        The Associations between income, informal social networks, and health among older adults in South Korea: A multi‐group analysis based on the level of age‐friendly environments

        The aim of the present study was to empirically investigate the role of age-friendly environments (AFE) on the associations between income, informal social networks, and health among South Korean older adults. We used data from the “2017 Age Integration Survey” collected nationally and ultimately analyzed 615 older adults over 50 years of age. Structural equation modeling and multi-group analysis were used to test the hypothesis. Specifically, two groups of perceived levels of AFE (top 25%, bottom 25%) were compared in order to examine the moderating effects. The results indicated that poor income and scarce informal social networks each had a significantly adverse impact on health. However, the effect of income on health was no longer significant for older adults living in environments that were more age-friendly. In both groups, the presence of fewer informal social networks adversely impacted health, although the sizes of the effects decreased when the level of AFE perceived by older adults was improved. Finally, several implications of the study findings were discussed.

        「윤선옥전」에 나타난 전란 피해 형상화의 특징과 그 의미

        이 글은 「윤선옥전」이 전란의 피해를 형상화한 방식과 그 의미를 살펴본 것이다. 현재 유일본인 김광순본 「윤선옥전」은 윤선옥의 일대기를 다루나, 그 내용은 윤선옥이 천정배필인 박소저와 혼인하는 것과 전란으로 인해 헤어졌다가 재회하는 것이 주를 이룬다. 이 글에서는 그 중 전란이 개인에게 준 상처 측면에 초점을 맞춰 이 작품을 읽어보고자 하였다. 「윤선옥전」은 함경북도 종성을 윤선옥의 고향이자 전란의 피해 지역으로 설정하고, 윤선옥의 부친이 전란을 평정한 후 본거지를 타지로 옮기는 모습을 보여준다. 이는 고향을 떠날 수밖에 없던 사람들의 모습을 보여주었다는 점과, 전란의 위협에 노출되어 있던 관북지역 모습을 소설에서 보여주었다는 점에서 의미가 있다. 또 「윤선옥전」은 가문의 대를 이어야 한다는 명분 아래 부부가 피난길에서 헤어지는 모습을 보여준다. 이로 인해 홀로 남겨진 부인이 실절의 위기 속에서 자결하는 모습과 홀로 도망간 남편이 이 선택에 대해 끊임없이 괴로워하는 모습을 그려낸다. 이는 전란과 가부장제 이데올로기 아래 이중으로 고통 받는 부부의 모습을 보여주었다는 점에서 의미가 있다. 또한 「윤선옥전」은 전란으로 헤어진 자녀와 부모가 서로에 대한 그리움으로 고통받는 모습을 반복적으로 보여줌으로써 전란이 개인의 삶에 가져온 상처를 핍진하게 드러낸다. 동시에 이 같은 가족에 대한 그리움을 초월적 존재의 도움과 함께 가족의 재회를 완성하게 하는 동인이 되게 함으로써 가족애를 부각하고 있다. 이처럼 「윤선옥전」은 전란이 개인에게 가져다 준 횡포와 고통에 대한 문학적 상상력을 확인할 수 있게 한다는 데 의미가 있다. This article examines the method and meaning of “Yoonseonokjeon” that embodies the damage of war. The main contents are about the process where Yoon Seon-ok gets married to Park's woman and meets Park's woman again after splitting due to war. Therefore, this article tried to read this work focusing on the wounds that the war inflicted on individuals. “Yoonseonokjeon” sets Jongseong, an area in North Hamgyeong Province affected by the war, as the hometown of Yun Seon-ok. It shows Yoon Seon-ok's father moving his stronghold to another place after pacifying the war. This is meaningful in that it shows the suffering of those who had no choice but to turn their backs on their hometown, and it shows that the Gwanbuk region was exposed to the threat of war. Also, “Yoonseonokjeon” shows the couple breaking up on the way to escape under the pretext of passing on the family line. It portrays a wife who is left alone on her own, committing suicide in the midst of loss, and her husband, who runs away alone, constantly blaming himself for this choice. This is meaningful in that it shows the image of a woman and man who go through double suffering due to the war and patriarchal ideology. In addition, “Yoonseonokjeon” reveals the scars that the war has brought to an individual's life by repeatedly showing the children and their parents who have been separated by the war, longing for each other. At the same time, family love is emphasized by making this longing for the family a driving force to complete a family reunion with the help of a transcendent existence.

