        가스상 대기오염물질에 의한 종이 기록물의 가속열화 특성 연구

        Paper records were generally degraded by some factors from atmospheric environments, like temperature, relative humidity or air pollutants. In this study, the degradation behavior of paper records by single or mixed gases of NO₂, SO₂, HCHO and TVOC was evaluated. The mechanical, optical and chemical properties of 4 kinds of paper (acid and neutral-based printing paper, traditional Hanji, and filter paper) were directly and indirectly affected by gaseous harmful materials. The brightness and L<SUP>*</SUP> value in all papers were slightly increased by accelerated aging under gaseous HCHO and TVOCs, but highly decreased by conditions under gases NO₂ and SO₂. The optical properties of paper records were most vulnerable in acid-based paper and high stable in filter paper and traditional Hanji by air pollutant degradation. The aging treatments under mixed gas pollutants including NO₂ resulted in decrease of physical, mechanical and optical properties of paper, so it was supposed that the concentration of NO₂ gas would be strictly controlled for optimum indoor air quality management in domestic storage centers for paper records.

        또 하나의 냉전

        In 1970, the so-called 'revisionists' of the United States criticised that 'the triumph of American art' was the product of 'cultural Cold War' and Abstract Expressionism as well as the Museum of Modern Art in New York were the weapons of Cold War. Their criticism suggested the problematic issues about modern art in Cold War, but they had some logical limits in their literatures: on the one hand, they were almost interested in the centre of modern art, Paris or New York, and on the other hand, they believed the 'centre', understood as American art in New York after World War Ⅱ, was getting to be diffused into the other areas step by step, for example, Europe in the 1950s, Asia in the 1960s. This means even the critical 'revisionists', probably unconsciously, were not free from and consequently reproduced the geopolitics of the 'centre' with regard to modern art. As for Japan, however, the cultural Cold War' did not come late in the 1960s, but started from the Occupation of the GHQ (General Headquarters/Supreme Commander for Allied Powers) in 1945. And although under the Occupation, the meaning of modern art in Japan was not directly connected to 'the triumph of American art', rather the exhibitions of French modern art were vigorously held. These exhibitions were taken place almost by the newborn 'Kokuritsuhakubutsukan (National Museum)' which had been the property of Tenno (Emperor of Japan) but was reconstituted as that of people by the GHQ on the basis of the Occupational ideology of 'democracy' after the defeat of war. In short, there appeared the 'cultural Cold War' in Japan during the Occupation years in the form of 'democratic modern' French art. And more, the ideology of 'democracy' was so discussive, inconsistent and changing one that could not say that the ever-determined principle of the 'centre' was received as it was without any resistance or modification in Japan. Therefore, I think the case of Japan under the Occupation is a good one to question about the geopolitics of 'centre' reproduced