        This study focuses on the inspect of effective net area design code, according to limited state design criteria of steel structures, recently established in Korea, by an experiment on the joint of angle tension members on the ground. reduction factor. The methods of this study were to compare other study results on effective net area rupture mode and ultimate capacity, and to evaluate the propriety of the criteria design code. The result is that code in force limited state design criteria of steel structures and AISC-LRFD joint of angle tension members predicted load and experiment depend on ultimate capacity difference. Therefore, it is thought that there is need for supplemental test and study to effective net area of tension joint focused on bolted connection of angle.

      • FA/MA 방법에 의한 부산시 부유분진의 오염원 할당

        The object of this study was to identify source categories of Busan area through FA/MA methodology which contribute to the concentration of suspended particles at receptor. According to the purpose of this study, twenty-seven chemical species such as elements, anions, and total carbon of chirty-six PM10 and TSP data sets sampled at Bumchun receptor site for a 24hr period from May to Aug. 1992, were analyzed and applied to FA/MA model. From this study, the following conclusions were obtained. From the factor analysis for measured data, steel, mill-related, transportation, soil dust resuspension, marine, fuel oil, secondary aerosol source, and etc., of which total variance explained by the identified factors was calculated as 84 ∼ 91%, were identified. And the trend was shown that the more the number of input trace materials was, the more difficult the identifications of factors were, relatively. Selecting the representive tracers for identified factors based on the factor loadings, the following equations were obtained by use of stepwise method in multiple linear regression for the cases. TSP(㎍/㎥) = 27.996+0.033Mg +0.016Cl-+0.O05SO42 Case 1 TSP(㎍/㎥) = 11.779 + 2.013Ti + 0.034Na + 0.026Mg + 0.006ca Case 2 PM10(㎍/㎥) = 3.130+0.O04 SO42 +0.010 Cl- + 1.812Ti Case 1 PM10(㎍/㎥) = -14.028+1.515Ti +0.D38Na + 0.O09 Cl- + 0.003 SO42- Case 2 In comparison with the results of FA/MR model with the change of the newly added input tracers, the case with TSP showed relatively unstable results of factor analysis for the case studies because of insufficient number of data available to complete a factor analysis for the tracers used.

        Among the pros and cons for non-objective art, the analogy of the pure music is very important. But what is possible to the music is not always possible to the painting. There is a serious difference between spacial art and music-time-expression. One of the critics suggests that the thinness of non-objective painting is due to the relative shallowness of the space within which the painting is composed of. This may not be true. The shallowness is not of the space but of time. As the time is the essence of life, a tendency of retreat of humanty results in that sort of art. We can not underetand it without the knawlege of the back-round; the artist himself, his opinion, ism etc., separhtely from of art.

        깨달음의 교육의 탈현대적 의미

        The purpose of this article is to reveal the post-modern implications of the Buddha's education. The modern education falls in a crisis in the sense that it is for the industrial society. Its main purpose is to cultivate a worker. As the automation of production proceeds, the social needs for workers are being dramatically reduced. Modern education can not meet the needs of the future society. Therefore, we should look for a new type of education based on the new world views. The buddha's education can be one of the new types. It is based on a view of the world as unity(統一體的 世界觀). A view of the world as unity assumes that everything in the world is united. In other words, an individual involves the whole. Therefore, by the realization of oneself(an individual), we can realize the whole cosmos(the whole). Buddha tried to lead his disciples to awake the oneness of the world. He taught to throw away the small self. When we do it, the great and cosmic self emerges. We can live hamonic life with our friends and nature. It is the change of the dimension of our life. By following the Buddha's teaching, we can be very beautiful being. By changing our existential level, we can change the world. The buddha's education based on a view of the world as unity is very old but it has new meanings in building post-modern civilization. The modern education becomes outmoded. It does not fit to imfomation society. In future society, we do not need so many workers. The fundamental goal of the education should be changed. To who produces only a little and wastes only a little, and to build a man who pursue the awakening the Tao and does not pusue the more possessions and consumtions should be the fundamental goals of the education in future society. The buddha's education can provide us with fluent ideas for that purpose.

      • 인접평균 알고리즘과 웨이블릿 변환을 이용한 워터마킹 방법

        A new and efficient blind watermarking technique is proposed in this paper. The original image is transformed to frequency domain using wavelet transform, and the watermark is embedded to mid-frequency area via neighbor's meal value algorithm. This algorithm is a kind of blind watermarking technique, and embeds watermark using neighbor's mean value. According to the mean value, the watermark is embedded selectively and a flag is generated. We tested the robustness of this technique using JPEG compression, collusion, noise addition, and resize attacks. The results show the proposed method have good characteristics such as good watermarked image quality, robustness to various attacks.