      • 可變周波 Inverter-switching回路特性에 關한 考察

        In recently owing to application of thyristor and transitor (Switching element), the study of thyristor inverter fed induction motor driving has proceed actively, and subustitued for system of variable speed control has used dc-motor in the past. Although thyristor inverter has many advantage in every respect, we must be considered two-troubles are torque ripple and increased of harmonic copper loss. Therefore we could be preventing against troublesome and eliminated obstacles. This paper described on the characteristics of PWM inverter and tried to research for the proper method to getting with permitted limit for driving in a good condition. By means of the reduction of commutation loss and harmonics copper loss in total, we obtained number of pulse M, could be reduced torque ripple and speed variation. We obtained the experimental results are as follows 1) Seek for number of pulse that commutation loss of inverter and harmonics copper loss of motor in total be getting reduced minimized value. 2) The torque ripple has increased sharp fluction in lower frequency region of inverter and as compared M = 3, 6, 9, when in number of pulse M = 12, the torque ripple varying less than other. 3) Speed variation has varied less than torque ripple except for M = 3. 4) The crest value of starting current has increased very large, when frequency of inverter were lower and number of pulse M has decreased.

      • Ku 밴드 위성통신용 도파관 여파기 특성 해석

        In this paper, we presented the design method of transmitting waveguide filter for ku-band using impedance inverter based on the lowpass prototype·filter. Then, it was compared with the waveguide filter of the insertion loss method and we considered the designed data and gain characteristics. The waveguide filter using the impedance inverter is easy to design because the impedance value of first section is largest and decreases toward center section. On the other hand, since the impedance variation from one section to next sections is large in the waveguide filter of the insertion loss method, this design is more difficult than the design using the impedance inverter. Also, in the aspect of length, the waveguide filter of impedance inverter could be designed about of length, the waveguide filter of impedance inverter could be designed about 5㎝ shorter. In comparison of gain characteristics. this waveguide filter has a reflection loss that is about 20dB in passband, whereas the waveguide filter of insertion loss method has a good gain characteristic with about 40dB loss.

      • 誘導機의 直流制動特性 改善에 關한 考察

        Recently it has been used stator voltage control for Induction motor drive using Thyristor. In order to obtain the force of braking a large that bring it rapidly to standstill, acceration and reducing speed for motor drive repeatly and high degree of efficiency in good condition. Although it has many advantages in every respect, we must be considered about variation of operating point, the Delay-time of Thyristor and differential torque between DC and rectification current. In this paper we should compare with the characteristics of stator voltage control that it contained component of foundmental wave and DC current, tried to research for improvement of Dynamic braking. We have obtained experimental following results. 1.We have obtained a large braking torque in region of lower speed by variation of various Firing angle and inclined toward positive-phase torque in region of high speed, it couldn't generated torque of braking at point of S≤O. 35 in spite of variation of Firing angle. 2.By means of increasing secondary resistor only, we couldn't obtain satisfactable result and couldn't improve characteristics of braking for motor driving. But it could be raised in efficiency by combination of Shunt Thyristor with secondary resistor in parallel we must be take care of the value of secondary resistor, because it has dissipated power in region of high speed. 3.It has been improved to Dynamic braking for motor driving in high degree of efficiency by means of proper value of Firing angle and Extinction angle.

      • 위성방송 중계기용 H면 다이플렉서 설계

        In this paper, we analyze H-plane T-junction using TE mode theory and design a diplexer for the broadcasting transponder of satellite. A diplexer is constructed by H-plane T-junction combined transmitting filter with receiving filter. These filters are designed by the insertion loss method. Matching elements are designed to reduce mismatching conditions on the discontinuity of T-junction, so that a diplexer is optimized and has the best property. An optimum diplexer has characteristics that reflected power is about -20dB in the receiving passband and the transmitting passband.

