        Angioedema with eosinophilia (AE) is a very rare allergy disease, case reports of which have been published sporadically since 1984. Here, we retrospectively analyzed the clinical features of 10 AE patients in Korea. Nine of the 10 subjects were young females, ranging from 23 to 38 years old. Twenty percent of the subjects had episodic-type AE with high serum IgM and eosinophil counts, while 80% were non-episodic type with normal serum IgM levels but high eosinophil counts. All patients had used systemic corticosteroids to control AE. One patient with refractory EAE was treated with anti-IgE antibody. This is the first study to evaluate the clinical characteristics of AE in a Korean population.

        Effects of detraining on motor unit potential area, muscle function and physical performance based on CNTF gene polymorphism

JENB., Vol. 18, No. 2, pp.151-160, 2014 [Purpose] The purpose of this studywas to identify the effect of detraining on motor unit potential area (SMUP), muscular function and physical performance, accordingto CNTF gene polymorphism. [Methods] For this study, GG (normal homozygote, n = 8) group and GA + AA (mutation heterozygoteand homozygote, n = 10) group were divided by CNTF gene polymorphism and both groups were performed detraining for 4weeks. The data was analyzed by two-way repeated measures ANOVA for verifying the differences between two groups andinteraction using SPSS(ver. 20.0) statistical program. [Results] The results were as follows. First, changes in body compositionwere measured but there was no significant interaction effect between time and group. Seconds, changes in SMUP were measuredby SEMG. Interaction effect between time and group was found lateral vastus during isokinetic exercise of 180°/sec (p<.05). Third, changes in isokinetic muscle strength of 60°/sec and 180°/sec were measured but there was no significant interaction effect. Fourth, significant statistical differences were not showed changes of sports performance after detraining. [Conclusion] In conclusion, there were no significantly differences between GG and GA + AA group after detraining, therefore, further study will be considereda matter in various its interventions such as serum levels of CNTF and changes in receptors and muscle fiber types.       • 초등음악 수업을 위한 기초 반주법 학습과정 연구

        본 논문에서는 바람직한 초등음악교육의 활성화를 위해 교사들의 반주능력을 향상시키고자 초등학교 음악교과서를 바탕으로 한 기초적인 반주법을 구성하고 제안했다. 제안되어진 반주법은 건반악기 연주 능력이 부족한 교사를 대상으로 3단계 과정으로 구성되어 있는데 1단계 - 5음음계와 단음반주, 2단계 - 완성된 음계를 바탕으로 한 화음반주, 그리고 3단계 - 다양한 반주패턴을 활용한 반주의 과정이다. 모든 단계는 장•단조의 조성체계를 바탕으로 하고 있으며 1단계는 3그룹으로 음계를 나누어 익힐 수 있도록 제안하고 있는데 1그룹은 C장•단조/ G장•단조, 2그룹은 D장•단조/ A장•단조/ F장•단조, 3그룹은 Eb장•단조/ Bb장•단조이다. 2단계는 테트라코드, 온음계 익히기, 그리고 화음반주 과정을 포함하고 있으며 마지막 3단계는 전 단계를 바탕으로 다양한 반주패턴들의 활용을 제안하고 있다. A ultimate end of elementary music class is to provide students with a diverse and pleasant musical experience based on a developed appreciation of music. Singing helps elementary students to share experiences; thus, teachers must have the ability teach and practice a song with appropriate and adequate accompaniment. Many teachers, however, lack the ability to use a keyboard instrument, and so they use some tapes, compact disks, or computer software to teach a song. This can lead to serious problems, for teachers are unable to interact with the music or provide the sensual experience that our children need. Instead, this 'hands-on' experience is replaced with a less satisfactory. but convenient mechanical sound. To revitalize elementary music education, this study has attempted to develop an accompaniment technique - based on a music textbook - to increase the teachers' accompaniment skill. The technique is comprised of three procedures: the first step is a five-note scale pattern, monotone accompaniment; the second step is a chord accompaniment based on a whole scale; and the third step is an accompaniment utilizing a diverse pattern. These steps are based on a major and minor system. In the first step, the scale is learned through its division into three groups: the first group is a C Major/Minor and G Major/Minor; the second group is a D Major/Minor and an A Major/Minor and F Major/Minor; the third group is a Eb Major/Minor and Bb Major/Minor. The second step proposes the practicing of the chord accompaniment using a tetrachord and a diatonic scale. The final step involves exercising the various patterns of accompaniment using the previous steps. The study aims to help for teachers or teachers-in-training who have difficulty in keyboard instrument. Futher study is needed to refine the accompaniment techniques and procedures of traditional children's songs.