        0.412 MeV 감마선에 대한 원주형 NaI(Tl) 섬광체의 총 절대검출효율 계산

        Total absolute detection efficiencies of a 7.62 cm(dia.) and 7.62 cm(height) cylindrical NaI(Tl) crystal have been calculated for 0.412 MeV r -rays from a source(point, circular disk, square and line type). In this calculation the linear energy-absorption coefficients based on Hubbell's data have been considered and then calculated total absolute detection efficiencies compared with those from Grosjean and Bossaert. Besides, the source axis-to-detector axis shift distance which, could give rise to about 0.05% deviation in the total absolute detection efficiencies has been calculated for a line-type source of 0.5 cm in its length when a source-to-detector distance is 5 cm. It is revealed that the total absolute detection efficiencies obtained in this study are considerably different from those of Grosjean and Bossaert. In addition it is found that the deviation induced due to an imperfect center of a line type source may be within 0.05% if the shifted discrepancy is no larger than 1.74mm.

        외상성 뇌지주막하출혈을 동반한 두부외상 환자의 예후인자

        The presence of traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage on the initial computerized tomographic scans has been known to be associated with worse results. By means of a simple and reliable computerized tomographic grade system proposed by Greene and his colleagues, prognostic factors of the traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage was significantly related to clinical outcome at the time of discharge from acute hospitalization. Between February 1992 and August 1995, 3975 patients were admitted to our department of neurosurgery due to head injury. Clinical data were retrospectively reviewed to ascertain the relationship of the thickness of traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage, its location, evidence of mass lesion(s), midline shift, obliteration of the basal cistern, and cortical sulcal effacement to outcome. Additionally initial Glasgow coma scale score, arterial gas study systemic blood pressure and prothrombin time were also analyzed for the same purpose. Among 3975 head-injured patients. 213 patients were identified to have traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage on the initial computerized tomographic scan. Among 213 traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage patients, the patients treated with calcium channal blocker(32 patients) and 3 patients lost to follow-up were excluded from this study for a total of 178. The computerized tomographic scan findings were divided into a 3 grade system : Grade 1 indicating only traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage. Grade 2 indicating traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage with mass lesion(s). Grade 3 indicating traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage with mass lesion(s) and midline shift. All these data were compared to Glasgow outcome scale on discharge, and arbitarily these were divided into the good(good recovery and moderate disability) and the bad(severe disability, vegetative state and death). The authors conclude that the contributing factors to outcome at discharge were as follows : 1 midline shift(p=0.002), PT≤70%(p<0.001), obliteration of the basal cistern(p=0.001) and cortical sulcal effacement(p=0.001) were shown to the statistically significant. 2. initial computerized tomographic grade contributed to outcome at discharge.

        The present study was designed to examine the effect of sport-confidence on attributional perceptions across male and female fencers. Judo athletes reported their sport-confidence, attribution perceptions on Sport-Confidence Inventory. CDSⅡ(Causal Dimension Scale Ⅱ) According to the previous research findings related to the theme of the study, it was hypothesized that the independent variables of trait sport-confidence. state sport-confidence influence the dependent variable of attributional perceptions. and the relationships between the two kinds of variables were examined using two-way ANCOVA. The implications of the study are as follows : Firstly. Trait sport-confidence and state sport-confidence of judo athletes significantly affected the locus of contorl dimension. Secondly. Trait sport-confidence and state sport-confidence of judo athletes significantly affected the stability dimension. Thirdly, Trait sport-confidence and state sport-confidence of judo athletes significantly affected the contro lability dimension.

        두부손상시 발견된 뇌혈관질환

        Five separate incidences of patients with cerebrovascular disease(CVD) were revealed among 555 craniocerebral traumatic victims between 1991 and 1992. The 5 cases of with cerebrovascular disease revealed included 3 aneuryms. 1 arteriovenous malformation and 1 spontaneous intracerebral hematoma caused by angiographic study. The frequent use of computerized tomographic scans in the evaluation of head-injured victims can well demonstrate an intracerebral hemmorrhage, but may not get able to direct the associated cerebrovascular disease;whereas the efficacy of angiography, on the contrary, has been losing its popularity as diagnostic armamentarium. The importance of angiographic study should be considered, if clinical signs and/or brain CT ideate the possibility of cerebrovasular disease even during the course of head injury management.
