Hydatid disease imposing serious threat on human health and great loss in live¬stock pastoralism remains a major public health problem in western China. To assess and monitor the effect of control program on transmission dynamics, we used the prevalence of cystic echinococcosis in slaughtered sheep at slaughterhouse as an indicator during the period of 2007 to 2013 in Emin County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China. The results showed a significant decline trend of prevalence in all age groups during the 7 years when the control program was implemented; particularly, the rate was reduced by 72% after first 3 years. Among the sheep slaughtered, the age distribution evidenced that the prevalence increased significantly as the sheep grew older. The baseline data indicated that the rate was 4.5% at the age <1, 6.7% at age 2~, and reached to the highest 17.9% at age ≥4 years. Earlier response to the intervention pressure was seen in the sheep at the younger age. Significant decline started from 2008 at the age <1, from 2009 at age of 1~, 2010 at 2~ to 3~, and the latest, in 2012 at age ≥4. This study demonstrated that the prevalence of cystic echinococcosis in slaughtered sheep may be used as an indicator to assess and monitor the transmission status during and after control program providing information for betterment of performance to sustain control strength.
Analysis of the main consensus protocols of blockchain

Blockchain is the core technology of many cryptocurrencies. Blockchain as a distributed ledger technology has received extensive research attention. In addition to cryptography and P2P (peer-to-peer) technology, consensus protocols are also a fundamental part of the blockchain technology. A good consensus protocol can guarantee the fault tolerance and security of the blockchain systems. The consensus protocols currently used in most blockchain systems can be broadly divided into two categories: the probabilistic-finality consensus protocols and the absolute-finality consensus protocols. This paper introduces some of the main consensus protocols of these two categories, and analyzes their strengths and weaknesses as well as the applicable blockchain types.
Rapid Screen of IL-5/IL-5Rα Blocking Antibodies in the HEK293-IL-5Rα-CSF2RB Transfected Cell Line

Interleukin-5 (IL-5) binding to interleukin-5 receptor subunit alpha (IL-5Rα) increases the number of eosinophils and enhances eosinophil activity. This leads to eosinophil tissue infiltration and damage to the lungs, ultimately resulting in exacerbation of asthma. Antibodies that block IL-5 binding to IL-5Rα are thought to play an important role in advanced asthma. Currently, key methods used to screen for targeted drugs are Surface Plasmon Resonance which is costly and anti-proliferation assays which are tedious and have a low signal-to-noise ratio. Here we describe a Fluorescence Activated Cell Sorting (FACS) assay, based on human embryonic kidney (HEK)- 293 cells with stable expression of IL-5Rα and the cytokine receptor common subunit beta (CSF2RB). Cells co-expressing IL-5Rα and CSF2RB had a 16% increase in the ability to bind IL-5 compared to cells expressing only IL-5Rα. The optimal concentration of IL-5 for the FACS assay was 0.1 μg/mL. The established FACS was used to screen anti IL-5 nanobodies and hybridoma supernatants for candidate antibodies that block the IL-5/IL-5α interaction. When compared to anti-proliferation assays, this method saved up to 90% of the assay time, offering the advantage of rapidity and accuracy in vitro. The assay described here provides a novel approach for rapid screening of IL-5/IL- 5Rα blocking antibodies in vitro to accelerate the development of drugs for asthma.

Path-following techniques of ships have received a lot of attention in recent years, to promote future autonomous ships and develop advanced autopilots. This paper deals with the path-following problem of underactuated ships without having prior knowledge regarding the hydrodynamic coefficients and ship parameters. A novel data-driven control strategy that combines Koopman operator theory and extended dynamic mode decomposition (EDMD) method and integrates with a model predictive control (MPC) framework is proposed. It makes use of data collected from experiments to learn the Koopman eigenfunctions of unknown ship dynamics via supervised learning, which are utilized as the lifting functions in the EDMD method to build a linear, lifted state-space model. The identified linear model acts as the predictor in the designed MPC controller, and a line-of-sight (LOS) algorithm is introduced as the guidance law for path-following. Simulation results show that the prediction model could provide sufficient prediction accuracy, and that it can be combined with MPC to achieve good path-following performance in a computationally efficient way.

It researches how to build a distributed data service platform based on REST architecture in the digital oilfield. In oil enterprise, the data are scattered in the isolated system among various department. Due to the management issue, all the database and interface standards and technologies of departmental system are incompatible to each other. With the continuous expansion of exploration and research, the demand for enterprise data integration platform is tremendous increased. In this paper, we propose a data integration based on REST style data interface. It focuses on the REST interface with HATEOAS constraint and the distributed transaction model driven by REST interface. The data integration platform specifically has solved the sharing and integration issues as well as the transactional problem across heterogeneous system in the oilfield enterprise.

The mechanical characteristics of materials are the key to numerical calculation, thedetermination of material parameters of jointed rock mass is conundrum in academia. For thepurpose of more efficiently and accurately select the mechanical parameters of the jointedrock masses, in this paper, a new method is proposed which for constructing a numericalmodel of jointed rock masses, which based on the Geological Strength Index (GSI) and theprinciples of damage mechanics. With the help of basic concepts of damage mechanics, thejoint equivalent coefficient is proposed, establishing the relationship between GSI and jointspacing. The selection way for the mechanical parameters of a jointed rock masses is given incombination with the Hoek-Brown strength criterion. Then, a numerical calculation model isconstructed by utilizing 3DEC numerical simulation software to discuss the stability of theadjoining rock under the condition of different GSIs, which is successfully applied to theWangjialing coal mine project. The numerical results match quite closely with the fieldconditions, the maximum error is 18%, the minimum error is 5.6%, verifying the rationalityand accuracy of this way and providing a new way for the accurate numerical simulation ofjointed rock masses.
