        The Associations between income, informal social networks, and health among older adults in South Korea: A multi‐group analysis based on the level of age‐friendly environments

        The aim of the present study was to empirically investigate the role of age-friendly environments (AFE) on the associations between income, informal social networks, and health among South Korean older adults. We used data from the “2017 Age Integration Survey” collected nationally and ultimately analyzed 615 older adults over 50 years of age. Structural equation modeling and multi-group analysis were used to test the hypothesis. Specifically, two groups of perceived levels of AFE (top 25%, bottom 25%) were compared in order to examine the moderating effects. The results indicated that poor income and scarce informal social networks each had a significantly adverse impact on health. However, the effect of income on health was no longer significant for older adults living in environments that were more age-friendly. In both groups, the presence of fewer informal social networks adversely impacted health, although the sizes of the effects decreased when the level of AFE perceived by older adults was improved. Finally, several implications of the study findings were discussed.

      • Ku 밴드 위성통신용 도파관 여파기 특성 해석

        In this paper, we presented the design method of transmitting waveguide filter for ku-band using impedance inverter based on the lowpass prototype·filter. Then, it was compared with the waveguide filter of the insertion loss method and we considered the designed data and gain characteristics. The waveguide filter using the impedance inverter is easy to design because the impedance value of first section is largest and decreases toward center section. On the other hand, since the impedance variation from one section to next sections is large in the waveguide filter of the insertion loss method, this design is more difficult than the design using the impedance inverter. Also, in the aspect of length, the waveguide filter of impedance inverter could be designed about of length, the waveguide filter of impedance inverter could be designed about 5㎝ shorter. In comparison of gain characteristics. this waveguide filter has a reflection loss that is about 20dB in passband, whereas the waveguide filter of insertion loss method has a good gain characteristic with about 40dB loss.

      • 可變周波 Inverter-switching回路特性에 關한 考察

        In recently owing to application of thyristor and transitor (Switching element), the study of thyristor inverter fed induction motor driving has proceed actively, and subustitued for system of variable speed control has used dc-motor in the past. Although thyristor inverter has many advantage in every respect, we must be considered two-troubles are torque ripple and increased of harmonic copper loss. Therefore we could be preventing against troublesome and eliminated obstacles. This paper described on the characteristics of PWM inverter and tried to research for the proper method to getting with permitted limit for driving in a good condition. By means of the reduction of commutation loss and harmonics copper loss in total, we obtained number of pulse M, could be reduced torque ripple and speed variation. We obtained the experimental results are as follows 1) Seek for number of pulse that commutation loss of inverter and harmonics copper loss of motor in total be getting reduced minimized value. 2) The torque ripple has increased sharp fluction in lower frequency region of inverter and as compared M = 3, 6, 9, when in number of pulse M = 12, the torque ripple varying less than other. 3) Speed variation has varied less than torque ripple except for M = 3. 4) The crest value of starting current has increased very large, when frequency of inverter were lower and number of pulse M has decreased.

