        독활 에탄올 추출물의 대장암 세포에서 Cyclin D1 단백질 분해 유도를 통한 세포 생육 억제활성

        Background: In this study, we evaluated the anti-cancer activity and potential molecular mechanism of 70% ethanol extracts of the root of Aralia cordata var. continentalis (Kitagawa) Y. C. Chu (RAc-E70) against human colorectal cancer cells. Methods and Results: RAc-E70 suppressed the proliferation of the human colorectal cancer cell lines, HCT116 and SW480. Although RAc-E70 reduction cyclin D1 expression at the protein and mRNA levels, RAc-E70-induced reduction in cyclin D1 protein level occurred more dramatically than that of cyclin D1 mRNA. The RAc-E70-induced downregulation of cyclin D1 expression was attenuated in the presence of MG132. Additionally, RAc-E70 reduced HA-cyclin D1 levels in HCT116 cells transfected with HA-tagged wild type-cyclin D1 expression vector. RAc-E70-mediated cyclin D1 degradation was blocked in the presence of LiCl, a $GSK3{\beta}$ inhibitorbut, but not PD98059, an ERK1/2 inhibitor and SB203580, a p38 inhibitor. Furthermore, RAc-E70 phosphorylated cyclin D1 at threonine-286 (T286), and LiCl-induced $GSK3{\beta}$ inhibition reduced the RAc-E70-mediated phosphorylation of cyclin D1 at T286. Conclusions: Our results suggested that RAc-E70 may downregulate cyclin D1 expression as a potential anti-cancer target through $GSK3{\beta}$-dependent cyclin D1 degradation. Based on these findings, RAc-E70 maybe a potential candidate for the development of chemopreventive or therapeutic agents for human colorectal cancer.

        암 환자 대상 변증 설문지 활용 현황에 대한 문헌고찰

        Objective: The aim of this review is to analyze the studies using syndrome differentiation questionnaire in cancer patients. Methods: We searched electronic databases including Pubmed, google scholar, Cochrane library, CNKI, KISS, RISS and OASIS. Key words used for searching were cancer, Korean medicine, pattern identification, and questionnaire. Studies using a symptom differentiation questionnaire to cancer patients were selected. Results: 35 studies were enrolled. A total of 17 questionnaires was used. Most of the types of included studies were observational studies, followed by randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and validation studies. The purposes of using questionnaires were rrelation analysis, outcome measurement, evaluating adverse events, subgroup analysis, and questionnaire development. The most used questionnaire was Body Constitution Questionnaire (BCQ), and it was used 8 times, Questionnaire for the Sasang Constitution Classification II (QSCC II) was used 5 times, Constitution in Chinese Medicine Questionnaire (CCMQ), TCM-Symptom Complex Differentiation Questionnaire (TCM-SCDQ), Yin Deficiency Questionnaire were used 4 times, and Qi Blood Yin Yang Deficiency Questionnaire was used twice. BCQ is a questionnaire diagnosing and evaluating yang deficiency, yin deficiency, and blood stasis. It has high reliability, validity, and optimal cut-off value. Conclusion: BCQ is the most used syndrome differentiation questionnaire in cancer-related studies. So, BCQ could be recommended in syndrome differentiation-related cancer studies.

        성격특성과 불안장애의 관계

        In this article, we review research on how normal personality traits and personality disorder traits may relate to anxiety disorders ; as predisposing factors, 2) as complications, 3) as pathoplastic factors, and 4) as manifestations of common underlying etiologies. Based on current literatures, we draw a conclusion as follows : 1) Normal personality traits such as high neuroticism and low extraversion and personality disorder traits, especially cluster C traits, are at least risk factors for certain anxiety disorders ; 2) Anxiety disorders in early life might influence a later development of personality disorder ; 3) Personality disorder traits may have negative influence on the outcome of anxiety disorders ; 4) Personality and anxiety disorders may be manifestations of common genetic and environmental etiologies.

        진공 환경에서 가열되는 반도체 웨이퍼로의 입자 침착에 관한 수치해석적 연구

        Numerical analysis was conducted to characterize particle deposition onto a heated horizontal semiconductor wafer in vacuum environment. In order to calculate the properties of gas surrounding the wafer, the gas was assumed to obey the ideal gas law. Particle transport mechanisms considered in the present study were convection, Brownian diffusion, gravitational settling and thermophoresis. Averaged particle deposition velocities on the upper surface of the wafer were calculated with respect to particle size, based on the numerical results from the particle concentration equation in the Eulerian frame of reference. The deposition velocities were obtained for system pressures of 1000 Pa~1 atm, wafer heating of 0~5 K and particle sizes of $2{\sim}10^4nm$. The present numerical results showed good agreement with the available experimental ones.

        개방형 네트워크 하에서는 상대방이 본인인지 여부와 정보내용이 도중에 변조되지 않았는지 여부 등 안정성 확보가 보장되지 않는다. 그러므로 인터넷상의 전자상거래를 비롯한 네트워크를 통한 사회 경제활동에서도 수기서명, 날인 및 인감등록증명과 같은 기능을 하는 전자서명 및 인증기관에 의한 전자인증이 본격화되기 시작했다. 본 논문에서는 안전한 전자거래를 위한 전자문서 사용에 필수적인 전자서명을 핑거프린팅 기법을 이용하여 웹페이지에 적용하고, HTML로 표현된 웹문서의 안정성을 위한 알고리즘을 제안한다.

