Purpose: Sleep quality was considered a priority concern facing pregnant women. Conventional wisdom argues that good sleep quality benefits pregnant women and their fetuses. The aim of this study is to assess the effects of a specific exercise program on the sleep quality in pregnant women. Methods: Searches were executed in seven databases since their inceptions until February 28, 2019, for randomized controlled trials evaluating the effects of an exercise program on the sleep quality and insomnia in pregnant women. A random-effects model was applied for meta-analysis, and odds ratio, mean differences (MDs), and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) are shown as parts of outcomes. Results: Seven studies were included for meta-analysis. Compared with their not-exercising counterparts, analyses showed that regularly exercising women had significantly enhanced sleep quality, with an odds ratio of 6.21 (95% CI, 2.02–19.11;p = .001; I2 = 80.2%), with a standardized MD of −0.93 (95% CI, −1.19 to −0.67; p < .001; I2 = 30.0%). However, exercising women showed no significant insomnia improvement, with an standardized MD of −2.85 (95% CI, −7.67 to 1.98; p = .250; I2 = 97.0%), relative to their not-exercising counterparts. Conclusion: This research indicated that exercise has a positive impact on the sleep quality of pregnant women. Despite the aforementioned positive impact on sleep quality, the present study did not find evidence to support that exercise may also improve insomnia for pregnant women.

Background: Postpartum subinvolution of the uterus is a more common condition after cesarean section. Auricular acupressure (AA) is widely used for the treatment of postpartum diseases. However, few studies have explored the effects of AA as a treatment of uterine involution following cesarean section to date. This study aimed to assess the efficacy and safety of AA for uterine involution after cesarean section. Methods: A total of 109 women who underwent cesarean section participated in this study. They were randomly allocated to either real AA or sham AA in a 1:1 ratio by a computer program. For 3 days, the real AA and sham AA groups received treatment 3 times daily. A series of assessments at 42 days after cesarean section, namely on the uterine size, the incidence of hydrometra, the first anal exsufflation time, bleeding volume at 6 hours, bleeding volume at 6–24 hours along with other general assessments were carried out. Results: A total of 89 women completed the study. The uterine size at 42 days after a cesarean section was 6.3 cm smaller in the real AA group than in the sham AA group (P < 0.01). The incidence of hydrometra on day 42 postpartum was lower in the real AA group than in the sham AA group (P < 0.01). The lochia duration and the first anal exsufflation time after cesarean section were shorter in the real AA group than in the sham AA group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: AA improves uterine involution after cesarean section. Trial registration: ChiCTR1800015569.
Optimum Blank Design of Thick-Plate Metal Forming without Blank Holder
Jian Lan,Mianli Zhang,Huajie Mao,Maosheng Shu,Lin Hua 한국소성가공학회 2010 기타자료 Vol.2010 No.6
Many blank design methods are used in sheet metal forming industry, but most of them originated from applications of thin sheet metal forming with blank holder. There are few researches on blank design methods of thick-plate metal forming without blank holder, which process has two characteristics: workpiece thinning locally and severely, workpiece inside surface not contacting with top punch because of local bulk deforming. An optimum blank design method is proposed in this paper for the thick-plate metal forming without blank holder. This method consists of two stages: the initial blank design stage and the blank optimization stage. The first stage is to obtain initial blank shape using Inverse Finite Element Approach (IFEA) from the middle-thick layer of 3D model of target part. In the second stage, firstly, simulate and obtain deformed workpiece by forward finite element analysis; then calculate the shape error between deformed workpiece and target part, and the indicator △ of optimization procedure; finally, correct the blank shape by the feedback of shape error until the indicator △ is smaller than tolerance. In order to verify the proposed method, a reverse arm bracket is investigated.
Integrated Map-matching Algorithm Based on Fuzzy Logic and Dead Reckoning
Yan-Lan Yang,Hua Ye,Shu-Min Fei 제어로봇시스템학회 2010 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2010 No.10
Based on the concept of fuzzy logic, a new map-matching algorithm was proposed to reduce the GPS positioning error by means of position correction in use of the digital map. Firstly, three fuzzy rules are introduced in different aspects which may influent the credibility judgment of the best matching road. And the corresponding membership functions are defined in details separately for sub-evaluations of the direction consistency, the proximity and the track similarity against the original GPS position and its candidate road, where dead reckoning technique is referred. Secondly, the comprehensive evaluation performing as the unique basis for final judgment is made by doing simple addition of the results of these sub-evaluations with certain weights according to their contributions towards the credibility judgment. Finally, the original GPS position is revised by making a vertical projection onto the best matching road. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness and applicability of this algorithm in improving the GPS positioning accuracy.

