Ki kobong(1527~1572), ein Philosoph in der Zeit von Mieung Jong in Chosun-Dynastie. wurde in Kuangju Chonnam geboren. Sein Vater war Kijin, sein Onkel ist Kijun. Er bewahrte die Autoritat des Konfuzianismus und verehrte Jeung Po-eun, Kil ya-eun, Cho Jeung-am und Lee Toi-gae. Aber er war gegen Toigae in Beziehung auf den Neokonfuzianismus mit 32. Jahren. Am Ende seines Lebens lehrte er Seun-jo seine politische Gedanken, wurde der Prasident an der Seungkeunkan. Seine politischen Gedanken hat er in Nonsarok I.II. zusammengesetzt. Diese Abhandlung untersucht sein Nonsarok, demzufolge sind alle Menschen von der Natur gleich. Was er in den politischen Gedanken behauptete sind, ① mil der Menschlichkeit und Gerechtigkeit das verdordene Land zu retten. ② das Volk mit dem moralischen Gesetz zu regieren ③ den wirlklich redlichen Mannem die wichtigen Stellungen uberzugeben ④ die offentliche Meinung zuerlassen. Zusammengesagt, der eigentliche Zweck des Konfuzianismus liege sowohl in der theoretischen als auch in der praktischen. Obwohl das Lebensdauer Kobongs nicht so lang war, verwirklichte er die beiden Seiten der Philosophie, d.h. theoretischen und praktischen. Damit hat er auf Yulkok gorβen Einfluβ geubt. Er ist eider der groβten Philosophen des 16. Jahrhundert in Korea.

The Korean Neo-Confucianism was completed by four men. They are Toegae, Kobong, Yoolgok and Woogae. Toegae and Kobong discussed the philosphical problems with letters each other and this discussion continued eight years. Yoogok and Woogae took part in this discussion for one year. Their discussions occurred during the 16th century. After a while, finally they were divided into different schools. At that time, came the Neo-Confucianism to the summit and had a good foundation. What is the Lie and Kie? What is the nature of heaven and Moral? The occurrence is Kie, and the reason of occurrence is Lie. Without the Kie nothing can occurr, without the Lie, the Kie can not express. The origin of life lies in the conbination of Kie and Lie. If the Lie liegs individual things, it becomes the nature of human being, or a animal life. And if the nature of human being distinguishes, it becomes Lie of the heaven and the earth. Nothing is more important than my life. Usually men seeks for fame and wealth. The aim of the Korean Neo-Confucianism is a research of human being. The Neo-Confucianism is nothing but philosophy. What is the moral nature and what is the universe? That is a serious problem for all the philosophy. What does the Neo-Confucianism mean? It means Lie Kie, Sadan Chiljeung, and Inshim Doshim. Yoolgok made a distingtion between Lie and Kie. But he emphasiged Kie. He said that his thoughts can not be alternated in any case. Yoolgok said that Sadan lies already in Chiljeung. But he distinguished Inshim from Doshim. Toegae was faithful to succeed in the Jooja's original thoughts, but Yoolgok kept his originallity. The Korean Neo-Confucianism was not vacant argument. It is both ethics and epistemology of Life
