Distributed Adaptive Control of Pinning Synchronization in Complex Dynamical Networks with Non-delayed and Delayed Coupling

Shaolin Li,Jinde Cao 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2015 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.13 No.5

This paper discusses the distributed adaptive control schemes for pinning synchronization in complex dynamical network with non-delayed and delayed coupling. An effective distributed adaptive strategy to adjust simultaneously coupling strength and feedback gains is designed based on information of the non-delayed network’s configuration. For a special case where the information of delay is available, a distributed adaptive scheme to tune the coupling weights of non-delayed coupling network is proposed by using the delayed feedback controllers. Based on the small-world network and scale-free network, simulation examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of theoretical analysis.

Facile synthesis and characterization of GO/ZnS nanocomposite with highly efficient photocatalytic activity

        Lingwei Li,Shaolin Xue,Pei Xie,Hange Feng,Xin Hou,Zhiyuan Liu,Zhuoting Xu,Rujia Zou 대한금속·재료학회 2018 ELECTRONIC MATERIALS LETTERS Vol.14 No.6

ZnS nanowalls, microspheres and rice-shaped nanoparticles have been successfully grown on graphene oxide (GO) sheets bythe hydrothermal method. The morphologies, structures, chemical compositions and optical properties of the as-synthesizedGO/ZnS have been characterized by X-ray power diff raction, energy dispersive spectrometer, scanning electron microscope,Raman spectra, photoluminescence spectroscopy and ultraviolet–visible absorption spectroscopy. It was found that theconcentration of CTAB and the reaction temperature were important in the formation of GO/ZnS microstructures. The photocatalyticactivity of the as-synthesized GO/ZnS was investigated through the photocatalytic degradation of textile dyeingwaste. Results showed that the catalytic activity of the GO/ZnS porous spheres to methyl orange and methylene blue is higherthan those of other samples. The degradation rates of methyl orange and methylene blue by porous spheres in 50 min were97.6 and 97.1%, respectively. This is mainly attributed to the large specifi c surface area of GO/ZnS porous spheres and highseparation effi ciency between photogenerated electron and hole pairs.

Effect of Sheep and Chicken Antibodies to Rat Adipocytes Plasma Membranes on Rat Carcass Fat

        Wang, Jundong,Zhang, Jianfeng,Li, Junping,Hao, Junhu,Wang, Shaolin,Zhang, Jianhai Asian Australasian Association of Animal Productio 2004 Animal Bioscience Vol.17 No.8

Polyclonal anti-sera were collected from sheep and chicken immunized with adipocytes plasma membranes. Thirty two male wistar rats, weighing 185-215 grams, were divided randomly into 4 groups (trial 1: control group and treat group, trial 2: control group and treat group), with 8 rats in each group. The experiment lasted for 7 weeks. Trial one: The control group received four consecutive daily intraperitoneal injections of 1ml of sheep normal sera. The same 4 day daily dose of group sheep anti-rats sera adipocyte plasma membrane anti-sera was administered to the treat group. The results showed that the treatment for treat group increased body weight by 6.35% (p<0.05) and food intake by 6.85%, and improved food conversion efficiency (Food intake/gain) by 45.00% (p<0.05). Periernal, epididymal and omental adipose deposit weights were decreased by 23.92% (p<0.05), 34.45% (p<0.05) and 0.98% respectively, while total fat content decreased by 20.92%. Trial two: The control group received four consecutive daily intraperitoneal injections of 1 ml of chicken normal sera, the results of injections of chicken anti-rats sera adipocyte plasma membrane antis-era administered to the treat group indicated that chicken anti-rats adipocyte plasma membranes immunization had an disadvantageous effect on the growth of the wistar rats by the end of 7th wk, compared with the control group. The immunized group decreased in total weight by 40 gram (p<0.05) an averagely and in food intake noticeably (p<0.01). The deposition of fat and the rates of TG and FFA in serum had no statistical significance.

Effect of Yeast Chromium and L-carnitine on Lipid Metabolism of Broiler Chickens

        Wang, Jundong,Du, Rong,Qin, Jian,Wang, Shaolin,Wang, Wenkui,Li, Hongquan,Pang, Quanhai Asian Australasian Association of Animal Productio 2003 Animal Bioscience Vol.16 No.12

A $3{\times}4$ (chromium and L-carnitine) experiment was designed to investigate the single and interactive effects of adding yeast Cr and L-carnitine to corn-soybean meal diets on lipid metabolism of broiler chickens. Four hundred and eighty one-day-old avian chickens were randomly allocated to 12 treatments of 40 each for 7 weeks. Levels of adding Cr were 0, 400, $600{\mu}g/kg$ and those of Lcarnitine was 0, 30, 50, 100 mg/kg, respectively. The result showed that adding $600{\mu}g/kg$ Cr or 100 mg/kg L-carnitine alone had better regulative effects on fat and cholesterol metabolism than lower adding levels. Effects were more significant at the end of the experiment. There were significantly interactive effects between Cr and L-carnitine on triaclyglycerol, whole cholesterol, HDL, dissociating FFA, and blood glucose, cholesterol and triaclyglycerol of liver, and cholesterol of chest muscle at the end of experiment (p=0.0001-0.0315). But Cr or L-carnitine had no significant effect on growth performance of broiler chickens (p>0.05).

A meso-scale approach to modeling thermal cracking of concrete induced by water-cooling pipes

        Chao Zhang,Wei Zhou,Gang Ma,Chao Hu,Shaolin Li 사단법인 한국계산역학회 2015 Computers and Concrete, An International Journal Vol.15 No.4

Cooling by the flow of water through an embedded cooling pipe has become a common and effective artificial thermal control measure for massive concrete structures. However, an extreme thermal gradient induces significant thermal stress, resulting in thermal cracking. Using a mesoscopic finite-element (FE) mesh, three-phase composites of concrete namely aggregate, mortar matrix and interfacial transition zone (ITZ) are modeled. An equivalent probabilistic model is presented for failure study of concrete by assuming that the material properties conform to the Weibull distribution law. Meanwhile, the correlation coefficient introduced by the statistical method is incorporated into the Weibull distribution formula. Subsequently, a series of numerical analyses are used for investigating the influence of the correlation coefficient on tensile strength and the failure process of concrete based on the equivalent probabilistic model. Finally, as an engineering application, damage and failure behavior of concrete cracks induced by a water-cooling pipe are analyzed in-depth by the presented model. Results show that the random distribution of concrete mechanical parameters and the temperature gradient near water-cooling pipe have a significant influence on the pattern and failure progress of temperature-induced micro-cracking in concrete.