        활성 산소종으로 야기된 산화스트레스에 대한 와송 추출물의 신경세포 보호효과 및 주요 생리활성물질

        본 연구에서는 와송(Orostachys japonicus A. Berger)의 산화방지 효과와 산화스트레스로부터의 신경세포 손상에 대한 보호효과 및 주요 생리활성물질을 분석하였다. 와송 아세트산에틸 분획물(ethylacetate fraction from Orostachys japonicus A. Berger extract:EFOJ)은 다른 분획물보다 높은 총 페놀화합물 함량을 나타냈으며, 와송 아세트산에틸 분획물(EFOJ)로 ABTS, DPPH 라디칼 소거 활성과 FRAP 검정 및 지방질과산화물 억제력 분석을 실시한 결과, 우수한 라디칼 소거 활성, 총산화방지력과 과산화 지방질 생성물의 억제력을 확인하였다. 또한 와송 아세트산에틸 분획물(EFOJ)은 과산화수소로 인한 신경세포 사멸에 대한 세포 생존율을 향상시켰으며, 신경 세포막 손상을 보호하는 능력이 우수한 것을 확인하였다. 이러한 생리 활성을 가진 와송 아세트산에틸 분획물(EFOJ)의 주요물질을 분석하기 위하여 LC-MSe를 실시하였으며, 주요 생리활성 물질은 퀘세틴 배당체와 캠페롤 배당체로 추정되었다. 본 연구 결과들을 바탕으로, 와송 추출물은 우수한 산화방지력을 가지고 있을 뿐만 아니라 산화적 스트레스로부터의 신경세포 보호효과를 통해 퇴행성 신경질환과 같은 질병을 예방 할 수 있는 건강기능성식품의 천연산화방지제 소재로써 고부가 가치가 있다고 판단된다. The study aimed to investigate the antioxidant activity and neuroprotective effect of the ethyl acetate fraction from Orostachys japonicus A. Berger extract (EFOJ) and its main constituent compounds. Among all fractions, the highest content of total phenolics was found in EFOJ. The antioxidant activity of EFOJ was confirmed through the 2,2-azino-bis(3- ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid (ABTS), 1-1-diphenyl-2-picryl-hydrazyl (DPPH), ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP) assays and the inhibitory effect of malondialdehyde (MDA). In addition, we ascertained that EFOJ not only decreased the intracellular ROS level, but also protected the neuronal cells against H2O2-induced oxidative stress. In liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis, the following were found to be the main compounds of EFOJ: quercetin-3- O-glucoside, kaempferol-3-O-rutinoside, kaempferol-3-O-glucoside, and kaempferol-3-O-rhamnoside. Consequently, these results suggested that the protective effect on neuronal cells was based on the antioxidant activities of the physiologically active compounds of Orostachys japonicus A. Berger extract, which could therefore help to mitigate neurodegenerative diseases.

        LGP-FL과 해마 구조를 이용한 H-CNN 기반 보행자 검출에 대한 연구

        Recently, autonomous vehicles have been actively studied. Pedestrian detection and recognition technology is important in autonomous vehicles. Pedestrian detection using CNN(Convolutional Neural Netwrok), which is mainly used recently, generally shows good performance, but there is a performance degradation depending on the environment of the image. In this paper, we propose a pedestrian detection system applying long-term memory structure of hippocampal neural network based on CNN network with LGP-FL (Local Gradient Pattern-Feature Layer) added. First, change the input image to a size of 227x227. Then, the feature is extracted through a total of 5 layers of convolution layer. In the process, LGP-FL adds the LGP feature pattern and stores the high-frequency pattern in the long-term memory. In the detection process, it is possible to detect the pedestrian more accurately by detecting using the LGP feature pattern information robust to brightness and color change. A comparison of the existing methods and the proposed method confirmed the increase of detection rate of about 1~4%.

        In recent years, energy conservation issue has been important in electronics industry due to the regulation of global warming gas emission prevention. However, a large-scale clean room for manufacturing advanced electronic devices such as semiconductors and displays requires precise temperature and humidity control and consumes a lot of energy because it operates continuously throughout the year. In such a clean room facility, free cooling, which directly produces cold water from the cooling tower by using the cold energy of the low temperature outside air, which is natural energy, is very useful without operating the refrigerator for energy conservation in winter and mid-term. However, since free cooling is affected not only by the load but also by the wet bulb temperature of the outside air, it is necessary to control both of them. In addition, since the environment in the clean room needs to satisfy strict conditions such as temperature, humidity, and cleanliness, the ratio of the heat source equipment for maintaining the temperature and humidity is large.

      • 딥러닝 영상인식 기반 사과 병해충 이미지 오분류에 관한 새로운 파이프라인 연구

        In recent times, there has been a sharp increase in crop damage caused by pests, making accurate pest diagnosis crucial to minimize such damage. In existing research on image-based diagnosis, techniques such as classification, detection, and segmentation are actively being developed. However, these methods are not flawless, often leading to misclassification of diseases as pests and vice versa. In this study, we propose a novel pipeline to minimize misclassification of crop pest images. The proposed pipeline consists of two main stages. Firstly, it automatically detects the Region of Interest (ROI) indicating the pest-damaged area in the original image, and then discerns whether the detected area represents a disease or a pest. Subsequently, the discerned image is input to the disease or pest diagnosis model for categorization. We utilized a total of 17,067 images, including 8,953 images of 6 types of diseases and 8,114 images of 7 types of pests related to apple crops. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed model reduced misclassifications to 134 cases compared to 465 cases in the existing benchmark model. This confirms the effectiveness of the proposed pipeline in reducing the number of misclassified images by 331.