        「윤선옥전」에 나타난 전란 피해 형상화의 특징과 그 의미

        이 글은 「윤선옥전」이 전란의 피해를 형상화한 방식과 그 의미를 살펴본 것이다. 현재 유일본인 김광순본 「윤선옥전」은 윤선옥의 일대기를 다루나, 그 내용은 윤선옥이 천정배필인 박소저와 혼인하는 것과 전란으로 인해 헤어졌다가 재회하는 것이 주를 이룬다. 이 글에서는 그 중 전란이 개인에게 준 상처 측면에 초점을 맞춰 이 작품을 읽어보고자 하였다. 「윤선옥전」은 함경북도 종성을 윤선옥의 고향이자 전란의 피해 지역으로 설정하고, 윤선옥의 부친이 전란을 평정한 후 본거지를 타지로 옮기는 모습을 보여준다. 이는 고향을 떠날 수밖에 없던 사람들의 모습을 보여주었다는 점과, 전란의 위협에 노출되어 있던 관북지역 모습을 소설에서 보여주었다는 점에서 의미가 있다. 또 「윤선옥전」은 가문의 대를 이어야 한다는 명분 아래 부부가 피난길에서 헤어지는 모습을 보여준다. 이로 인해 홀로 남겨진 부인이 실절의 위기 속에서 자결하는 모습과 홀로 도망간 남편이 이 선택에 대해 끊임없이 괴로워하는 모습을 그려낸다. 이는 전란과 가부장제 이데올로기 아래 이중으로 고통 받는 부부의 모습을 보여주었다는 점에서 의미가 있다. 또한 「윤선옥전」은 전란으로 헤어진 자녀와 부모가 서로에 대한 그리움으로 고통받는 모습을 반복적으로 보여줌으로써 전란이 개인의 삶에 가져온 상처를 핍진하게 드러낸다. 동시에 이 같은 가족에 대한 그리움을 초월적 존재의 도움과 함께 가족의 재회를 완성하게 하는 동인이 되게 함으로써 가족애를 부각하고 있다. 이처럼 「윤선옥전」은 전란이 개인에게 가져다 준 횡포와 고통에 대한 문학적 상상력을 확인할 수 있게 한다는 데 의미가 있다. This article examines the method and meaning of “Yoonseonokjeon” that embodies the damage of war. The main contents are about the process where Yoon Seon-ok gets married to Park's woman and meets Park's woman again after splitting due to war. Therefore, this article tried to read this work focusing on the wounds that the war inflicted on individuals. “Yoonseonokjeon” sets Jongseong, an area in North Hamgyeong Province affected by the war, as the hometown of Yun Seon-ok. It shows Yoon Seon-ok's father moving his stronghold to another place after pacifying the war. This is meaningful in that it shows the suffering of those who had no choice but to turn their backs on their hometown, and it shows that the Gwanbuk region was exposed to the threat of war. Also, “Yoonseonokjeon” shows the couple breaking up on the way to escape under the pretext of passing on the family line. It portrays a wife who is left alone on her own, committing suicide in the midst of loss, and her husband, who runs away alone, constantly blaming himself for this choice. This is meaningful in that it shows the image of a woman and man who go through double suffering due to the war and patriarchal ideology. In addition, “Yoonseonokjeon” reveals the scars that the war has brought to an individual's life by repeatedly showing the children and their parents who have been separated by the war, longing for each other. At the same time, family love is emphasized by making this longing for the family a driving force to complete a family reunion with the help of a transcendent existence.

      • 위성방송 중계기용 H면 다이플렉서 설계

        In this paper, we analyze H-plane T-junction using TE mode theory and design a diplexer for the broadcasting transponder of satellite. A diplexer is constructed by H-plane T-junction combined transmitting filter with receiving filter. These filters are designed by the insertion loss method. Matching elements are designed to reduce mismatching conditions on the discontinuity of T-junction, so that a diplexer is optimized and has the best property. An optimum diplexer has characteristics that reflected power is about -20dB in the receiving passband and the transmitting passband.

      • 高調波를 利用한 三相籠型 誘導電動機의 低速制御에 관한 연구

        본 논문은 3상농형유도전동기를 고조파와 불평형회전자계를 이용하여, 100~400rpm의 저속범위에서 원활하게 속도를 제어할 수 있음을 보여주고 있다. 고조파의 발생은 변압기의 철손과 전동기의 공극으로, 불평형회전자계는 SCR의 한방향만의 위상제어와 오실레이터의 on-off 제어주파수로써 만들어지고 있다. 이 방법은 문부하와 정격부하에서 잘 적용됨을 알 수 있었다. This paper presents the variable speed control of three phase inducation motor in the low region 100-400r.p.m. by using of the harmonics and unbalanced rotating magnetic field. The generation of harmonics is made from the iron loss of transformer and air gap space of motor, and the unbalanced rotating magnetic field from uni-direction phase chopping of SCR and on-off control of oscillator. The no load and full load condition is well satisfied by this techniques.

        Here we organize Diode tuning circuit by using Inductive Reactance Transistor(IRT) and Variable Capacitance Diode(VCD). 1. By substituting not only Emitter current Ie and tuning condenser Cr but also Cp by VCD, we can get the change of frequency of variable single tuned circuit. 2. We can get the quantities of Rp, Cp. Cr for the settled quantity factor(Q). 3. We here refere to the change of wide frequency and characteristic curve and circuit which keep the settled output voltage and quantity.

