      • Modeling and Simulation of Wind Power Generation System Using Diode Bridge Rectification Circuit for Converter

        This paper presents the variable-speed permanent magnet synchronous generator wind power system using the diode bridge rectification circuit for the converter. The wind speed model which simulates the actual wind is investigated, and it is realized as the Simulink model. The parameters of the permanent magnet synchronous generator are measured and the generator torque characteristic using the obtained parameters is calculated. The wind turbine torque characteristic and the range of the wind speed in which the wind power system can operate is clarified by comparing with boost converter method and PWM converter method. The diode bridge rectification circuit system simplifies the maintenance and improves the reliability and reduces the cost in compare with boost converter method and PWM converter method.

        Effects of three parameters on forming force of the single point incremental forming process

        This research has examined the effects of three parameter groups on the forming force of single point incremental forming (SPIF) process. The parameters under study include the material types (sheet aluminum, brass and copper), the forming angles (30°, 40° and 50°), and the tool revolution speeds (200, 400 and 600 rpm). The metal forming was carried out using a spherical edge tool which was pressed onto the metal surface to form work pieces of truncated pyramid shape. In the experiment, the forming forces were measured and analyzed to determine an optimal parameter combination, with regard to the material type, forming angle and revolution speed, for the SPIF process. The experimental results showed that all three parameter groups exerted varying influences over the forming force of the SPIF process. The findings indicated that the sheet brass exhibited the highest force value and that the smaller forming angle contributed to the greater forming force. In addition, the higher tool revolution speed resulted in the lower forming force.

        Power Distribution System Planning with Demand Uncertainty Consideration

        This paper proposes a method for solving distribution system planning problems taking into account demand uncertainty and geographical information. The proposed method can automatically select appropriate location and size of a substation, routing of feeders, and appropriate sizes of conductors while satisfying constraints, e.g. voltage drop and thermal limit. The demand uncertainty representing load growth is modeled by fuzzy numbers. Feeder routing is determined with consideration of existing infrastructure, e.g. streets and canals. The method integrates planner's experience and process optimization to achieve an appropriate practical solution. The proposed method has been tested with an actual distribution system, from which the results indicate that it can provide satisfactory plans.

        Experimental Assessment with Wind Turbine Emulator of Variable-Speed Wind Power Generation System using Boost Chopper Circuit of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator

        This paper presents experimental results and its assessment of a variable-speed wind power generation system (VSWPGS) using permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) and boost chopper circuit (BCC). Experimental results are obtained by a test bench with a wind turbine emulator (WTE). WTE reproduces the behaviors of a windmill by using servo motor drives. The mechanical torque references to drive the servo motor are calculated from the windmill wing profile, wind velocity, and windmill rotational speed. VSWPGS using PMSG and BCC has three speed control modes for the level of wind velocity to control the rotational speed of the wind turbine. The control mode for low wind velocity regulates an armature current of generator with BCC. The control mode for middle wind velocity regulates a DC link voltage with a vector-controlled inverter. The control mode for high wind velocity regulates a pitch angle of the wind turbine with a pitch angle control system. The hybrid of three control modes extends the variable-speed range. BCC simplifies the maintenance of VSWPGS while improving reliability. In addition, VSWPGS using PMSG and BCC saves cost compared with VSWPGS using a PWM converter.

        The incidence of phlebitis development of high concentration of continuous amiodarone infusion with in-line filter compared to the low concentration without in-line filter: a retrospective propensity score-matched analysis

