This paper aims for the development of the high power sonar system for measuring the distance and the velocity of a moving object. The high power sonar system transmits two gated 190 KHz sinusoidal signals with 1.6〔ms〕 time interval to the moving object. Then the sonar system detects and calculates the changed time delay of the reflected ultrasonic signals in order to derive the velocity of the moving object. The transmission part uses a high power amplifier so that 250W gated sinusoidal signals can be transmitted to the transmitter. 1M RAM is utilized for transmitting and storing of the ultrasonic signals. The time delay is calculated by the cross-correlation technique between the transmitted signals and the received signals. The measured value from the high power sonar system is compared with directly measured values by photo diodes. The result confirms the adjacency to 0.3% error.

Nowadays, as the industrial technology and instrumentation are developed, the interest of the characteristic improvement of sound absorbing materials is rising. Recently new sound absorbing materials are being developed and manufactured for commercialization. But most of sound absorbing materials are polymer-typed or are fabricated by polymers (mixtures of polymer and glass fiber, asbestos...) for better physical characteristic. However, there was not much research about sound absorption change by the change of the ionic nature. In this paper, I composed polymers that include alkaline or acid, or other polymer that have the ionic nature to improve sound absorption characteristic and searched the characteristic pattern of the sound absorption of polymer. I used probe microphone instead of 1/4 condenser microphone such as two- microphone method in order to measure in-duct absorption coefficient of specimen of ionomers that are thin and small so that measuring absorption coefficient is not well defined.

The street effects of light, temperature and relative humidity in natural conditions were studied on Satsuma mandarin plants(citrus unshiu Marc.) growing in the field during the summer season. ChlorophyII fluorescence induction of leaves was used to characterize the stress effects. Photoinhibition of photosystem II (PS II) was caused in mid-day conditions; ratio of variable to maximum fluorescene (Fv/Fm) decreased remarkably with increased initial fluorescene (Fo) and decreased maximum fluorescene (Fm). However, it was fully recovered with the onset of night time, indicating that it is not fatal for growth of these plants. Photochemical efficiency of PS II, Fv/Fm, showed significant correlation with light intensity, temperature and relative humidity under natural conditions. Especially, under the supraoptimal conditions (light intensity above 1,000 μmole/m²/sec, temperature above 30.5℃ or relative humidity below 71.2%) in summer, it showed significant correlation with only relative humidity. This results suggest that relative humidity is a limiting factor for photosynthesis of Satsuma mandarin plants under field conditions in summer.
격음 노출 후 기니픽 달팽이관내 내유모세포 부동섬모 손상 정도의 SEM에 의한 관찰

The inner hair cell stereocilia of the guinea pig cochlea was examined under a scanning electron microscope (SEM) after loud tone exposure onto the ear drum of the animals. Before and after guinea pigs were exposed to intensive and continuous tone such as 106 dB SPL in intensity, the functioning of the cochlea was monitored by N1-N2 audiograms. The structural damage of the stereocilia of inner hair cells (IHCs) and outer hair cells (OHCs) was examined using the SEM in x1500 magnification. The preparation of the cochlear specimen is explained in detail. The comparison between the functional change of the cochlea and the structural damage of the IHC stereocilia is done by means of photographic observation. It can be shown that the functional change might be related to the structural damage of the IHC stereocilia after intensive acoustic trauma.
유치원의 부모교육 실태에 관한 조사 연구 : 광주직할시 공·사립 유치원을 중심으로

The purpose of this study were to investigate actual state of parent education in the kindergartens. The subjects were 78 kindergartens in Kwanju. The instrument was questionnaire. The questionnaire was composed of 21 items. The data were analyzed by graph, frequency, and percentage. The results obtained from the study were as follows: 1. The contents most often presented in parent education were techniques to improve parent-child relations, children's problem behavior, and child development. 2. The most common types of parent education were news-letters, parent meeting, individual conferences, observation. 3. The plan, preparation, practice, evaluation for parent education were mainly decided by the directors and teachers, and parents'involvement were rare. Specially, teachers'involvement were great in all aspects of the parent education. 4. They think the practice types of parent education in their kindergarten have highly effectiveness. 5. They think the main difficulties problems of parent education were to parents'cognition and cooperation. 6. The most directors and teachers have not in service training.

The purpose of this study was to examine needs of software development on 59 documents and appropriateness of data items on 23 documents of them. The subjects of the study were directors and teachers of the 375 kindergartens in 6 great cities including Seoul. The instrument was questionnaire that composed of 294 items. The methods for data analysis included frequency, percentage and x^(2) . The major results are summarized as follows: The needs of software development on 59 documents ranged from 44.53% to 98.93%, 49 documents of them ranged from 71.47% to 98.93%. 10 documents ranged from 44.53% to 70%. There were not significantly differences in 46 documents among the directors and teachers. They recognized appropriateness of 32 data items of the curriculum documents, 72 of the finance, 46 of the children-personnel, 10 of the staff-personnel, 18 of the parents, 8 of an outline of kindergarten management, 42 of receiving and sending documents. There were not significantly differences in 272 data items among the directors and teachers. It is concluded that the documents, through minor modifications, specific guidelines, and software development can be used as documents for. information resource management in kindergarten.

The one K-family of 5 glasses was fabricated to study the dielectric properties. Room temperature measurements of the real (εreal) and imaginary (εimag.) parts of the dielectric constant for the Li₂O-B₂0₃-SiO₂₃ glass system were obtained over a frequency range from 102 to 2×104Hz. The dielectric constants were increased with decreasing frequency and increasing molar fraction of Li₂O, which could be interpreted by a bistable model of Debye's theory.

The main purposes of this study were to survey the present status and needs of data processing of curriculum in the kindergarten. The subjects were 178 preschool's teachers and directors of kindergarten. The instrument was questionnaire. The questionnaire was composed of 21 items. The data were analyzed by frequency, and percentage. The major results are summarized as follows: 1. Majority of the kindergarten showed a tendency not to develop curriculum actively. 2. Majority of the kindergarten to depend on curriculum guides proposed by the ministry of education for the curriculum planning regardless of the unique characteristics. 3. Most of the teachers and directors wanted a list of goals, materials activities, items for curriculum planning. 4. The results of analysis of kindergarten curriculum form were as Ⅳ-3, <Table 20> - <Table 25>.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of STEP program. The subjects for this study were 20 mothers of kindergarden. The mothers divided into 2 group : 10 mothers were assigned to the control group and 10 mothers to experimental group. Two kinds of instruments were used in this study. First, the mother's child rearing recognition and skill scale. Second, the child behavior scale. STEP program was used for 9 weeks. The data were analyzed in Mean, Standard deviation, Frequency, Wilcoxon rank-sum test, Wilcoxon sign test and Standard deviatin, Frequency, Wilcoxon rand-sum test, Wilcoxon sign test and Graphs by SAS and LOTUS. The result obtained from the study were as follows : 1. The children's behavior of experimental group were significant difference in 4 subfactors (P〈.01, P〈.05). 2. The mothers' child-rearing recognition and skill of experimental group were significant difference in 9 subfactors (P〈.001, P〈.01, P〈.05). 3. The mothers' child-rearing recognition and skill of experimental group were changed positivety through 9 weeks.
