N/A Hobnail hemangioma(HH)is a benign acquired vascular tumor of endothelial origin which should be differentiated from other malignant vascular neoplasm such as Kaposi`s sarcoma or angiosarcoma.We report a case of hobnail hemangioma in a 21-year-old woman who had a dusky-red patch on her left shin.Histologically,ectatic vascular channels with a single layer of plumped endothelial cells were seen and the vascular channels seemed to dissect the collagen bundles.She underwent treatment with surgical excision with primary closure. (Ann Dermatol 14(1)45-47, 2002).

In this study, a fiber-optic bundle sensor has been developed using water-equivalent organic scintillating fibers for photon beam measurement. Beam penumbra and percent depth doses(PDD) are measured according to the depth of the photon beam. This sensor has many advantages such as high resolution, real-time measurement and ease of calibration over conventional radiation measurement devices.

국가의 자율성과 상호성에 대한 소고 : 냉전기 한미관계의 사례 The Case of U.S.-South Korean Relations in the Cold War

여기서 우리는 국가주도형인 위의 두 사례와 시민사회형 정권의 사례를 비교해 볼 필요가 있다. 그 속성상 시민사회형 정권은 국가주도형 정권에 비해 미약한 내부적 자율성을 보유하게 되며 다양한 사회 집단, 여론, 언론 등의 역할이 외교정책 결정에 주요한 변수로 작용한다. 따라서 이론적 적용에 있어서도 국제체제나 국가 중심의 이론보다는 사회 중심의 이론이 설명력을 갖게 되는 것이다. 2공화국의 국가는 그 체제의 정당성으로 말미암아 표면상 상당한 정도의 국내적, 국제적 상호성을 획득한 것으로 간주되었으나 자율성의 면에 있어서는 대내외적으로 모두 취약한 면을 보여주었다. 장면 정부는 대외정책의 전개에서 부분적으로 중립주의를 표방한 자주외교의 노선을 견지하였지만. 실제적으로는 대부분 미국의 정책에 순응하는 입장을 취했고 이는 국내 경제정책의 경우에도 잘 나타난다. 그러나 장면 내각의 정치적 알력과 사회적 반박, 즉 2공화국의 국내적 자율성의 부재는 이러한 정책의 효율적 이행을 가능케 하지 않았으며 한일회담 전개의 난항은 그 전형적인 예라 할 수 있다. 즉 이시기의 국내적 상호성의 확대는 다른 한편으로 국가의 정책적 자율성의 기반을 위협하게 되었던 것이다. 현재의 김영삼 정부의 대외정책 수행도 시민사회형 정권의 또 다른 시험대를 제공한다. 민주화의 상대적 진전에 따른 내부적인 자율성과 상호성의 새로운 모색의 필요와 함께 최근의 세계적 흐름은 한국의 외부적인 자율성화 상호성의 재정립을 요구하고 있다. 한미관계도 이전의 양극성과 미국의 패권 하의 일원적인 안보협력 관계의 틀을 넘어서서 탈냉전의 영향 아래 다원적인 협력과 경쟁의 양상을 보여준다. 또한 기존 쌍무관계의 방식은 이제 세계적, 지역적 수준의 다자적 협력이라는 새로운 행위 유형과의 관계 속에서 변화하고 있다. 그러나 현 시점의 한국의 외교정책 결정에 있어 자율성과 상호성에 대한 고려는 아직까지 일관성을 결여한 과도기적인 특성을 나타낸다. 과거 한국정부의 대미관계는 구조적인 틀 안에서의 일시적인 자율성의 추구, 타율성의 수용이나 순응, 외부적 연계를 통한 내부적 자율성의 증대의 모습을 보여주었다. 그리고 협의의 국가 이익(state interest)이 강조되는 이러한 과정에서 대외정책에 필요한 포괄적인 내부적 상호성의 측면이 경시되었다. 또한 2공화국의 사례는 단순한 정당성의 획득이 정책적인 자율성이나 상호성의 확립을 보장해 주지 않는다는 것을 알게 해준다. 구조적 제약 하에서의 상대적인 외부적 자율성과 상호성의 모색이 강대국이 아닌 대부분 나라의 외교정책의 목표이고 그러한 정책의 결정과 수행은 어느 정도의 내부적 자율성을 필요로 한다는 전제가 공유될 수 있다면 앞으로의 방향은 어떻게 내부적 상호성에 대한 합의를 도출하는가 하는 점에 초점이 맞추어져야 할 것으로 생각된다. 즉 정책적 자율성을 중시하는 Krasner류의 강성국가의 개념에 사회적인 통합이 강조되는 Buzan식의 강성국가 개념이 같이 고려되어야 하는 것이다. 이러한 결합이 요즈음 논의되는 민주화와 외교정책. 구조와 자율의 문제에 대한 건설적인 해답을 구하는 데 있어 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다. 앞서 지적된 바와 같이 새로운 개념의 사용은 현재의 국제정치이론이 보여주는 개념적인 혼돈 상태를 더욱 가중시킬 런지도 모른다. 하지만 우리는 국가에 대한 이러한 다층적인 개념을 원용함으로써 대외정책의 수행에 있어 대내적인 합의와 대외적인 독립성의 범주를 단순히 전제하고 있는 기존 현실주의 이론의 문제점을 극복할 수 있는 가능성을 모색할 수 있다. 따라서 국가행위에 관한 좀 더 정교한 미시이론을 구축하는 것은 국제정치이론이 갖는 적실성을 증대시키는 데 있어서 중요한 의미를 갖게 되는 것이다.