        ‘갈바니 전지’와 ‘전해 전지’에 대한 웹 기반 시뮬레이션을 활용한 수업의 학업 성취도 연구

        이 연구에서는 일반화학을 수강하는 학생을 대상으로 ‘갈바니 전지’와 ‘전해 전지’에 대한 웹 기반 시뮬레이션 프로그램을 개발․적용하여, 웹 기반 시뮬레이션을 활용한 수업(실험반)이 전통적인 강의식 수업(통제반)과 비교하여 학업 성취도에 있어서 차이가 있는지 알아보았다. 수업 처치 후 통제반과 실험반의 학업 성취도를 분석한 결과, 실험반의 학업 성취도가 통계적으로 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나타났다(p<.05). 특히, 웹 기반 시뮬레이션을 활용한 수업은 ‘염다리에서 전하의 흐름 방향’과 ‘전해 전지에서 반쪽 반응 및 전체 반응’을 학습하는데 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 수업 처치 전․후에 오답 변화를 살펴보면, 웹 기반 시뮬레이션을 활용한 수업을 통하여 ‘염다리에서 전하의 흐름과 염다리의 역할’과 ‘전해 전지에서 반쪽 반응 및 전체 반응’ 문항에서 대부분의 오답이 사라졌다. 따라서 웹 기반 시뮬레이션 학습은 상황 시뮬레이션과 설명 상자와 같은 멀티미디어적 효과가 좋은 학습 내용에서 효과가 있는 것으로 보인다. The purpose of this study is to develope the Web-based simulation program and to examine its effect on the science achievement on the Web-based simulation. The web-based simulation program on 'galvanic cell' and 'electrolysis cell' in the general chemistry was developed for this purpose. Pre- and post-test modified and complemented from Sanger and Greenbowe's test were taken by 46 sophomore students; 23 for the control group and 23 for the experimental group. Test contains 4 questions on the galvanic cell, 3 questions on the salt bridge and 4 questions on the electrolysis cell. The results of this study are as follows: First, there is significant difference between the control group and experimental group in the electrochemical cells achievement(p<.05). Secondly, the web-based simulation learning is more effective in learning the current flow in salt bridge and half reaction in cathode in a electrolysis cell.

        부산대학가 외식 유형과 고객 선호도 연구

        Changes in eating culture patterns has been observed among modern Koreans from seeking out traditional types of eating out restaurant to the modern, luxurious, and hybrid food. This study aimed to investigate the patterns of eating out and preference of food in Pusan National University(PNU) area, representing typical patterns of eating out in Pusan. Data revealed that the most popular places in which the subjects visited were Korean traditional restaurants and snack bars. The names of the places were in trendy style of Korean connotation, with intention to appeal to the new generation. The interviewee reported that decision making on choice of places were made by taste, price, and service in that order. The frequency of eating out was once in two or three days, Korean traditional restaurants, noodle shops, and restaurants offering fusion food being the place of choice. Preferred reasons for the PNU area were reported to be low price, followed by variety of food offered and geographical accessibility to the places. Most of the interviewees in the area were satisfied with the taste of food and service quality. A list of food they were willing to introduce to oversea foreigners included raw fish. Dongrae Pajon, Pulgoki, Kimchi and dog soup in that sequence. The results of survey indicator that changes in the eating out environment in Pusan were improvement of service quality, development of new recipes, improvement of hygiene standards and development of area-specific food. The results may also act as a guide in changing the eating out environment and developing tourism in Pusan.

        울산시 주민의 건강을 위한 식행동 조사 연구

        This is a descriptive study of consumption patterns of how to take meals in everyday life. The data used was collected from a probability sample by multi-stage cluster sampling, drawn from those who were living in the Ulsan Metropolitan Area. Face-to-face interviews were conducted by trained interviewers with a household member who was between the ages of 15 and 60 in 1989 and had the earliest birthday, resulting in a sample of 1.232 respondents. Univariate and bivariate analyses were made to describe behavioral patterns of taking meals. Meal-taking behaviors under this study include frequency of taking meals per day, regularity of taking meals, which meal to skip, number of frequency of taking a meal by oneself, reasons of skipping and irregular meals, and eating out. Half of the respondents reported to take meals three times a day, while those who skipped at least a meal reported breakfast as one most frequently skipped. Of reasons not to take a meal on a regular basis, "too busy to eat" was most frequently mentioned. Only 32.8% of the respondents reported dining-out once a week.

