        Increasing concern about a rice quality, it is considered postharvest technology as well as cultivation management as an important factor. Therefore it is necessary to find optimal drying, storage method that did not affected a rice quality. In order to find the optimum storage period of rice, the rice quality was investigated during storage period. The temperature and humidity of storage bin were greatly changed but those of rice were a little do. The germination rate was slowly decreased as the storage period is long. The content of moisture was affected by a room temperature, it was increased at stored rice in rainy season(10-Jul~20-Jul). As storage period is long, the content of amylose, fatty acidity were a just Little changed but did not showed a constant tendency to it. The content of protein was increased and mechanic palatability value was decreased during storage period. The chromaticity of milled rice showed a range of lightness(L); 75.15~71.75, redness(a); 0.21~0.91, yellowness(b); 16.78~19.28 during storage period.

      • 지속적 및 간헐적 가압력이 배양 치주인대세포의 Alkaline Phosphatase 활성도에 미치는 영향

        지속적 및 간헐적인 가압력이 배양치주인대 세포의 ALP 활성도에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 치주인대세포를 24well 배양접시에 배양한 후 밀생상태가 되었을 때, 세포배양기속의 특수제작된 사각상자의 배양접시를 넣은 후 실험 기간동안 300g/㎠의 압력을 지속적으로 가한 군, 그리고 300g/㎠의 압력을 10분간 가압시킨 후 10분간 가압이 중지되도록한 간헐적 가압군, 그리고 압력을 가하지 않은 군을 대조군으로 하여 각각 실험 24시간, 48시간, 72시간 후의 alkaline phosphatase의 활성도를 측정하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. . 가압 24시간 군에서는 간헐적 가압군이 대조군에 비하여 ALP활성도가 낮게 나타났다(P<0.05). . 가압 48시간 군에서는 실험군은 대조군에 비하여 ALP 활성도에 유의한 차이는 나타나지 않았다. . 가압 72시간 군에서는 지속적 가압군이 대조군에 비하여 ALP 활성도가 높게 나타났다(P<0.01). The propose of this study was to evaluate the effect of cellular activity on PDL cells dependent on intermittent and continuous compressive force by determining the alkaline phosphatase activity. An intermittent and continuous compressive forces were applied on PDL cells at the confluent stage. The alkaline phosphatase activity was measured on control and experimental groups every 24, 48, 72hours. The experimental group were consist of continuous and intermittent compressive group which were compressed by 300g/㎠ of diaphram pump. The intermittent compressive group was connected by timer which was worked on 10 minutes and off 10 minutes. The results were as follows; . The alkaline phosphatase activity of intermittent compressive group was lower than control group at 24 hours(P<0.05). . The alkalime phosphatase activity between each groups showed no significant differences at 48 hourse. . The alkaline phosphatase actiity of continuous compresssive group was significantly higher than control group at 72 hours(P<0.01).

        석회화치성낭양 변화를 동반한 법랑모세포섬유치아종

        Thirteen-year-old girl complaining of the swelling and pain on the left midface visited our dental hospital. On the radiogaphic examination, well-defined radiolucent lesion with hyperostotic border was found in the left maxilla accompanying with the external root resorption of the involved teeth and the displaced second molar. CT showed calcified bodies, thinning of hard palate, inferior orbital wall and lateral wall of nasal fossa, and thinning and perforation of the buccal plate of the maxilla. Enucleation and curettage of the lesion and nasoantrostomy was carried out and histopathologic examination mainly showed a solid tumor tissue composed of odontogenic epithelium and pulp tissues admixed with dentin and enamel formation. And some part of reduced follicular epithelium of tooth germ showed a change mimicking calcifying odontogenic cyst, Taken together, we concluded the lesion is an ameloblastic fibro-odontoma with a change of calcifying odontogenic cyst.       • 大單位 아파트團地의 配電方式의 改善에 關한 硏究

        This paper presents an improved extra-high voltage distribution system on the large scale apartment site. In this paper, we are attempting to step up feeder voltage to 22.9KV from the established voltage, 6.6KV between distribution lines. For this application, the third Panpo Apartment Site is sampled as a case. Amount of power distribution loss and its construction cost are calculated by digital computer. The results showed that amount of power distribution loss was reduced by 0.73%, from 4.62% to 3.8%, and construction cost by the reduction of facilities was curtailed by 0.7% less than that of the existing system. From these results, we suggest strongly that the improved distribution system may be used to reduce distribution loss and construction cost on the large scale apartment area in the near future.

      • Thermus caldophilus GK24 DNA Polymerase를 이용한 Polymerase Chain Reaction의 최적조건

        A thermostable DNA polymerase was used in an in vitro amplification procedure, the polymerase chain reaction(PCR). Thermus caldophilus GK24(Tca) DNA polymerase greatly simplifies the procedure and, by enabling the amplificatioin reaction to be performed at higher temperature, significantly improves the specificity, yield and sensitivity. The optimal conditions for PCR were investigated in terms of pH range, MgCl_2, KCl and DTT concentration using the purified Tca DNA polymerase. The optimal pH for DNA amplification was found to be between 8.6, and 9.2 in 50mM Tris-HCl buffer. The optimal concentrations of MgCl_2 and KCl for PCR were 1-1.5mM and 10-50mM, respectively. The concentration of DTT above 0.5mM was sufficient to amplify template DNA by PCR. These conditions can be used to amplify a wide range of target sequences with excellent specificity.

