        This study was performed to evaluate the odor control of sewage by oak pyroligneous liquid. And, odor control experimental was compared NaOH solution(20%) to pyroligneous liquid. The results were summarized as follows ; Results of pyroligneous liquid analysis showed pH was very low, and heavy metals were most of not detected. pyroligneous liquid was showed more effective for odor control than NaOH solution(20%). NaOH solution(20%) and sewage was producted NH3 gas through chemical reaction. Suitable dilution rate of pyroligneous liquid was showed thousand times, but it was thought problems in economic. Therefore, the pyroligneous liquid would be effectively in odor control with use follow conditions ; garbage waste box, landfill waste layer and moving dressing room in tourist facilities etc.

        Recently it has become particularly to be concerned with low noise emergency generator because generator sets caused noise affecting seriously people in buildings. In this study, I investigated the working of the low noise emergency generator at fire eruption, relation with fire equipment, and changing time from electric power to emergency power. I simultaneously estimated the changing time from electric power to emergency power at emergency.

      • 소아 만성 부비동염에서 단순촬영상과 OMU CT상의 비교

        Most commonly and widely used diagnostic tool for chronic paranasal sinusitis in children is plain X-ray check not only because of small radiation dose and easy performance, but because of low cost. However ostiomeatal unit computed tomography(OMU CT) was known to be more accurate and recommended recently by many physicians. The author have studied for both OMU CT and plain X-ray of paranasal sinuses and compaird their findings in 90 chidren(180 sides of sinus) aged from 4 to 14 years who suspected having sinusitis. OMU CT was taken after plain X-ray examination (Caldwell's view, water's view, lateral view), and the time interval betweeen these two examination was O to 14 days (average 4.7 days). The following results were obtained. Considering that OMU CT was accurate, the rate of correspondence in diagnosis of sinus pathology between plain X-ray and OMU CT was 48.3% in the ethmoid sinus, 51.1% in the maxillary sinus, 41.9% in the sphenoid sinus, 43.4% in the frontal sinus. If all OMU CT findings had been accurate, the incidence of false positives according to plain X-ray was 25.5% in the ethmoid sinus, 28.3% in the maxillary sinus, 70.8% in the spenoid sinus and 77.8% in the frontal sinus. While, the incidence of false negatives according to plain X-ray was 85.9% in the ethmoid sinus, 70.5% in the maxillary sinus, 50.0% in sphenoid sinus and 37.5% in the frontal sinus. A routine preoperative OMU CT is recommended, which allows a detailed evaluation of pathologic changes and anatomical relations of the paranasal sinuses before surgical interventiaon for the paranasal sinuses. Considering the above facts, diagnosis of pediatric sinusitis only by plain X-ray was inadequate and OMU CT was necessary.

      • 경계요소법과 유한요소법에 의한 흡음판을 가진 구조물의 소음해석

        In many practical problems, the use of finite elements to discretize the fluid region leads to large stiffness and mass matrices. But, since the acoustic boundary element discretization requires to put elements only on the surface of structure, the size of matrices is reduced considerably. Here, we developed a numerical analysis program for the structural-acoustic coupling problems of the multi-region cavity, using boundary elements for the fluid regions and finite elements for the structure. By considering sound transmission through layered systems placed in a cavity, the accuracy of the coupled acoustical-structural finite element model has been verified by comparing its transmission loss predictions with analytical sloutions. Example problems are included to investigate the characteristics of the multi-region structural-acoustic coupling system with porous material.