by the 'revisionists'. During the Occupation years, the meaning of 'democracy' and 'democratic modern' art was changed gradually, from anti-militarism (or anti-nationalism) to anti-communism (or anti-socialism) and ended up to the resurrection of Japanese nationalism. With these changes, the French artists or artistic movements was selectively accentuated, from Impressionists to Fauvists or Cubists and to decorative Fauvists, especially Matisse. First, right after the defeat of war, because the Occupational principle was centered on the anti-militarism, 'democracy' was interpreted as a broad one, including socialism, and so there happened a series of competitions for which one is more 'democratic' art between Impressionist realism and socialist realism. But with the opening of 'Kokuritsuhakubutsukan' in 1947, in the second place, the meaning of 'democracy' in that institution was changed into anti-communism, and at the same time 'the autonomy of art(art for art's sake)' was underlined as the institutional principle. On the behalf of this principle, art criticisms and artistic discourses also put it that Fauvists or Cubists was more developed ones than Impressionists because the first was closer to 'the autonomy of art' than the last. This interpretation was conscious of the formulation of modern art by Museum of Modern Art in New York regarded as 'center of art world' and the extraordinary Museum of Modern Art was open within the Kokuritsuhakubutsukan in 1948. And then, from 1949 to 1951, the third aspect of these changes, The GHQ decided to make Japan anti-communist base in Asia, and for the purpose of it to make Japan an independent nation-state was needed. So the Kokuritsuhakubutsukan made a great point of worldliness of Japanese art, and emphasized the superiority of Japanese classics or traditional culture which had been regarded to influence French modern arts.         서산지역의 대기질 경년변화 특성에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 1998년부터 2006년까지 9년 동안의 서산 지역 대기오염물질 농도 변화 특성을 조사하였다. 조사 결과, 최근 3년 동안 CO와 O₃을 제외한 SO₂, NO₂ 및 PM-10은 농도 변화가 거의 없는 안정화 단계를 보였다. NO₂, CO 및 SO₂의 월평균농도 변화는 여름철에 감소하다 겨울철에 증가하는 경향을 보였으며 O₃과 PM-10은 봄철에 높은 농도를 보이며, 강수가 집중되는 여름철에 가장 낮은 농도분포를 보였다. 2006년 12월까지 오존의 1시간 기준치인 0.1 ppm을 초과한 횟수는 동문동이 68회, 독꽂리 93회였고 8시간 기준치얀 0.06 ppm을 초과한 횟수는 동문동 210 회, 독곶리 213회였다. 또한 미세먼지의 경우 24시간기준인 150 ㎍/㎥을 초과한 횟수가 동문동 25회, 독곶리 54회로 나타났다. This study was performed to evaluate the characteristics of current air quality and to examine the monthly and yearly variation of SO₂, O₃, CO, NO₂, and fine particulate matter(PM-10) concentration in Seosan for the period of 1998-2006. During the recent 3 years, from 2004 to 2006, the yearly mean concentration of SO₂, NO₂, and PM-10 remained stability but CO and O₃ are gradually decreased. The monthly mean concentration of NO₂, CO, and SO₂ were high in the winter season and decreased steadily to the summer season, but the maximum concentration of O₃ and PM-10 appeared in the springtime. The number of days exceeding 24-hour standards for PM-10 were 54 times at Dokgodri and 25 times at Dongmundong, The number of sampling days exceeding the l-hour and 8-hour standards for O₃ were 68 and 210 times at Dongrmundong and at Dokgotri 93 and 213 times, respectively.

