HEMA-styrene 공중합체 매트릭스를 활용한 항암제인 Tegafur의 조절 방출에 관하여 검토하였다. HEMA-styrene 공중합체를 styrene의 조성비를 달리하여 합성한 후 약물 전달체를 제조하고, 팽윤도 실험 및 약물 방출 실험을 수행하였다. 고분자의 팽윤도는 소수성 변조에 따라 광범위한 조절이 가능 하였으며 Tegafur의 방출은 고분자의 친수-소수성 정도에 따라 조절 가능하였다. In a attempt to develop anti-cancer drug delivery systems, controlled release of Tegafur from 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate(HEMA)-styrene copolymer matrices was investigated. HEMA-styrene copolymer was synthesized at different monomer composition. Swelling of the copolymers decreased as the styrene content increased. Release rates of Tegafur from the copolymer matrices were controlled by their hydrophilic-hydrophobic balances. As the copoymer hydrophobicity increased, the drug release rates retarded and approached to zero-order release pattern. The release kinetics was attributed to the polymer relaxation control mechanism.

치과의원과 대학치과병원 교정환자의 통제소재 특성

환자가 의료기관을 선택할 때 작용하는 요인은 매우 다양하며 이에 대한 많은 연구들이 있었으나 대부분 외부적인 요인에 대한 연구가 많았고 의료기관 선택 시 환자의 정신-심리학적인 면에 대한 정보는 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 비교적 선택진료(elective treatment)의 측면이 많은 교정치료를 받기 위해 치과의원과 대학치과병원에 내원한 환자들이 의료기관을 선택하는 여러 요인들 중 정신-심리학적 요인을 알아보기 위해 인간의 행동을 예측하는데 유용하다고 알려진 통제소재(Locus of control)검사를 이용하였다. 교정치료를 목적으로 서울대학교 치과병원에 내원한 환자 934명 및 치과의원에 내원한 환자 1466명을 대상으로 내외통제소재검사를 시행한 결과 대학치과병원 교정환자들이 치과의원 교정환자에 비하여 외적통제 경향이 높았으며 이러한 결과에 비추어 대학치과병원 교정환자들이 치과의원 교정환자들에 비해 의료진의 권위에 의존하는 정신-심리학적 경향이 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. Objective: Mary factors are considered when a patient chooses the type of dental institution they wish to receive treatment from. Numerous studies have been conducted regarding this issue. However, more research is needed in analyzing the patient's psychological aspects when he/she decides to choose the dental institution they wish to receive treatment from. Methods: A locus of control test was utilized to analyze the psychologica1 aspects in orthodontic patients of a university denta1 hospital and a private dental clinic. The locus of control test is known to be useful in predicting a human being's behavior Both intrinsic and extrinsic locus of control tests were carried out in 934 orthodontic patients attending Seoul National University Dental Hospital and 1466 orthodontic patients from a private dental clinic. Results: The orthodontic patients at the university dental hospital showed a stronger extrinsic locus of control compared with those from the private dental clinic. Conclusion: The orthodontic patients at the university dental hospital value the doctor as the authority figure and the treatment quality more than those at the private dental clinic.

위험지각이 인터넷 패션 쇼핑몰 이용 소비자의 구매행동의도에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to investigate the types of perceived risk of Internet shopping and the impact of perceived risk on purchasing behavioral intention of Internet shopping mall shoppers. A self-administrated questionnaire was e-mailed to INR research (www.inr.co.kr) panel who had purchasing experience of fashion product through Internet shopping mall. The perceived risk was reduced when the innovativeness increased and purchasing experience in Internet shopping mall increased. The financial risk had an effect on purchasing intention, and social/psychological risk had impact on revisiting intention and word-of-mouth intention negatively. The performance risk perception had significantly negative influence on word-of-mouth intention. Internet using time per week, purchasing experience and Internet innovativeness were positive impact on purchasing behavioral intention of Internet fashion product.

광선각화증, 각화극세포종과 Bowen's병에서 p53과 p21의 표출 양상

Background The function of the p53 protein was known to regulate cell proliferation by inhibiting cells entering Sphase. So DNA damaged cell proliferation was inhibited by apoptosis. P21 is a cyclin dependent kinase inhibitor induced by wild type p53, not mutant p53. Thus p21 is thought go mediate the signal of p53 induced by DNA damaged agents to arrest the cell cycle in G1 phase. p53 and p21 were expressed in many malignant tumors, and its role in oncogenesis, tumor progression and prognosis were important. The authors analyzed immunohistochemical expression of mutant p53 and p21 protein in some skin tumors. Method Thirteen cases of actinic keratosis, 7 cases of keratoacanthoma and 8 cases of Bowen's disease were immunohistochemically stained with p53 and p21 monoclonal antibodies. Results; 1. In cases of positive p53 protein and negative p21 protein, the expressed p53 protein was suggested as mutant form. 2. Positive expression of p53 protein and p21 protein in prickle cell layer of actinic keratosis and Bowen's disease was suggesded that the composing cells of prickle cell layer were transformed into the proliferated cell. The p21 protein expression was suggested to be induced by the p53 independent pathway. 3. Negative expression of p53 protein and p21 protein in prickle cell layer of keratoacanthoma was suggested that the composing cells of prickle cell layer were completely mature cells, so the keratoacanthoma had good prognosis.

TSP에서의 유전자 알고리즘

본 연구에서는 TSP에 유전자 알고리즘을 적용하여 최단 경로를 찾아내는 방법에 대해서 조사하였다. 유전자 알고리즘을 TSP에 적용하기 위해서는 N개의 도시 데이터에 적절한 돌연변이, 교차 및 전위 연산자를 도입하여야 한다. 최근에 많은 관심을 끌고 있는 Precedence 행렬을 이용한 교차 연산인 UNION 연산자는 기존의 연산자보다 훨씬 쉽게 최적의 경로로 접근함을 보였다. 그러나 이 방법은 Precedence 행렬 계산 때문에 메모리가 많이 필요하고 매 단계마다 걸리는 계산시간이 길어지는 단점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 UNION 연산자를 기존의 방법처럼 N개의 도시에 대한 연산으로 바꾸어 주었다. 그 결과 매 단계마다 걸리는 시간도 줄어들고, 경로도 최적의 경로로 쉽게 접근함을 보였다.

파이온 비임 요법의 물리에 관한 연구

Monte Carlo calculations were performed for the transport of the photon, electron, and pion in the water phantom in an effort to quantify the effects of the three ionizing radiations for cancer therapy. Comparison of energy deposited by the three particles as a function of penetration shows that in the case of the negative pion, the normal Bragg peak is greatly enhanced by the energy deposited due to nuclear capture of the pion by a nucleus and the subsequent nuclear reaction. The results clearly indicate that a preferred method of radiation therapy is to use energetic negative pions which has a number of advantages over the other two particles.

A depleted uranium dioxide pellet(φ=12.1nun, l=4.4mm) irradiated in KAERI TRIGA Mark-Ⅲ Reactor was measured with a HPGe detector to determine the product of transmission factor of gamma rays within the source itself and the detector efficiency as a function of energy using gamma rays emitted by fission products ^140L_a, and ^144P_r. The results appear markedly different from the detector efficiency, and the reasons for the deviation were contemplated by extracting a transmission curve as a function of gamma ray energy.
