Megacities in Asia such as Seoul, Tokyo, Singapore is modern and historical at the same time. Although technologically developed and highly urbanized, these megacities’ urban fabric and life-style heavily rely on human scale - the software of the urban - as its main shaping force. This interesting mixture and contrast is what gives this city its unique characteristics. It is very motivating to find out how the software - human, community & social aspects of everyday life, rather than hardware of the city - built environment itself, drive the evolution of Seoul to such high degree. Through continuous research and workshops, the software part of the city is investigated and the lowest level elements in urban fabrication - human are looked at in two distinguish methods; computational and analogue. Differences and similarities between them are questioned, by investigating the contrast between digital and physical, virtual and actual in the thinking process. The study looks at the formation of urbanism and architecture on the level of local communities, mapping the social data, and trying to approach this idea in multiple level and perspectives.

예비 과학교사들이 작성한 논증 글쓰기의 서론 구조 분석

이 연구는 두 가지 문제 유형에 대한 예비 과학교사들의 논증 글 중 서론을 분석 하여 글쓰기 능력을 점검하고 교육적 시사점 도출을 목적으로 하였다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 서론의 요소 및 구조, 논증 유형을 분석할 수 있는 Williams와 Colomb(2007)의 분석틀을 활용하였다. 분석 결과 논증 글의 98%가 불완전한 서론 요소 및 구조를 나타냈으며, 문제 유형에 따라서도 서론의 요소 및 구조가 다르게 나타났다. 또한 37%의 논증 글은 제시한 문제 유형에 적절하지 않은 논증 유형으로 글을 작성한 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과들은 예비 과학교사들이 글의 시작점인 서론의 구성 능력이 부족함을 나타낸다. 따라서 예비 과학교사들이 논증 글쓰기의 중요성을 인식하고 논증 글쓰기에 필요한 기본적 지식과 능력을 향상시키기 위한 교육적 방안이 필요함을 시사한다. The purpose of this study was to analyze of elements and structure of introduction to examine preservice science teachers argumentative writing proficiency and deduce educational implications. For this purpose, we utilized Williams and Colomb(2007) s introduction framwork. The result indicated that 98% of written arguments presented incomplete elements and structures of introduction as well as according to types of problems. And 37% of written arguments presented that not valid for problem types. These results mean that preservice science teachers presented lack of knowledges. It also showed that they didn t have ability to construct introdution of written argument. Therefore It indicate that educational strategies that to enhance preservice teachers abilities and awareness about written argument have to need.