운동선수의 학업 성취 격차 요인에 관한 연구

This attempted to investigate some factors that may influence on the athlete’s academic achievement. Total of 243 male and 133 female athletes who are enrolled in Seoul physical Education High School were recruited as subjects to fulfill the purpose of this study. The refined inventory measure were delivered to the subjects and their responses were analyzed by correlation and multiple-regression in order to examine the significant factors and those effect. Some evidences were found from this study are as following: 1. Socio-Economic Status(SES) factor showed significant correlation but Teacher-Student Interaction(t-SI) and Perceived School Climate(psc) factors showed non-significant correlation. 2. Educational Input Factor possessed greater effect on athlete’s academic achievement than Educational Process Factor did. 3. Family income was the most significant sub-variable of Socio-Economic Status factor that affected on athlete’s academic achievement. 4. Significant others’ expectation and evaluation of his/her present ability was most robust sub-variable of Perceived School Climate(PSC) that influenced on athlete’s academic achievement.

Chitinase를 생산하는 Pseudomonas sp. YS-542의 분리 및 특성

A chitinase-producing bacterium was isolated from soil by selective enrichmentment culture medium. The bacterium was identified as Pseudomonas sp. based on the data obtained from its morphological, cultural and biochemical characteristics. The isolated strain was named Pseudomonas sp. YS-542. The medium for the production of chitinase was consisted of colloidal chitin 1.0%, tryptone 1.0%, MgS04·7H2O 0.2%, K2HP04 0.1%. The optimum cultural temperature, initial pH and time for the best production of chitinase were 25℃, 48hrs and pH 8.0, respectively.

중·고등학교에서의 스포츠와 사회적 지위

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between sports and social status in Korean Secondary education and school spirit It was also intended to compare results of this study with those of previous studies in foreign literatures. The subjects of this study were (n=896) cluster sampled in Seoul. The questionnaire constructed based on colaman (1961), Eitzen (1976), and Thirer & Wright (1985) were distributed to the subjects. The data were statistically analyzed using χ²at α level 0.05. In comparison with results of previous studies of North America, the results obtained from this study were as follows: 1. The social status in secondary male students was closely related to academic work, leading activity, social background and sports in that order. 2. The social status in secondary female students was closely related to leading activity, academic work, social background and sports in that order. 3. The social status determinant of female students viewed by male students was appearance, leading activity, academic work, social background, and sports in that order. 4. The social status determinant of male students viewed by female students was leading activity, academic work, appearance, social background, and sports in that order. 5. The school spirit determinant in secondary male students was educational environments tradition, entrance rate, sports team, and the others in that order. 6. The school spirit determinant in secondary female students was educational environments sports team, entrance rate, tradition, and the others in that order. It is concluded that sports does not evaluate the social status of participants unlike North America in Korean secondary education.

Bacillus cereus IAM1072의 Pullulanase에 관한 硏究. 第一報 Pullulanase의 精製

These experiments were performed to investigate some properties of Pullulanase from Bacillus cereus IAM 1072. The results obtained were as follows; 1.The optimum culture time and initial pH were 60hrs and pH 6.5, respectively. 2.The crude enzyme was purified by ammonium sulfate fractionation, two times of DEAE-cellulose and CM-cellulose column chromatography. The specific activity of the purified enzyme was 2.55u/mg protein and the yield of enzyme activity was 11.04%. 3.The purified enzyme showed a single band on polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. 4.In the early stage of reaction, maltotriose and small amounts of oligosaccharides(hexa, nona and dodeccasaccharide) were detected. However, in later stage of reaction, only maltotriose was detected. 5.Molecular weight of the purified enzyme was estimated to be approximately 132,000 by SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and 135,000 by Sephadex G-100 gel filtration, and isoelectric point of it was appeared to pH 4.2

體育의 潛在的 敎育課程에 관한 理論的 考察

The hidden curriculum, as a new field, has become remarkable because it could provide an extensive impact upon educational revolution in theoretical and practical aspects. But, the hidden curriculum, which relates to affective domain, has neglected respectively in physical education. Thus it may be necessary that we understand its contents and methods for effective change of students behavior through physical activities. From this point of view, theoretical inquiries of the hidden curriculum are absolutely needed. Also, curriculum in physical education should be comprised and carried out on the basis of this hidden curriculum for its furthur development, because the hidden curriculum plays an important role of formulating teacher's behavioral model and casual & effects of their expectancy. Teacher behavior, facilities, and procedures and control of class, have more influence on curriculum in physical education rather than in other disciplines. Therefore, on the basis of this study, detailed cases and effects of the hidden curriculum in physical education should be found out for the development of the hidden curriculum in Korea.