        악교정 환자의 악교정 수술전후 발음양상에 대한 비교연구

        The purpose of this study was undertaken to determine the effects of orthognathic surgery on speech. The hyposis stated herein is that functional behaviors of the dentofacial complex, such as speech production, may be adversely affected by deviations of a structural nature(especially, Class III malocclusion) . Twenty adults with Class III malocclusion(13 female and 7 male) were studied preoperative, immediate postoperative and either 6 or 12 months postoperative lateral cephalograms. They had mandibular prognathism and had undergone mandible setback operation. The position of tongue, soft palate(Uvula), hyoid bone, respiratory track width, and pharyngeal depth were assessed on lateral cephalograms with 23 cephalometric variables, ANOVA, Paired t-tests and Pearson's product-moment correlation coefficient tests were used to evalute the operative changes in all cephalometric parameters. A experienced speech and language pathologists performed narrow phonetic transcriptions of tape-recorded words and sentences produced by each of the ninth patients and the recording tapes were analyzed by phonetic computer program(Computerized Speech Lab(CSL) Model 4300BI(U.S.A.)) These judges also recorded their ratings of each patient's overall consonants, hypernasality, hyponasality, and articulation proficiency. The results obtained are as follows ; 1.There were significant changes in distance of posterior pharyngeal wall to tongue (TI-TW2, TS-TW3) after the surgery at 6 months postoperatively(each p<0.01 p<0.05) 2.The posterior tongue point(TI, TS, PPT) moved posteriorly after surgery and remained to its changed position at 6 months postoperatively(p<0.05) . The displacement of tongue was correlated with the movement of mandibular setback amount(p<0.05). The hyoid bone moved posteriorly superiorly after immediate postoperative period. There was significant changes in hyoid bone movement after immediated post-operative period(p<0.05), but returned to its original position during the follow-up period(p>0.05) 3.The soft palate was displaced posteriorly superiorly after immediated operative period and remained to its changed position at 6 months postoperatively(p<0.05) ANS-PNS-SPT angle increasing, PPU-PPPo distance narrowing was showed after surgery, and remained its appearance 6 months postoperactively (p<0.05) 4.There were significant changes in formant value and squre diagram of vowel sound after the orthognathic surgery and the follow-up period. There were significant changes in /ㅅ/sound and posterior tongue sound. 5.The posterior movement of tongue and the posteriosuperior movement of soft palate was correlated with mandibular setback amount after orthognathic surgery. On the vowel squre diagram, the author found that the place of articulation after operation moved downward, backward, upward. 6.In assessing speech abnormalities, dental occlusion should be considered as a contributing factor. The vast majority of subjects with preoperactive misarticulations eliminated or reduced their errors following orthognathic surgery. There was significant difference in speech impovement between pre- and post-operation.

      • 제지폐수처리용 생물고분자응집제를 생산하는 Bacillus sp. K-111의 배양특성조사

        Flocculant-producing microorganisms were screened from obtained strains in the laboratory using a pulp-wastewater treatment as the flocculating agent. K-111 strain that had high flocculating activity among them was selected and identified as Bacillus sp. K-111 16s rDNA sequencing. The favorable medium for the production of flocculant was glucose 1.5%, NH_4NO_3 0.2%, tryptone 0.01%, K_2HPO_4 0.08%, KH_2PO_4 0.06%, CaCO_3 0.03%, MgSO_4·7H_2O 0.005%, MnSO_4 0.005% in 1 liter of D.W. at initial pH 7.0. The optimum culture temperature and pH were 30℃ and pH 7.0, respectively. the flocculating activity was observed most highly after 36 to 48 hr of cultivation at the optimum conditions. the flocculating activity of produced biopolymer on optimum conditions was about 2.5-fold higher than that of screening medium.

        Diagnostic membranes which were made of polyurethanes were prepared to measure the concentration of glucose in solution. The effect of possible interferents in human blood on the reactions between glucose and reductive enzymes were examined. Most of the interferents did not affect seriously on each glucose concentration.

      • 벼 담수산파 재배시 파종량·질소분시·물관리 방법의 차이가 생육 및 수량성에 미치는 영향

        This study was carried out to investigate in connection with seeding rate according to the fertilizer application method and water management in direct seeding on flooded paddy surface. The total nitrogen and chlorophyll contents was decreased as increasing amount of seeding. The total nitrogen and chlorophyll contents were high in the strong drainage methods than the custom water management. LAI and dry mater recording where the seeding amount will increase to the fertilizer application method it increases consequently were low tendency from the site which omits the omitted the top dressing at tillering stage. The number of panicles per square metre was increased according to amount of seeding, but the number of spikelets per panicle was decreased. When omitted the top dressing at tillering stage and increasing the amount of seeding, the rice yield was high and amount of seeding was 89 kg per hectare. The results indicate that increasing of seeding rate and omission of fertilizer application with strong drainage at tillering stage was to reduce field lodging degree, to economy of water culture and to save labor for fertilization.