      • Effect of ER signal peptides (KDEL) on expression and function of anti-virus monoclonal antibody in plant

        Plant genetic engineering has led to the production of plant-derived mAb (mAbP), which provides a safe and economically feasible alternative to the current antibody expression systems. In this study, the expression levels of mAbP SO57 with or without ER-signal peptides (Lys-Asp-Gly-Leu;KDEL) in transgenic tobacco plants were analysed in transgenic plant. PCR and Reverse Transcription-PCR analyses showed existence of heavy and light chain genes of mAb with or without KEDL and their transcription in plant, respectively. Western blot showed that the expression levels of mAbP SO57 with KDEL were significantly higher than that without KDEL. Flow cytometry analysis showed that the Fc domains of both purified mAbP and mammalian-derived mAb have similar binding activity to the FcγRI receptor. High-performance liquid chromatography analysis showed that the mAbP SO57 with KDEL had glycan profile with both oligomannose and golgi type, whereas the mAbP SO57 without KDEL had only golgi type glycans. Neutralizing analysis with rabies virus CVS-11 showed the similar neutralizing activity between mAbP SO57 with and without KDEL. These results suggest that the potential of mAbP SO57 for rabies immunotherapy is regardless of plant specific glycan structures.

        Plant genetic engineering led to the production of plant-derived mAb (mAbP), which provides a safe and economically feasible alternative to the current animal expression systems. In this study, the expression level of mAbP SO57 between with and without Lys-Asp-Glu-Leu (KDEL) was compared in transgenic plant. PCR and PT-PCR analyse showed stable gene insertion transcription of heavy and light chain genes of mAbP SO57 with or without KDEL in plant, respectively. We validated expression of mAbP SO57 by western blot. Western blot showed the significantly higher expression level of mAbP SO57 with KDEL compared to without KDEL. Flow cytometry (FACS) analysis showed that the Fc domains of both purified mAbP and mammalian-derived mAb (mAbM) evidenced similar binding activity to the FcγRI receptor (CD64). High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysed, glycosylation patterns of mAbP SO57 with or without KDEL. The mAbP SO57 with KDEL had glycan profile with both oligomannose type (47.6%) and golgi type (52.4%), while the mAbP SO57 without KDEL had only golgi type (100%) glycans. Neutralizing analysis with rabies virus CVS-11 showed the similar neutralizing activity between mAbP SO57 with and without KDEL. These results suggest the potential of mAbP SO57 for rabies immunotherapy, regardless of plant specific glycan structures.

        집단의사결정의 정보추출 모형(information sampling model of group discussion)은 조직 내의 의사결정과정에 필요한 모든 정보를 추출하는데 어려움이 있을 수 있음을, 조직 내의 모든 구성원들이 공유하고 있지 않은 개인의 유일정보(unshared information)의 개념을 이용하여 설명하고 있다. 선행 연구들은 개인들이 집단의사결정의 과정에서 자신들의 유일정보를 언급하기를 꺼려함에 따라, 결국 많은 경우의 집단의사결정에서 최종적으로 선택되는 대처 안은 유일정보가 배제된 공통정보만을 바탕으로 한 것이라는 점을 지적한다. 본 연구에서는 집단구성원 개인의 긍정적 기분이, 집단의사결정 과정에 있어서 원활한 정보교류를 촉진시킨 다는 것을 증명하기 위하여 개인의 기분 요소를 인위적으로 통제 및 조성(control and manipulation)하는데 성공하였으며, 실험적 정보교류과제를 개발하여 조직 내에서 양질의 의사결정을 유도할 수 있음을 입증하였다. 특히 본 연구결과에 의하면 집단구성원 개인이 긍정적 기분을 가지고 있을 때, 그들은 단지 주어진 과제를 형식적으로 마무리하는데 그치지 않고, 과제의 완성도를 높이기 위해서 가능한 모든 정보를 포괄적으로 이용하고자 하는 경향성을 보였다. 본 연구는 실험연구라는 연구방법상의 특성에 의하여 충분한 외적 타당도(external validity)를 확보할 수 없었다는 제한점은 가지고 있으나, 방법론적인 면에 있어서 긍정적 기분과 부정적 기분을 실험적으로 유도함으로써 원활한 정보교류의 촉진과 집단의사결정의 질적 향상을 위한 집단 구성원들의 노력이 부정적 기분의 감소가 아닌 긍정적 기분의 증가에 의해 유도되는 것임을 실증적으로 확인하였다.

        Complete genome sequence of Sphingobium sp. strain PAMC 28499 reveals a potential for degrading pectin with comparative genomics approach

