      • Rifampicin에 의한 것으로 추정되는 위막성 대장염1예

        Pseudomembranous colitis, caused by altering the normal colonic flora and allowing the multiplication of Clostridium difficile, is an deleterious adverse effect of antibiotics. But it is rarely reported by rifampicin. Rifampicin is one of the first line drug in the treatment of tuberculosis and many patients are exposed to its potential adverse effects. We experienced a patient that had abdominal discomfort and hematochezia due to pseudomembranous colitis after receiving antituberculous medication, and which was probably caused by rifampicin. A 82 years old man was admitted with abdominal discomfort and hematochezia for one week. On the past history he had been diagnosed as endobronchial tuberculosis about 4 months ago. Colonoscopy revealed multiple discrete whitish mucosal lesion on rectosigmoid colon, and histologic findings were consistent with pseudomembranous colitis. The antituberculous agents were discontinued and vancomycin was administered. The patient's symptoms were resolved within several days. There was no recurrence after reinstitution of the antituberculous agents excluding rifampicin. We report here on a case of pseudomembranous colitis probably due to rifampicin.

      • 흑연-메소페이스핏치 복합재료의 열이방성

        In the development of thermal anisotropic materials with natural graphite powder and pitches as raw materials, extruding and hot-press method were investigated. Pitches should be reformed to mesophase pitch precursor by thermal pretreatment for using as a binder, and the heating rate was recommended within 0.2℃/min in the carbonization process. The tensile strength of axial direction of all specimens was about three times larger than that of radial direction and it could be increased about 25-60% by adding 1% chopped carbon fiber. The thermal expansion coefficient of axial direction was about 1/3-1/5 than that of radial direction and the thermal expansion was repressed by adding carbon fiber. The thermal conductivity of carbon fiber added specimens was increased with increasing the temperature, while that of without carbon fiber was decreased. The thermal conductivity of axial direction was about 8.0-4.58 times larger than that of radial direction by adding carbon fiber in the range of 0-400℃. As a general, properties of hot-pressed specimens were better than those of extruded specimens.

      • 경도관 동맥색전술을 이용한 비정상 자궁출혈의 치료

        Objective : Our purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the transcatheter arterial embolization for the management of abnormal uterine bleeding. Materials and Methods : 14 patients with massive or recurrent uterine bleeding underwent percutaneous transcatheter arterial embolization between February 2003 and September 2004. We reviewed 14 cases of uterine artery or internal iliac artery embolization using gelfoam or PVA particles. Results : Good management of uterine bleeding was achieved in 13 of 14(93%) cases. The cause of abnormal uterine bleeding was myoma(5 case), post D & E bleeding(3), acquired vascular malformation(3), pseudoaneurysm(1), adenomyosis(1), and endometrial hyperplasia(1). Conclusion : Transcatheter artery embolization is an effective and life-saving procedure in massive or recurrent uterine bleeding. Early diagnosis and prompt transcatheter arterial embolization is a useful mangement of uterine bleeding.

      • 장기간의 장거리 달리기가 골대사 마커에 미치는 영향

        This study is purposed to analyse the effects of long-term & one-time 10km running exercise from bone metabolic marker change on bone metabolism. 7 male members(18.6±1.08) from a marathon club were subjected to the study. They were allowed to do long-term 10 km running training once a week for 6 months. And bone metabolism mark was determined according to the respective times : before/after 6 months training, before/after 10 km race, one day after the race, 3 days after the race. The examination items of bone metabolism mark were serum calcium, phosphorus, paratyroid hormone, osteocalcin, calcitonin, alkaline phosphatase in blood and calcium, phosphorus, deoxypyridinolin in urine. The results of study were as follows; 1) There was no change in deoxypyridinolin and alkaline phosphatase but there was significant change in calcitonin, paratyroid hormone and osteocalcin(p<.01). 2) There was no change of Calcium in serum and urine but there was significant change of phosphorus in blood(p<.01). To make a conclusion, it is determined that long-term 10 km running at low intensity and low frequency tends to restrict bone metabolism circulation, but exercise at a little high level activates bone metabolism into building up bones and absorbing bones and finally shows up high bone metabolism circulation, which is inferred to have an effective influence on bone health. It is considered there is a possibility that different exercise intensity, even same kind of exercise, influences on bone metabolism sdifferently.