        Background: Phlebitis-associated peripheral infusion of intravenous amiodarone is common in clinical practice, with an incidence between 5% and 65%. Several factors, including drug concentration, catheter size, and in-line filter used, are significantly associated with phlebitis occurrence. We performed a retrospective propensity score-matched analysis to find out whether in-line filter will reduce the incidence of amiodarone-induced phlebitis (AIP) in high concentration of amiodarone infusion compared to low concentration without in-line filter.Methods: Clinical records of all patients who required intravenous amiodarone infusion for cardiac arrhythmias, between January 2017 to December 2019 were retrieved. The incidence of AIP was recorded and subsequently compared among high concentration (2 mg/ml) with an in-line filter and low concentration (1.5 mg/ml) infusion without an in-line filter after a 1 to 2 propensity score matched.Results: The data indicated that among the 214 cases of amiodarone infusion collected, 28 cases used an in-line filter with high concentration while 186 cases received a low concentration of amiodarone infusion without an in-line filter. After 1:2 propensity score matching, the incidence of phlebitis in the high concentration with in-line filter group was significantly higher than the low concentration without in-line filter group (28.6% vs. 3.6%, P<0.01).Conclusions: Despite the usage of in-line filter, the high concentration of amiodarone infusion resulted in a higher incidence of peripheral phlebitis. Central venous catheterization for a high concentration of amiodarone infusion is recommended.

        Roles and Value Change of Pratu Pa from the Past to the Present: A Case Study of Ban Buak Khrok Noi, Nong Pa Krang Sub-District, Muang District, Chiang Mai Province

        The study, Roles and Value Change of Pratu Pa from the Past to the Present: A Case Study of Ban Buak Khrok Noi, Nong Pa Krang Sub-District, Muang District, Chiang Mai Province, has two main purposes which are: to study the change in roles and functions of the Pratu Pa; and to study the values of Pratu Pa. The results were found that with regards to the change in the roles and function of Pratu Pa, Pratu Pa was constructed only during the Yipeng festival while the other role is emphasizing the importance of nature. With regards to the value of the Pratu Pa, two values were found: the concrete and abstract values. The concrete value was the forms and designs in the decoration of Pratu Pa, while the abstract value was the belief in Buddhism especially in Prawessandorn Jataka. Moreover, in the study of the change in the roles and values of the Pratu Pa from the villagers, analyzed from the communication model -the sender, message, channel and receiverit was found that the sender of the message in the past were the old people and at the present are the people in the community. In terms of message, the message were the change in the meaning of Pratu Pa. In terms of channel, at the present the channels are wider such as there are contest in the construction and decoration of the Pratu Pa. Finally, in terms of receivers of the message, in the past were the transfer of message from the old people and family members, whereas at present it is the communal activity. การศึกษาการเปลี่ยนแปลงบทบาทและคุณค่าของประตูป่าจากอดีตถึงปัจจุบัน: กรณีศึกษาบ้านบวกครกน้อย ตำบลหนองป่าครั่ง อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ โดยมี วัตถุประสงค์หลักดังนี้ เพื่อศึกษาการเปลี่ยนแปลงบทบาทหน้าที่ของประตูป่า และ เพื่อศึกษา คุณค่าของประตูป่า จากผลวิจัยพบว่าการเปลี่ยนแปลงบทบาทหน้าที ของประตูป่า เห็นได้ว่า ประตูป่าจะทำขึ้น เฉพาะในประเพณียี่เป็ง ในขณะที่บทบาทอื่น ๆ จะเน้นความสำคัญของ ธรรมชาติ ในส่วนคุณค่าของประตูป่ามีคุณค่าที เป็นรูปธรรมและนามธรรม คุณค่าในด้าน รูปธรรมได้แก่การออกแบบในการตกแต่งประตูป่า ในขณะที่คุณค่าด้านนามธรรมเป็นความ เชื่อทางพุทธศาสนาโดยเฉพาะในเร ืองพระเวสสันดรชาดก นอกจากนีใ นการศึกษาการ เปลี่ยนแปลงบทบาทและคุณค่าของประตูป่ าจากคนในหมู่บ้าน โดยการวิเคราะห์ด้านการ สื่อสารได้แก่ ผู้ส่งสาร สารสื่อ และผู้รับสาร ก็พบว่าด้านผู้ส่งสารในอดีตคือผู้เฒ่าผู้แก่ส่วน ปัจจุบันคือคนในชุมชน ในด้านสารมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงความหมายของการทำประตูป่า ในด้าน ช่องทางในปัจจุบันเปิดกว้างมากขึ้น เช่นมีการประกวดประตูป่า และสุดท้ายในด้านผู้รับสารใน อดีตเป็นการสืบทอดจากผู้เฒ่าผู้แก่ให้แก่คนในครอบครัว ในขณะที่ปัจจุบันเป็นนกิจกรรม ร่วมกันของคนในชุมชน

