        A Study on the Changing Direction of Korean Education in the Age of the Fourth Industrial Revolution

        This study has an ultimate purpose to find some change direction of education in the Korean language education field, that is, in and out of the Korean language classroom keeping up with social changes. Especially, this study will investigate progressive educational ways in terms of not only developing software, but also grafting hardware relating to mobile technologies. For this, this study will classify the cases of teaching and learning happened in and out of Korean language classrooms and to introduce practical ways of education to apply mobile technologies according to the each case. As a concrete method, this paper proposed a change plan of classroom change that incorporates `Miracast` and `smart phone` and a change plan out of the classroom using mesh. This study can be meaningful in that the teaching and learning are linked more organically through the smart phone and the education is called `IoT world` so that both teachers and learners can easily access education.

        한국어능력시험 중급 듣기 문항 분석 연구 -상황맥락을 중심으로-

        This study shows the analysis result of the intermediate level listening questions in TOPIK(Test of Proficiency in Korean), which has been growing in stature every year. Considering the present status of TOPIK, It is necessary to check whether the test assesses Korean proficiency correctly or if it lacks functions as a standard test. This is because TOPIK takes on a meaningful role as a teaching content, a learning content and in designing teaching curriculums. In order to do this well, the questions in TOPIK must include appropriate situation contexts. The situation context is a fundamental prerequisite in making the listening questions and this reveals a test`s authenticity. So this study examines the intermediate level listening questions in the 28th to the 31st TOPIK test and then analyzes whether they consist of authentic and diverse situation contexts.

        학문 목적 학습자를 대상으로 하는학술어휘 선정을 위한 말뭉치 자료 구축 방안 연구

        The purpose of this thesis as the preparatory stage of selecting the academic vocabularies is to prepare the construction corpus data for the academic vocabulary selection. The Korean language learners aiming for the university study comprise a large part of Korean language education. So it is necessary to improve their linguistic ability. The aims of Korean language learners are two. One is to acquire the communication skills for their daily life and the other is to have the cognitive and academic proficiency. The former aim has been fulfilled generally in Korean language classes. However, the education for the latter is insufficient, so it is urgent to educate the learners. The most appropriate way for this is the vocabulary instruction considering economic effects and effectiveness. For the vocabulary instruction, to select appropriate vocabularies and determine constructed data to select such vocabularies are preceded and these are very important processes. So, this thesis defines the concept of the academic vocabulary and examines the meaning of the corpus data. Based on this purpose, the academic system was set up not for the scheme of construction reflecting administrative convenience, but for the selection of the academic vocabulary. Also, the grades of the selected vocabularies were subdivided according to the educational priority and selected vocabularies as the corpus data are constructed according to the academic scope and interdisciplinary distance. Finally, this thesis suggests a part of process of the selecting vocabularies and real studying.

        A Study on the Academic vocabulary Education for Content-Based Korean Language Education: A Basic Study for Online Dictionary Development

        이 연구는 내용 중심 한국어 교육을 위해 학술어휘를 어떻게 교육할 것인지에 대한 방안으로 온라인 학술어휘 사전을 개발할 것을 제안한다. 학문 목적 한국어 학습자가 대학 수학 과정에서 접하게 되는 내용 중심 한국어 교육을 위한 학술적 텍스트에는 다양한 학술어휘가 존재한다. 학술어휘를 모르고서는 학문적 내용을 이해하거나 생산할 수 없다. 따라서 그들이 처한 교육적 환경을 고려하여 그들에게 가장 적합한 방식으로 학술어휘를 교육해 교육적 효율성을 높이는 것이 한국어 교육의 과제 중 하나가 되었다. 이에 대한 대안으로 본고는 온라인 학술어휘 사전 개발에 앞서 온라인 학술어휘 사전에는 어떠한 내용이 어떠한 방식으로 담겨야 하는지에 대한 기초 연구를 수행하고자 한다. 온라인 학술어휘 사전은 교실 안으로 한정되어 있던 교육을 교실 안팎으로 자연스럽게 연결하게 해 교육 현장이 갖는 어휘 교육의 한계를 극복하고 교육적 효과를 극대화할 수 있다. In this paper, we proposes to develop an online academic vocabulary dictionary as a way of educating academic vocabulary for content-oriented Korean language education. Various academic languages exist in the content-based Korean language teaching materials they encounter when studying at university. You cannot understand or produce academic text without knowing the academic vocabulary. Therefore, one of the tasks of Korean language education has become to improve educational efficiency by preparing a method for academic vocabulary education that is most suitable for them in consideration of their own. Prior to the development of the online academic vocabulary dictionary, the institute conducted a basic study on how the content should be contained in the online dictionary. Online academic vocabulary dictionaries allow students to naturally link their limited education into and out of the classroom, thereby overcoming the limitations of vocabulary education at the educational scene and maximizing their educational effectiveness.

        인터넷 기반 한국어 성취도 평가 개발을 위한 ICT 활용 방안 연구 -온라인 세종학당 중급 성취도 평가를 중심으로-

        Based on Sejong Institute’s online evaluation method of intermediate Korean language and question development research, this study attempted to propose a plan to implement questions that can be used when question types by area proceed with online-based evaluation. Due to the sudden incident of the COVID-19 pandemic, online-based Korean language education began in earnest, and accordingly, the evaluation, which can be said to be the end of the education, was also conducted online. In order to minimize confusion in the online-based evaluation situation made without thorough preparation, it is necessary to carefully review the direction, methodology, and implementation plan of online-based evaluation. Therefore, this study examined the types of questions commonly used in intermediate Korean evaluation, such as various methods of implementing questions that can be used when online-based evaluation is conducted. The subsequent task is not to switch offline question types online as they are, but to develop new question types that can evaluate learners’ abilities by utilizing the characteristics and advantages of online-based evaluation and discuss how to implement questions accordingly.         ‘일본어(JSL) 교육과정’ 고찰을 통한 ‘한국어(KSL) 교육과정’의 ‘학습 한국어’ 개선 방안 연구

        This study analyzed and examined the `JSL Curriculum' specialized in curriculum education in order to suggest the alternative of `Academic Korean' in `KSL curriculum'. The `JSL Curriculum' was developed after trial and error about various problematic situations that `KSL Curriculum' undergoing currently in the education field. Therefore, considering the background, the procedure, the principle, and the practice of the `JSL Curriculum' development, this study will provide some suggestions for future direction of `KSL Curriculum'. In order for public education to achieve its ultimate goal, it must achieve the goal of curriculum education set by public education. The `KSL Curriculum' was developed as a support program to incorporate KSL learners in a school age into the subjects of public education. Therefore, it must be necessary to suggest a support program for 'adaptation to the subjects' in the end. Expecting to contribute to this `KSL Curriculum' development, this study will conclude.