      • 골반 골절에 동반된 동맥 출혈에서의 경피적 동맥색전술의 유용성

        Purpose : To determine the usefullness of transcatheter embolization of arterial bleeding in patients with pelvic bone fracture. Materials and Methods : Between March 2003 and December 2004, we evaluated 13 injuried arteries of eight patients with pelvic bone fracture, All patients underwent angiography, followed by transcatheter arterial embolization using gelfoam. We investigated the vital sign, survival rate and complication of transcatheter arterial embolization. Results : Angiography revealed extravasation of cantrast media in six patients; extravasation and abrupt cut-off of an artery in two. The injured arteries involved(n=13) were internal pudendal(n=4), obturator(n=3), inferior gluteal(n=3), iliolumbar(n=2) and superior gluteal artery(n=1). Transcather arterial embolization was technically successful and there was no complication in all cases. Old age patients(n=2, >60years) died due to hypovolemia and pulmonary complication. Conclusion : Transcatheter arterial embolization of arterial bleeding is a useful procedure in lowering the mortality and complication in pelvic bone fracture.

      • 장기간의 중강도 트레이닝이 면역기능에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the change of immune reaction in moderate intensity training in young males. To achieve the purpose, Six healthy young males(Age:24.3±1.23yr) were recruited for this study. Exercise training consisted of a standardized 12-wk moderate intensity running program(60%HRmax, 3day/wks and 50min/day) performed in the laboratory on a computer-controlled treadmill. Pre- and post-training blood samples were obtain before and after completion of a maximal exercise test on the treadmill. The results of this was obtained as follows: In resting monocyte and eosinophil were no significantly difference between 12weeks pre- and post- running training. Monocyte and eosinophil of post maximal exercise were no significantly difference between 12weeks pre- and post- running training. NK cell were significantly increased after maximal exercise than rest. NK cell were significantly difference to rest and after maximal exercise in pre- and post- running training.

        최근 Rieffel, Pimsner, Voiculescu 등에 의하여 발전된 無理回轉에代數와 그것의 K-理論 및 그 일반화를 검토한다. We review the C-algebras associated with irrational rotations and their K-theory, recontly developed by Rieffel, Pimsner and Voiculescu. Also, we briefly discuss several generalizations of the above results.

      • 컴퓨터 도입에 따른 디자인 교육의 변화와 발전방안에 관한 연구

        급속한 과학의 발달과 컴퓨터의 대중화에 따른 다양한 문화와 정보의 변화가 21세기에는 현실화되고 컴퓨터 성능의 급진전은 디자인 분야에 수요적인 면이나 공급적인 면에서 교육의 새로운 방법론을 모색하게 만들었다. 특히 디자인에 있어서 컴퓨터 정보인 디지털 신경체계를 이용하여 건축, 방송, 의학, 항공, 국방, 교육 등 이루 헤아릴 수 없을 만큼 많은 분야에서 사용되고 있다. 이러한 시점에서 아직 컴퓨터 디자인 교육이 성숙 단계에 이르지 못하고 과도기적인 상태에서 교육내용의 부실, 교육시설의 부족, 산학연계 교육의 미흡 등으로 인하여 많은 어려움을 겪고 있으며, 여러 측면에 있어서 해결해야 할 과제를 안고 있다. 이에 본 연구의 목적은 디자인 교육 내용과 컴퓨터 도입에 의한 교육의 방향으로 제시해 보고자 한다. 그리하여 본 연구의 진행 방법으로는 디자인 교육의 이념과 디자인 교육의 변천과정, 컴퓨터 개념과 시스템 구성을 살펴봄으로써 디자인 교육과 컴퓨터 도입으로 인한 디자인 교육의 변화를 이해 하고자 하였다. As science develops rapidly and popularization of computer use, various cultures and change of information are realized, rapid progress of computers let us try to find new methodology of education in design field in the demand or supply side. Especially, digital nerve system : computer information is used in many field-architecture, broadcasting, movie, medical science, aviation, national defence, education and so on. At this point, computer design education has not reached Its maturity level and is in age of transition and get into difficulty because of sufficient of education contents, lack of education facility. unsatisfied of industrial-educational cooperation and there are problems awakening solutions. Therefore purpose of this research is to analyze of design education contents and change education with introduction of computers, so plan to present problem of design education and develop a plan. So progress way of this research is that looking into transition process of design education. computer concept and system organization. And then plan to understand of design education and change of design education as introduction of computers.