      • 초등학교 학생의 정보 처리 유형과 인지 양식에 따른 과학 문제 해결

        이 연구는 초등학교 6학년 235명을 대상으로 학생의 정보 처리 유형과 인지 양식에 따른 과학 문제 해결 정도를 알아보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학생들은 두 가지 정보 처리 방식에서 높은 점수를 받을수록 과학 성취 문항과 창의적 문제해결 문항을 잘 해결하였다. 그리고 동시적 정보 처리 검사에서 높은 점수를 받을수록 과학개념 이해 문항을 잘 해결하였다. 둘째, 학생들이 장독립적 성향이 높을수록 과학 성취 문항과 창의적 문제해결 문항을 잘 해결하였다. 그리고 과학개념 이해 문항의 해결에서는 특히 좀 더 높은 장독립적 성향이 요구되었다. 마지막으로, 정보 처리 유형에 따른 인지 양식의 분포에 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 학생들이 두 가지 정보 처리 방식에서 높은 점수를 받을수록 그들의 인지 양식은 장독립적 성향이 높았다. The purpose of this study was to find out the degree of science problem solving by the information processing types and cognitive styles of 235 6th grade students. The results of this study were as follows. First, as the students got higher scores in the two types of information processing, they could solve more science achievement items and creative problem solving items correctly. And as the students got higher scores in simultaneous information processing test, they could solve more scientific concept understanding items. Secondly, as the students were more field-independent, they could solve more science achievement items and creative problem solving items. And especially in solving scientific concept understanding items, much higher field-independence was required. Finally, there was a significant difference on the distributions of cognitive styles by the information processing types. As the students got higher scores in the two types of information processing, their cognitive style tended to be more field-independent.

        부산지역 대학생들의 대학가 음식문화 실태조사 연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate a dietary life style of university student at campus towns and the actual condition of F&B(Food and Beverage) shop. This survey about the dietary was carried out with a variety of questionares about the life style. The subjects are 364 males and 278 females university students in Pusan area. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS Package Program. The summary of the results are as follows : The most of the subjects have a meal in-campus restaurant with rice during daytime. In out-campus popular restaurant is a flouryfood restaurant and the most of subject used to go the restaurant to take a meal more than once for 2~3 days. Although a half of the subjects are satisfied with the restaurant in out-campus. Some of the subjects are unsatisfied with a price of food. A taste is the most popular criteria for selecting food in the restaurant and almost of the subjects take a meal in price 2,000~2,500won. Cchachangmyun is the most popular with the subject in the flouryfood restaurant, coffee is popular with the subject in the coffee shop. A half of the subjects used to go a hof house to drink, and beer is the most popular liquor with them. More than a half of the subject have a drinking at least more than once for a week in the drinking shop. A half of male subjects are able to drink more than 2,000cc beer and more than a half of female subjects are able to drink more than 500cc beer. More than a half of the subjects want to new F&B shop to got a new experience.

      • 효과적인 우유 섭취지침에 관한 연구

        Over the past decade, there has been growing scientific evidence that dietary milk plays a role in beneficial effects for human health. Milk provides a number of good ingredients, in particular with growth factors and different types of proteins such as α -lactalbumin and β-casein. As well as essential amino acids of leucine and isoleucine are make to a positive way of human physical conditions. Therefore, those ingredients are directly involved in the human body, fluid composition and involved in metabolism of protein or carbohydrate. In addition, the development of physical strength and bone health associated with milk consumption. Thus, milk is one of good food for prevention of osteoporosis. Nowadays, several dietary guidelines suggest that people should intake two or three cups of dairy products including milk a day. However, some people cannot drink milk because they appear many adverse effects with regard to intake of milk like allergic reactions, lactose intolerance and weight gain problem. Consequently, it is worthy to discuss about these matters. Person pose the health problems regarding milk consumption should select dairy products carefully. Milk substitutes such as partially-hydrolyzed formula, yogurt, cheese and non- and low-fat dairy products are suggested. They prevent the allergy and lactose intolerance due to lactase in fermented milk digesting the lactose into glucose and galactose. Taking all of these into account, milk consumption is very important to maintain the human health. Although there are several adverse effects with regard to milk consumption, it would not be shown any health problem only if it follows the milk dietary guidelines. Therefore, a milk drinking should be actively encouraged for the public health.

      • 막증식 사구체신염으로 발현한 루푸스 신염 1례

        전신성 홍반성 낭창(systemic lupus erythematosus, SLE)은 비정상적으로 증가한 병원성 자가 항체와 면역복합체에 의한 조직 및 세포의 손상을 특징으로 하는 자가 면역성 질환으로, 다양한 자가 항체와 면역복합체는 신장을 포함한 모든 장기를 침범할 수 있다. 신장을 침범한 전신성 홍반성 낭창은 단백뇨, 현미경적 혈뇨, 고혈압과 신기능 이상을 발현할 수 있다. 저자들은 초기 임상적으로 막증식 사 구체신염(membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis, MPGN)의 임상소견으로 발현하여, 검사 상 전신성 홍반성 낭창과 조직학적으로 MPGN 소견을 보인 여자 환아를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.