        Background Spingobium sp. PAMC 28499 is isolated from the glaciers of Uganda. Uganda is a unique region where hot areas and glaciers coexist, with a variety of living creatures surviving, but the survey on them is very poor. The genetic character and complete genome information of Sphingobium strains help with environmental studies and the development of better to enzyme industry. Objective In this study, complete genome sequence of Spingobium sp. PAMC 28499 and comparative analysis of Spingobium species strains isolated from variety of the region. Methods Genome sequencingwas performed using PacBio sequel single-molecule real-time (SMRT) sequencing technology. The predicted gene sequences were functionally annotated and gene prediction was carried out using the program NCBI nonredundant database. And using dbCAN2 and KEGG data base were degradation pathway predicted and protein prediction about carbohydrate active enzymes (CAZymes). Results The genome sequence has 64.5% GC content, 4432 coding protein coding genes, 61 tRNAs, and 12 rRNA operons. Its genome encodes a simple set of metabolic pathways relevant to pectin and its predicted degradation protein an unusual distribution of CAZymes with extracellular esterases and pectate lyases. CAZyme annotation analyses revealed 165 genes related to carbohydrate active, and especially we have found GH1, GH2, GH3, GH38, GH35, GH51, GH51, GH53, GH106, GH146, CE12, PL1 and PL11 such as known pectin degradation genes from Sphingobium yanoikuiae. These results confrmed that this Sphingobium sp. strain PAMC 28499 have similar patterns to RG I pectin-degrading pathway. Conclusion In this study, isolated and sequenced the complete genome of Spingobium sp. PAMC 28499. Also, this strain has comparative genome analysis. Through the complete genome we can predict how this strain can store and produce energy in extreme environment. It can also provide bioengineered data by fnding new genes that degradation the pectin

      • The Effects of Participation in Physical Activity Programs Based on Self-Determination on Developmentally Disabled Children`s Gross Motor Skills, Concentration, and Communicative Competence

        Purpose: The purpose of this study is to provide children with developmental disorders with physical activities that are preferred based on self-determination theory and verifying the effects. This study is a follow-up study of one conducted by So Hyung Kim, Hye-Min Kim, and Hyun-Su Lee(2015) and it chose a type among preference types classified through Q methodologies. Afterwards, programs were developed based on physical activities preferred by children who fit that type, and then applied. Method: The study selected 28 children meeting the criteria through purposive sampling from six- to twelve-year-old disabled children living in C City and attending a kindergarten, special- education school, or general school`s special class. The subjects were made to classify 24 adapted physical activity cards developed for this research, and their preferred types were analyzed with QUANL PC Program. The type (Type 1) that had the most subjects in Type Q conducted the adapted physical activity they preferred twice a week, for 50 minutes in each session, for total 15 weeks. To examine the effectiveness of the program, the ATA concentration test, frostig-MSTB, percentage of correct consonants test, and maximal phonation time test were performed. Lastly, to analyze data for verifying hypotheses, SPSS for Window 10.0 was employed for repeated measured two-way ANOVA. Result: First, developmentally disabled children participating in the adapted physical activity program based on their self-determination showed more change in bending forward, standing long jump, shuttle run walking on a balance beam, balancing on one leg than does not in gross motor skills. Second, developmentally disabled children participating in the adapted physical activity program based on their self-determination showed more change in omission error than those not in concentration skills. Third, developmentally disabled children participating in the adapted physical activity program based on their self-determination did not show more change in the percentage of correct consonants (%) and in maximal phonation time (MPT) which is one of the aerodynamic outcomes than those not in communicative competence. Conclusion: Research results allowed recognition of the academic importance of the self-determination of disabled children through program applications made by the decisions of the disabled children themselves. Efforts to develop self-determination enhancement programs for disabled children in physical training fields will also be needed.

        Perspectives of Integrative Cancer Genomics in Next Generation Sequencing Era

        The explosive development of genomics technologies including microarrays and next generation sequencing (NGS) has provided comprehensive maps of cancer genomes, including the expression of mRNAs and microRNAs, DNA copy numbers, sequence variations, and epigenetic changes. These genome-wide profiles of the genetic aberrations could reveal the candidates for diagnostic and/or prognostic biomarkers as well as mechanistic insights into tumor development and progression. Recent efforts to establish the huge cancer genome compendium and integrative omics analyses, so-called "integromics", have extended our understanding on the cancer genome, showing its daunting complexity and heterogeneity. However, the challenges of the structured integration, sharing, and interpretation of the big omics data still remain to be resolved. Here, we review several issues raised in cancer omics data analysis, including NGS, focusing particularly on the study design and analysis strategies. This might be helpful to understand the current trends and strategies of the rapidly evolving cancer genomics research.