      • 돼지 미성숙 난포란의 회수 및 체외수정에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 돼지의 체외수정에 있어서 난포란의 회수방법과 체외수정란 및 체외발달율을 조사하여 체외수정의 기본 원리를 밝히고자 본 연구를 수행하였다. 도축장으로부터 채집한 난소의 난포에서 흡입법, 세절법 및 흡입후세절법 등으로 난포란을 채취하여 등급별로 분류하여 회수율을 조사하였으며, 채취한 난포란은 액상정액과 정소상체미부 정액을 사용하여 체외수정을 시킨후 TCM-199 와 NCSU-23 배양액으로 체외배양을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 얻은 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 회수방법당 각각 37개의 난소에서 회수한 난포란의 수는 흡입법이 1,365개, 세절법이 1,884개 및 흡입후 세절법이 3.830개로써 난소당 난포란의 수는 각각 36.9, 50.9 및 103.5개로써 회수방법간에 유의적(P<0.05)인 차이가 있었다. 액상정액과 정소상체미부 정액을 사용하였을 때 수정율은 각각 83.0 및 83.% 로써 정액간에 유의적(P<0.05) 인 차이는 없었다. 체외수정이 이루어진 난자들의 분할율도 액상정액(60.8%) 과 정소상체미부 정액(69.0%) 간에 유의적(P<0.05) 인 차이는 없었다. 2-4세포기로의 발달율은 24.6 및 28.4%로써 배양액간에 위의적(P<0.05)인 차이는 없었으며, 상실배로의 발달율도 TCM-199 와 NCSU-23 배양액이 각각 14.8 및 24.5% 로써 이들간에 유의적(P<0.05)인 차이는 없었다. To improve the efficiency of in vitro production of embryos with follicular oocytes in pig, the recovery rates, in vitro fertilization and development, and the time required for collectng and processing oocytes by aspiration with or without slicing were evaluated comparatively. The oocytes were collected by aspiration of follicles(2-6mm) with or without slicing ovaries after aspiration, and classified into grade I-IV oocytes by the morpholoy of cumulus cells attached and the homogeneity of cytoplasmic granules. The grade Ⅰ-Ⅱ oocytes were matured invitro for 46 hours in TCM-199 and NCSU-23 supplemented with 1㎍/㎖ FSH, 2IU/㎖ hCG, 1㎍/㎖ estradiol-17 at 39℃ under 5% CO_2 in air. They were fertilized in vitro by epididymis sperm and ejaculated sperm treated with hypotaurin for 24 hours. and then the zygotes were co-cultured in vitro with pFF(porcine follicular fluid) for 7-9 days. The results obtained were as follows: The number of ocytes recovered per ovary was averaged 30.7 by aspiration, 50.8 by slicing and 103.5 by aspiration post slicing. The number of grade Ⅰ oocytes recovered was total 0.2% by aspiration, 0.1% by slicing and 0.1% by aspiration post slicing. The oocytes recovered per ovary was significantly(P<0.05) higher as recovery methods. The cleavage rates of the embryos obtained from 83.0(ejaculate sperm) and 83.1(epididymis sperm) respectively(P<0.05). In vitro developmental rates(9.9 and 18.6%) of embryos cultured in TCM-199 and NCSU-23 up to morula stage were non significantly(P<0.05) different between the culture media.
