcium to light quality. The results indicate that a 1:3 red:blue (R:B) light ratio promotes the accumulation of biomass and polysaccharides in theprotocorm. Nevertheless, this eff ect can be entirely counteracted by calmodulin (CaM) inhibitors and calcium ion-chelatingagents. The possible mechanisms of this eff ect are as follows: (1) The Ca 2+ -CaM signal-regulated photosynthetic apparatusis improved by the R:B 1:3 light, increasing the CaM content and Ca 2+ -ATPase activity. Thus, R:B 1:3 light increases thedevelopment of the photosynthetic apparatus in the D. offi cinale protocorm, enhances its photosynthetic productivity, andpromotes the activities of sucrose phosphatase; accordingly, biomass and sucrose accumulation increase. (2) R:B 1:3 lightenhances Ca 2+ -CaM signalling and regulates glycometabolic processes to promote the activities of sucrose synthase, thusincreasing fructose and glucose levels and providing suffi cient synthetic precursors to promote polysaccharide production.

      • Influence of the Donor Side of Photosystem II on the Photogeneration of Superoxide Radicals and Chlorophyll a Fluorescence

        Direct EPR evidence of the photo-generation of superoxide radicals ( $O_2$$^{-.}$) was obtained by using spin trapping techniques in spinach photosystem II (PSII) membranes. $O_2$$^{-.}$ was detected by following the formation of 5-diethoxyphosphoryl-5-methyl-1 -pyrroline-N-oxide (DEPMPO) superoxide adducts, DEPMPO-OOH. The significant increase of the EPR signal amplitude of DEPMPO-OOH in N$H_2O$H-, CaC $l_2$- and NaCl-treated PSII membranes showed that the oxygen-evolving system has a close relation to the $O_2$$^{-.}$ production. PSII membranes with inactivated donor side could not prevent the $O_2$$^{-.}$ production efficiently. Treatments on PSII donor side also influence the maximum level and the kinetics of Chlorophyll (Chi) a fluorescence. Results suggested that manganese cluster and extrinsic proteins might affect Chi a fluorescence in ways different from that happens at the acceptor side of PSII.SII.SII.