This study describes recent trends in incidence, survival and prevalence of subgroups of esophageal and gastric cancer in Linzhou city between 2003 and 2009. Data of esophageal and gastric cancer for the period of interest were extracted from the Linzhou Cancer Registry. Using information on tumor morphology or anatomical site, data were divided into six groups; esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, esophageal adenocarcinoma, other and unspecified types of esophageal cancer, and cardia, non-cardia, and unspecified anatomical site of stomach cancer. Incidence, survival and prevalence rates for each of the six cancer groups were calculated. The majority of esophageal cancers were squamous cell carcinomas (82%). Cardiac cancer was the major gastric cancer group (64%). The incidence of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and gastric cardiac cancer increased between 2003 and 2009. Both esophageal and gastric cancer had a higher incidence in males compared with females. Overall survival was poor in all sub-groups with 1 year survival ranging from 45.9 to 65.6% and 5 year survival ranging from 14.7 to 30.5%. Prevalence of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and gastric cardiac cancer was high (accounting for 80% overall). An increased focus on prevention and early diagnosis, especially in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and gastric cardiac cancer, is required.

Min-Yu Lan,Hui-Chen Lin,Tsung-Hui Hu,Shu-Fang Chen,Chien-Hung Chen,Yung-Yee Chang,King-Wah Chiu,Tsu-Kung Lin,Shun-Sheng Chen 대한신경과학회 2023 Journal of Clinical Neurology Vol.19 No.1
Background and Purpose Oral nucleos(t)ide analogs (NAs) are the mainstay treatment for chronic hepatitis B (CHB). Myotoxicity is an important extrahepatic effect related to NA treatment. Telbivudine is the NA for CHB that is frequently associated with muscle-related side effects. The risk factors for telbivudine-induced myopathy (TIM) are not yet clear. Methods This study characterized the clinical, magnetic resonance images (MRI), and pathological features of 12 TIM cases. A group of telbivudine-tolerant (TT) patients with CHB who received regular telbivudine treatment during the same period without the occurrence of myopathy was collected. Demographic and clinical factors were compared between the patients with TIM and the TT controls. Factors independently associated with TIM were identified using logistic regression analysis. Results The patients with TIM (males/females: 7/5, mean age: 57 years) developed myopathy after using telbivudine for a median period of 19.5 months. Muscle histopathology revealed abnormal proliferation, subsarcolemmal or sarcoplasmic accumulations, and ultrastructural defects of mitochondria. When compared with TT cases, patients with TIM had a lower estimated glomerular filtration rate and were more frequently positive for hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg). Conclusions Mitochondrial abnormalities are characteristic histopathological features, and impaired renal function and HBeAg positivity are risk factors for TIM. Telbivudine-induced mitochondrial dysfunction and immune activation related to mitochondrial damage and HBeAg serostatus changes may underlie TIM. Constant clinical surveillance of myopathy during telbivudine treatment is needed due to the significant latency of its development. Dose adjustment for impaired renal function does not eliminate the risk of TIM occurrence.

Zhang, Zhihua,Shu, Lan,Zheng, Jun,Yang, Yuling Korean Mathematical Society 2013 대한수학회보 Vol.50 No.2
Let X be a Banach space and ${\psi}$ a continuous convex function on ${\Delta}_{K+1}$ satisfying certain conditions. Let $(X{\bigoplus}X{\bigoplus}{\cdots}{\bigoplus}X)_{\psi}$ be the ${\psi}$-direct sum of X. In this paper, we characterize the K strict convexity, K uniform convexity and uniform non-$l^N_1$-ness of Banach spaces using ${\psi}$-direct sums.
