Some properties of fuzzy soft groups
Soumi Manna,Nirmal Kumar Mahapatra,Shyamal Kumar Mondal 원광대학교 기초자연과학연구소 2017 ANNALS OF FUZZY MATHEMATICS AND INFORMATICS Vol.13 No.1
The aim of this paper is two folded. Firstly, we have defined the order of an element of a fuzzy soft group and the order of an e-approximate element of a fuzzy soft group with respect to some parameters and secondly, we have introduced the notion of a fuzzy soft cyclic group with respect to some parameters. Some theorems related to these concepts have been developed. To justify the existence of these definitions and theorems some examples have been also provided.
Characterization of Indian Riverine Buffaloes by Microsatellite Markers
Sukla, Soumi,Yadav, B.R.,Bhattacharya, T.K. Asian Australasian Association of Animal Productio 2006 Animal Bioscience Vol.19 No.11
Six breeds of riverine buffalo viz. Murrah, Mehsana, Jaffrabadi, Nagpuri, Nili-Ravi and Bhadawari were characterized using FAO-recommended cattle specific microsatellite markers. Among the total of twenty microsatellite markers screened to explore genomic variability of six buffalo breeds, only ten were polymorphic in nature. Four out of ten polymorphic microsatellite loci were rated as informative. The numbers of alleles detected ranged from 2 to 7, with a mean of $5.5{\pm}0.07$ per microsatellite marker. The most polymorphic marker was BM1818 with a total of 7 alleles present at this locus. One breed specific marker was found in each of Mehsana (BM1818) and Bhadawari (ILSTS030) and four were found in Jaffarabadi (BM1818, ILSTS030, ILSTS054 and ILSTS011). Genetic distance (Ds) between the Mehsana and Bhadawari breed was the maximum (0.29), followed by Murrah and Mehsana (0.27), and Nili-Ravi and Bhadawari (0.26). The lowest Ds was found between the Jaffrabadi and Nagpuri breeds which was only 0.05. The highest divergence time of 1318 years was established between Mehsana and Bhadawari breeds whereas it was found to be lowest (272 years) between the Jaffrabadi and Nagpuri breeds.
Effect of Butyrophilin Gene Polymorphism on Milk Quality Traits in Crossbred Cattle
Bhattacharya, T.K.,Misra, S.S.,Sheikh, Feroz D.,Sukla, Soumi,Kumar, Pushpendra,Sharma, Arjava Asian Australasian Association of Animal Productio 2006 Animal Bioscience Vol.19 No.7
A genetic polymorphism study on butyrophilin gene was carried out to explore variability of this gene and to estimate effects of such variability on milk quality traits in crossbred cattle. Polymorphism was unraveled by conducting Hae III PCR-RFLP of this gene. Three genotypes such as AA, BB and AB and two alleles namely A and B were observed in crossbred population. The frequencies of genotypes and alleles were 0.78, 0.17 and 0.04 for AA, AB and BB genotypes, respectively, and 0.87 and 0.13 for A and B alleles, respectively. The nucleotides, which have been substituted from allele A to B, were observed as C to G ($71^{st}$ nucleotide), C to T ($86^{th}$ nucleotide), A to T ($217^{th}$ nucleotide), G to A ($258^{th}$ nucleotide), A to C ($371^{st}$ nucleotide) and C to T ($377^{th}$ nucleotide). The nucleotide substitutions at $71^{st}$, $86^{th}$ and $377^{th}$ position of the fragment were found as silent mutations whereas nucleotide changes at $217^{th}$, $258^{th}$ and $371^{st}$ positions were detected as substitution of amino acid lysine with arginine, valine with isoleucine, and leucine with proline from allele A to B. The genotypes had significant effects ($p{\leq}0.05$) on total milk solid%, fat%, SNF%, while showing nonsignificant impact on total protein%. AA genotype produced highest average yield for all the traits.
