강성권 ( Kang¸ Sung Kwon ),홍진곤 ( Hong¸ Jin-kon ) 한국수학교육학회 2020 수학교육논문집 Vol.34 No.4
The purpose of this study is to analyze of the effect in Mathematics Teachers beliefs on their students beliefs by Latent Class Regression Model (LCRM). For this analysis, the study used the findings and surveys of Kang, Hong (2020) who developed a belief profile by analyzing the mathematical beliefs of 60 high school teachers and 1,850 second-year high school students learning from them through the Latent Class Analysis (LCA). As a result It was observed that ‘Nature of Mathematics’, ‘Mathematic Teaching’ and ‘Mathematical Ability’ of mathematics teachers beliefs influence the mathematical beliefs of students. The teacher's belief of ‘Nature of Mathematics’ statistically significant effects on students' beliefs in 'School Mathematics', 'Problem Solving', 'Mathematics Learning'. The teacher's belief of ‘Teaching Mathematics’ ,‘Mathematical Ability’ statistically significant effects on students' beliefs in 'School Mathematics', 'Problem Solving', ‘Self-Concept’. The results of this study can give a preview of the phenomenon in which teacher's mathematical beliefs are reproduced into student's mathematical beliefs. In addition, the results of observation of this study can be used to the contents that can achieve the purpose of reorientation for mathematics teachers.
Short‑Term Load Forecasting Based on Deep Neural Networks Using LSTM Layer
Bo‑Sung Kwon,Rae‑Jun Park,Kyung‑Bin Song 대한전기학회 2020 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.15 No.4
Short-term load forecasting (STLF) is essential for power system operation. STLF based on deep neural network using LSTM layer is proposed. In order to apply the forecasting method to STLF, the input features are separated into historical and prediction data. Historical data are input to long short-term memory (LSTM) layer to model the relationships between past observed data. The outputs of the LSTM layer are incorporated with outputs of fully-connected layer in which prediction data, for instance weather information for forecasting day, are input. The optimal parameters of the proposed forecasting method are selected following several experiment. The proposed method is expected to contribute to stable power system operation by providing a precise load forecasting.

Motivated by the field experimental designs in agriculture, the theory of block designs has been applied to several areas such as statistics, combinatorics, communication networks, distributed systems, cryptography, etc. An explicit formula and its fast computational algorithm for a class of symmetric balanced incomplete block designs are presented. Based on the formula and the careful investigation of the modulus multiplication table, the algorithm is developed. The computational costs of the algorithm is superior to those of the conventional ones.

We hypothesized that supplementing finishing diets with palm oil would promote adipogenic gene expression but depress stearoyl-CoA desaturase (SCD) gene expression in intramuscular (i.m.) adipose tissues of Hanwoo steers during fattening period (from 16 to 32 mon of age). Fourteen Hanwoo steers were allotted randomly to 2 groups of 7 steers based on initial BW and fed either a basal diet (control) or the basal diet supplemented with 5% palm oil (BDSP). At slaughter, i.m. adipose tissue was harvested for analysis of adipogenic gene expression and fatty acid composition. There were no differences in BW or average daily gain between treatment groups. Supplemental palm oil had no effect on carcass quality traits (carcass weight, backfat thickness, loin muscle area, or marbling scores) or meat color values. Palm oil increased (p
The Structural Features and Rotational Barriers in Indenyl Allyl Metal Complexes
Sungkwon Kang Korean Chemical Society 1989 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.10 No.6
The electronic structure, conformational preferences, and rotational barriers have been studied for transition metal indenyl allyl complexes by means of extended Huckel calculations. After geometrical optimization the exo conformation of allyl moiety is favored over the endo. The rotational barrier of indenyl ring in (Indenyl)Mo(CO)_2(Allyl)$ is computed to be 3.8 kcal/mol. Population analysis is applied to account for the conformational preferences and rotational barriers. A series of substituted allyl complexes has been also optimized. It shows steric hindrance plays a crucial role in setting the allyl orientation.

<P> Using the planar lipid bilayer method, we investigated the effect of d-tubocurarine (dTC) on the extracellular side of large-conductance Ca2+-activated K+ channel from rat brain. When the initial open probability (Po) of the channel was relatively high, dTC decreased channel activity in a concentration dependent manner. In contrast, when the initial Po was lower, sub-micro molar dTC increased channel activity by destabilizing the closed states of the channel. Further addition of dTC up to micro molar range decreased channel activity. This dual effect of dTC implicates that there exist at least two different binding sites for dTC.

The mid-1990s has witnessed an increased interest in the use of rocket-grade hydrogen peroxide as an alternative propellant because of its nontoxic, storable characteristics. For the attitude control systems of launch vehicles or the main engine of a spacecraft, a 1200 N-class vacuum thrust-class staged-bipropellant combustor was developed and tested with the aim of investigating an axial fuel injector integrated with a distributor. The fuel injector was tested to evaluate the influence of the designed injector on thruster performance with respect to the equivalence ratio, pattern of fuel injection orifices, and characteristic length, L*. Firing tests were performed over a wide range of equivalence ratios (0.26-1.86) and autoignition was successfully achieved under all experimental conditions. The pressure rising time from the monopropellant to bipropellant mode and the pressure fluctuation in the combustion chamber were approximately 60 ㎳ and less than ±2.2%, respectively. The performance results included a thrust of approximately 920 N, characteristic velocity, C*, and specific impulse, I sp, efficiencies of approximately 95% and 91%, respectively.