        The Analysis of Factors and Elements which Influence the Creation of Thai Novel Series

        There are two aims of The Analysis of Factors and Elements which Influence the Creation of Thai Novel Series: to analyses the factors of Thai Novel Series and to analyses the elements that influence the creation of the Thai Novel series. The study reveals the relationship between the structures of the plots of each novel, which means there is a major plot that controls the characters’ roles in more than one novel in the series. Furthermore, the background of each novel in the series is the same. There are four important elements which influence the composition of the novels including 1) the author’s continuous plot, theme, characters, scenes and atmosphere, 2) the readers’ preferences towards the novels determine the styles and directions of the novels, especially the part played by each novel in the series, 3) the publishers’ market plans and policies in relation to the production of television movie series, and 4) a wider spread of novel series among the televised series audience. การศึกษาวิเคราะห์นวนิยายชุดของไทยมีวัตถุประสงค์สองประการดังนี ้ ประการแรกเพื่อวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบของนวนิยายชุด และประการที่สองเพื่อ วิเคราะห์ปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการสร้างนวนิยายชุดของไทย ซึ่งพบว่านวนิยายชุด มีความต่อเนื่องสัมพันธ์กันในด้านโครงเรื่อง โดยมีการใช้โครงเรื่องใหญ่โครง เดียวกันในการดำเนินเรื่อง และมีการใช้ตัวละครที่แสดงบทบาทอย่างต่อเนื่องกัน ในนวนิยายมากกว่าหนึ่งเรื่อง นอกจากนียั้งมีการใช้ฉากรูปแบบเดียวกันในการ ดำเนินเรื่อง ส่วนในด้านปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการสร้างนวนิยายชุดของไทยพบว่ามี ปัจจัยสำคัญ 4 ประการ คือ 1) ปัจจัยที่มาจากการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานของนักเขียน โดยนักเขียนได้ใช้กลวิธีการเขียนนวนิยายที่มีโครงเรื่อง แก่นเรื่อง ตัวละคร ฉาก และบรรยากาศที่ต่อเนื่องสัมพันธ์กัน 2) ปัจจัยที่มาจากความต้องการของนักอ่าน โดยนักอ่านเป็นผู้สนับสนุนผลงานของนักเขียน โดยเฉพาะที่เป็นนวนิยายชุดก็จะ ยิ่งมีการติดตามมากยิ่งขึน้ 3) ปัจจัยที่มาจากสำนักพิมพ์ โดยเป็ นผู้ผลิตและ วางแผนทางการตลาดให้นวนิยายชุดเป็นที่รู้จักและอยู่ในตลาดหนังสือ 4) ปัจจัย ที่มาจากการนำไปสร้างเป็นบทละครโทรทัศน์ทำให้นวนิยายชุดแพร่หลายไปใน กลุ่มผู้ชมละครทางโทรทัศน์และเกิดกระแสความนิยมนวนิยายชุดมากยิ่งขึน้

        Modulating functions of space vector PWM for five-leg inverter fed two single-phase induction motors

        This paper proposes modulating functions of a space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) technique based on modified sectors for a five-leg voltage source inverter (VSI) fed dual single-phase induction motor system. The modified sectors are used to simplify the modulating functions in a general form. The modulating functions are fully derived, described and implemented on a DS1104 dSPACE controller. The obtained SVPWM signals are applied to a five-leg VSI for driving the two single-phase induction motors to demonstrate its feasibility in motor drive applications. The calculated and measured modulating signal waveforms of the proposed SVPWM are in good agreement. Experimental waveforms of the motor voltages and currents at different operating frequencies are demonstrated and found to be satisfactory.