      • 화학적 변성전분 및 라면 전분질의 In Vitro 소화율

        식품에 사용되는 화학적 변성전분류와 acetyl화 전분이 사용된 라면의 돼지 췌장 a-amylase에 의한 in vistro소화율 (37℃에서 6시간)을 비교하였다. Native potato starch와 acetylated potato starch의 가수분해율은 각각 64.5%와 59.3%, native와 hydroxypropylated corn starch는 70.5%와 60.4%, 그리고 native와 hydroxypropylated corn starch는 70.5%와 60.4% 그리고 native와 hydroxypropylated high amylose corn starch는 65.2%와 57.3%로서 native한 것들이 유도체들보다 높았다. Waxy corn starch들의 소화율은 pregelatinized(74.3%)>native(72.1%)>acetylated(66.5%)>acetyl distarch adipate(56.4%)hydroxypropyl distarch phosphate(50.7%)의 순으로 감소하였다. 국내에서 생산, 판매되고 있는 5개 회사의 봉지라면과 용기라면에 대한 실험에서는 실제 조리조건에서 소화율에 유의적 차이를 보이지 않았다. 결론적으로 화학적 변성전분의 소화율은 천연전분보다 낮지만 상용식품에서의 사용량이 매주 낮으므로 식품 섭취에 따른 전분질의 소화율에서 큰 영향을 미치지 않을 것으로 판단된다. The hydrolyzability of chemically modified starches and ramen staches was determined by hog pancreatic a-amylase in vistro test. The extents of hydrolysis were 64.5% and 59.3% in native and acetylated potato starch, 70.5% and 60.4% in native and hydroxypropylated corn starch, and 65.2% and 57.3% in native and hydroxypropylated high amylose corn starch, respectively. The hydrolysis extents of waxy corn starch derivatives were shown in the descending order of pregelatinized (74.3%)>native (72.1%)>acetylated (66.5%)>acetyl distarch adiphate (56.4%)>hydroxypropyl distarch phosphate (50.7%). In the test on starches of container and regular ramen cooked by practical way, no significant difference was observed between ramen products of five different makers. Althrough the hydrolysis rate and extent of chemically modified starches were lower than those of native starches, the digestibility of ramen seemed to be not affected in the common diet as the use level of modified starch was relatively low.

        Because of their mental and physical challenge, children who suffer from cerebral palsy are mentally passive and face many different restrictions in their lives. To help them lead their life in this challenging social environment, psychology rehabilitation should be applied to such patients to restore their damaged egos and improve social adaptability. Young patients of cerebral palsy are socially passive, apathetic, and unable to express emotions in appropriate ways. Through engaging in artistic expression, which a type of non-verbal communication, they get an opportunity to ventilate their repressed emotions in proper ways as well as learning communication skills. Artistic expression therapy uses arts as a medium for psychological rehabilitation. It objectifies patients egos and these egos expand and express themselves in the form of artworks. Artistic activities stimulate cerebral palsy patients' curiosity about the surrounding environment and motivation for interactive communication, both of which greatly affect patients' comprehensive growth as harmonious social beings. A large number of children who suffer from cerebral palsy lack social intelligence. Also, the direction they pursue can be characterized as egocentric rather than as acculturation. Therefore, while they understand and enjoy arts, it is crucial to encourage social interactions and enlighten them with an insight to see through the environment they live in. The purpose of arts therapy is not to cure cerebral palsy patients but to link them to the outside world by making them aware of-and finally accept-their isolated lives as what they are. Similar to those in real life, various experiences of materials and activities can offer patients opportunities to deal with different situations and improve their adaptability with no real-life dangers. Also, through arts therapy, patients learn socially appropriate rules, sense of values, and mode of behavior. It prevents social regression and improves social adaptability and sense of self, which ultimately facilitates patients' rehabilitation.

      • Thyristor Inverter에 依한 誘導電動機의 運轉特性에 關한 小考

        It has been considered the steady-state and transient characteristics of an induction motor driven by Thyristor inverter. On the other hand, Thyristor inverter has many advantages in every respect, simplified in circuit, it could be abbreviated other element and widely used normal Thyristor instead of special Thryistor for consist of device. But in respect of practical use and increased electric capacity, it must be need of high voltage Thyri stor When induction motor driven open-loop system, this equipment has some troubles occurred with easily that instability by in proportion as variation of frequency Thyristor inverter. Therefore in this paper described on the operation and characteristics of turn-off action of the Thyristor inverter. I tried to search for the effects of impulse response by overshooting and various parameter that the stability of induction motor driven by Thyristor inverter. I have used method of Root-locus and impulse response for slip or frequency parameter in order to distinguished on stability. Consequently we could be preventing against trouble some of instability. Merely there is something yet to loam that learn proper value of turn-off condenser capacity for reduced terminal voltage swing upward rapidly.