      • Fly-back Converter의 特性改善에 관한 硏究

        In this paper we have described on the characteristics of the fundamental behaviour for the flyback converter running, we tried to research for improvement method of the non-linear differental equations with small signal model, static characteristics and dynamic charaeteristics of transfer function. Experimental results are as follows ; 1. The experimental values of input-output voltage and load in accord with the calculated values nearly, under condition we could be maintained within the sphere of control and obtained characteristics of normal state. 2. On the frequency response for the variation of input voltage Vs output voltage, the cut-off frequency are lower than other converter system and flyback converter gain are larger than the others. 3. On the frequency response for the variation of load Vs output voltage, the cut-off frequency are lower than other converter system and flyback converter gain are larger than others. therefore, it showed clearly that in proportion to the variation of input voltage Vs output voltage could be reduced and improved to characteritics of the flyback converter driving in good condition against troubles and unstable phenomenon.

      • 위암환자의 피로와 영양상태의 관계

        Purpose. The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between fatigue and nutritional status in patients with gastric cancer. Design. A orrelational and crossectional study design was used Method. The data was collected from July to August 2002. 59 subjects with gastric cancer were recruited K university hospital in Busan, Korea. Fatigue was measured using the Revised Piper Fatigue Scale developed by Piper et. al (1998). The parameters for nutritional status included body weight, body mass index, hemoglobin, Hct, total protein, albumin and lymphocyte count. Result. 1) The fatigue score was mean 94.31±22.08(mean average 4.48±1.00) The subdimension that showed behavior/severity score at 34.15±8.76, cognitive/mood score at 22.00±7.93, sensory score at 21.67±5.56, and affective score at 20.81±6.69. And among the parameters for nutritional starus, BMI, Hb, Hct were not included normal rage. 2) There was a significant difference in present diet(F=3.343, P= .026) according to general characteristics in the fatigue in patients with gastric cancer. 3) The disease-related characteristics such as Age, treatment type, after period diagnosis, care giver, payment were frequently related to poorer nutritional status. Subjects received chemotherapy showed lower lymphocyte level than subjects received operation, and the subjects were diagnosis less than 1 month, were showed lower Hematocrete level. 4) There was a significant negative correlation between fatigue and nutritional status(r= -.371, P=.004). Conclusion. Patients with gastric cancer experience in fatigue. Considering the relationship between fatigue and nutritional status, nurses can identify the risk group most vulnerable to fatigue and malnourishment in order to provide appropriate interventions for them

      • 전통정신사상과 복식색의 치료효과와의 연관성

        As the traditional spiritual idea, Um-yang oh-hang is the fundamental belief which was developed in China and have played an important roll in the other areas such as understanding of the universe and system of consideration. And focusing on Yurk, people lately began take a look the traditional spiritual idea differently in terms of the guidance which may be able to lead the future of the present science and technology. When it comes to the clinical medicine treatment and the color therapy, we can easily find that it is already a common phenomenon to connect Yurk with other fields. The specific purposes of this study are as follows. 1. Taking Yurk's stands on objective subject, not ideological or horoscope science, this study is about to explain the meaning of Yurk through checking out its color such as Blue, Red, Yellow, White, Black. 2. This study review and organize Um-yang oh-hang and further more the roles of colors which are implied in Yurk and can be found in traditional clothes. And the main results of this study are as follows. 1. The plants which are using as five dye-stuff have some medical efficacies for internal organs. 2. Many similar mutual relations were found in between the five colors in Um-yang oh-hang and colors which is used for the color therapy in medical treatment in western as to the classification of colors for its effect on human organs. 3. It turns out the fortune colors in Yurk was the five colors which strengthen and vitalize Oh-hang. As a result, through this whole study, a medical treatment using the fortune colors and the unfortune colors in the traditional spiritual idea turned out it is not anything which is nonsense or shamanism, rather it is an actually reasonable and effective method in terms of its medical efficiency.