      • 황소개구리(Rana catesbeiana) 위장관 점막의 점액분비세포에 대한 조직화학적 연구

        본 연구는 황소개구리(Rana catesbeiana) 위장관 점막의 점액물질의 성상을 알아보기 위하여 위장관(위, 십이지장, 소장, 대장)의 조직들을 통상조직 절편법에 의해 제작한 조직을 hematoxylin & eosin, periodic acid-schiff(PAS), alcian blue pH 2.5(AB 2.5), alcian blue pH 1.0(AB 1.0), AB 2.5-PAS 연속 염색 반응을 실시한 결과는 다음과 같았다. 1.위에서 표면점액세포와 점액경세포는 주로 풍부한 중성점액질로 구성되어 있었고, 미량의sulfomucin도 나타났다. 2. 십이지장에서 원주세포는 거의 중성점액질로 이루어져 있었는데, 중등도 반응의 주름쪽이 약한 반응의 소와쪽 보다 중성점액질을 더 많이 포함하고 있었다. 배상세포는 드물게 나타났고 크기도 작았으며, 소량의 sulfomucin과 풍부한 중성점액질을 포함하고 있었다. 3. 소장의 원주세포는 십이지장의 원주세포와 동일한 결과를 나타내었다. 배상세포의 수는 적었고, 점막상피에 흩어져 있었으며, 중등도의 sulfomucin과 풍부한 중성점액질을 포함하고 있었다. 4. 위장관 중에서 점액질의 분비가 가장 왕성한 대장에서 원주세포는 중등도의 중성점액질로 구성되어 있었고, 배상세포는 중성점액질과 중등도의 sulfomucin을 내포한 산성점액질 모두 아주 풍부하게 포함되어 있었다. This study was performed to examine the composition of gastrointestinal mucosa mucosubstances in bullfrog (Rana catebeiana). The stomach, duodenum, small intestine and large Intestine of adult bullfrogs were made the general routine section method Specimen were stained with hematoxylin-eosin, periodic acid-Schiff(PAS), alcian blue pH 2.5 (AB 2.5) and alcian blue pH 1.0 (AB 1.0) respectively. AB 2.5-PAS sequential staining reactions differentiated acidic mucin from neutral mucin. The results of the study were as follows. 1) Surface mucous cells and mucous neck cells of stomach were mainly composed of very abundant neutral mucin, and also they showed a very small amount of sulfomucin. 2) Columnar cells of duodenum mainly consisted of neutral mucin. Folds of moderate reaction secreted more neutral mucin than crypts of weak reaction. Goblet cells which contained a small amount of sulfomucin and abundant neutral mucin. 3) Columnar cells of small intestine showed the same results as those of duodenum. Other goblet cert Is contained a moderate amount of sulfomucin and plenty of neutral mucin. 4) Columnar cell of large intestine which secreted mucin flour ishingly among gastrointestinal tracts were made up of a moderate quantity of neutral mucin. Other goblet cells produced neutral mucin very abundantly, and a very large amount of acidic mucin which contained a proper amount of sulfomucin.

        One of the economic and efficient process to treat the leachate which venerates at the landfill is the combined treatment with the sewage, which can result in the over-loading and the side effect at the treatment of wastewater. Therefore, this study aims to compare with the generalized A/S process and BNR one in consideration of the nutrient, which apply the combination treatment, and to derive the proper mixing rate of A/S process and BNR one.

      • 결과지식후 지역간격중 간삽활동이 운동학습에 미치는 영향

        Information presented from an external source to a learner following a practice response is commonly knowledge of result(KR). The importance of KR can be demonstrated by observing the influence on learning of activity conditions following the receipt of KR during the post-KR interval. The thirty-three subject were random assigned to one of three post-KR interval activity condition (n=11). The 'no-activity' condition involved an empty 10-sec post-KR interval. The 'two-related activity condition required each subject to practice the same patten of movement of the 40cm criterion and then at a 20cm criterion. The 'non-related activity' condition required verval task during 10-sec post-KR interval. The result of experiment provided evidence that post-KR activity conditions did not influence learning a skill.

      • 침출수 무배출식 모형매립조를 이용한 도시폐기물 분해특성

        The objective of this study is to find solid waste decomposition characteristics in landfill without leachate discharge. This study was observed variation of landfill gas production rate and leachate for stabilization assessment, and using four sets of lysimeter as experimental apparatus. Solid waste decomposition was accelerated in without leachate discharge system by sufficient moisture for methane bacteria. And gas production rate was between 54.2ℓ/kg VS ~335.9ℓ/kg VS in each lysimeter. Generation time of methane gas was showed different in each lysimeter, but it was much faster than literature research. The time of stabilization phase were began as follows : L-1 400 day, L-2 350 day, L-3 170 day and L-4 day respectively. Decreasing times of BOD/COD ratio and C/N ratio were necessary more than literature research because organic matter was not discharge such as wash out.
