        The purpose of thus study were to investigate the proper conditions of struvite formation in synthetic wastewater and then to apply these conditions to effluent of anaerobic digester of livestock wastewater The conditions of struvite formation had been studied by many researchers. But a little conditions were different among them. Especially, according to suspended solid variation in livestock wastewater was investigated by few researchers. In experiment of synthetic wastewater, the proper conditions of struvite formation were pH 105, l50rpm of mixing rate, 10 minutes of reaction time, and 20 minutes of precipitation time. At same time, the ammonia nitrogen removal rates were about 99.7%, 95.5%, and 96% of synthetic wastewater, raw wastewater, and effluent of anaerobic digester of livestock wastewater at molar ratio of 2(Mg):l(N)2(P) respectively. The larger factor of NH₄/SS constant was, the more effective the removal rate of ammonium nitrogen, SS was, but the less effective COD_(cr), and TOC was. By using XRD analysis, the most certain compound in precipitate of synthetic wastewater was struvite.

        정신보건관련시설 입원(소)자의 주요 정신장애 유병률 : 전국 20개 시설의 입원(소)자를 대상으로

        Objectives : One of the objectives of this study is to estimate the prevalence rates of psychiatric diagnoses in the combined populations of psychiatric hospitals, psychiatric nursing facilities and homeless asylums using the Korean version of the Composite International Diagnostic Interview (K-CIDI), which is a comprehensive and fully standardized interview schedule to assess psychiatric disorders for diagnosis. The Other objective is to compare with previously studied prevalence rates of Psy-chiatric diagnoses using the results of this study. Methods : The study subjects, aged from 181o 64 years, were randomly selected from 64,582 institutionalized population of psychiatric hospitals, Psychiatric nursing facilities and homeless asylums as of 30, June, 2001. Twelve trained interviewers administered the K-CIDI to the selected respondents. A total of 1,875 respondents (male 1,194, female 681) completed the interview. Results : The lifetime and one year prevalences of any diagnosis excluding nicotine dependence · withdrawal, anxiety disorder, eating disorder, somatoform disorder were 88.2% (male 88.1%, female 88.3%), and 65.8% (male 62.7%, female 73.7%), respectively. The lifetime and one year prevalences of schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders were 78.5% (male 75.3%, female 83.7%), and 56.8% (male 51.9%, female 64.8%), respectively. The lifetime and one year prevalences of alcohol use disorder (dependence/abuse) were 26.7% (male 37.9%, female 8.3%), and 8.7% (male 12.8%, female 2.1%), respectively. The lifetime and one year prevalences of mood disorder were 18.1% (male 13.5%, female 25.8%), and 10.4% (male 7.2%,female 16.9%), respectively. The lifetime and one year prevalences of schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders were comparable with the 2001 community survey by 1.19% to 1.32%, and 0.51% to 0.61%, respectively. The lifetime and one year prevalences of schizophrenia were also comparable by 0.16% to 0.28%, and 0.16% to 0.25%, respectively. There were no significant changes of prevalence rates when correction were applied to other psychiatric diagnosis. Conclusion : The results of this study could be used for evaluating the distribution of psychiatric diagnoses in mental health related facilities and for planning mental health policies.

        Food security, especially in developing countries, has been threatened by several factors. Fluctuations of food production world wide and its price are caused by unstable weather condition. Even when enough is produced, control over food-producing resources and distribution causes hunger. Population growth and limitted food production could lead to widespread famines. North Korean food shortage around 300million MT a year threatens the food security of the nation as well as that of South Korea. Several alternatives were suggested such as (1) development of high yielding technologies, (2) redistribution of control over food-producing resources in North Korea and (3) enhancement of cultivated land use in winter, etc.

        To investigate the components of the hopelessness in schizophrenia, the authors applied the korean version of Beck's the Hopeless Scale on the 57 schizophrenic patients, and tried factor analysis using SPSS/PC+based on the scores of each items. The results of factor analysis were summarised as following 5 factors : Factor 1 was lack of confidence factor, factor 2 was despair factor, factor 3 was frustration factor, factor 4 was worthlessness factor and factor 5 was negative view factor. These results were thought to be as the concentration of the hopelessness in schizophrenia.

      • MUSIC 알고리즘을 이용한 적응 빔 성형에 관한 연구

        In order to estimate DOA(Direction Of Arrival) of signal, the adaptive beam forming algorithm based on MUSIC(Multiple Signal Classification) is studied and analyzed. The eigenvalues for the signal component and the noise component are obtained from correlation matrix of the received signal by array antenna. The eigenvalues classified the signal components into the noise components decide the power spectrum of the received signal. From the results, DOA is estimated by the signal and noise spatial vector, and the steering beam pattern is found by weight vectors calculated from the spatial vector, effectively.

        olanzapin과 Risperidone의 급성 및 만성 투여기가 흰쥐 전전두피질의 Dopamine 농도에 미치는 영향

        항정신병약물들이 전전두피질의 세포외 dopamine 농도에 미치는 영향은 이 약물들의 음성 증상에 대한 효과와 관련이 있는 것으로 보고 되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 최근 국내에서 많이 사용되고 있는 olanzapine과 risperidone을 흰쥐에 급성 및 만성 투여를 한 후, 이들 약물들이 전전두피질의 세포외 dopamine 농도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 샘플은 생체 내 뇌 미세투석법(in vivo brain microdialysis)을 이용하여 얻었고 샘플내 dopamine의 농도는 전기화학적 검출법(electrochemical detection : ECD)을 사용하는 고압액체크로마토그라피(high pressure liquid chromatography : HPLC)로 측정하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) Olanzapine과 risperidone의 급성 투여는 전전두피질 부취의 세포외 dopamine 농도를 증가시켰으며 증가의 정도는 용량 의존적이었다. 2) Olanzapine과 risperidone의 급성 투여에 의해 전전두피질 부위에 나타난 세포외 dopamine 농도의 최고치는 두 약물간에 유의한 차이가 없었다. 3) Olanzapine과 risperidone의 만성 투여는 전전두피질 부위의 세포외 dopamine 농도를 증가시켰으나 그 증가의 정도가 급성 투여에 비해 모두 감소하는 내성 현상이 보였다. 4) Olanzapine과 risperidone의 만성 투여에 의해 전전두피질 부위에 나타나는 세포외 dopamine 농도의 최고치는 olanzapine과 risperidone에 비해 유의하게 높았다. 이상의 결과들은 Olanzapine과 risperidone의 음성 증상에 대한 임상적 효과가 이들 약물이 전전두피질의 세포외 dopamine 농도를 증가시키는 효과와 관견이 있음을 제시한다. Object : It is reported that the effect of antipsychotics on the extracellular dopamine levels in the prefrontal cortex is related to the their effect on the negative symptoms. Therefore, we investigated the acute and chronic effects of olanzapine and risperidone on the extracellular dopamine concentrations in the prefrontal cortex of rat. Samples were obtained using in vivo brain microdialysis. Method : Dopamine levels in the samples were measured by high pressure liquid chromatography with electrochemical detection. Results : 1) Both the acute treatment of olanzapine and risperidone increased the extracellular dopamine concentrations in the prefrontal cortex, dose-dependently. 2) There was a no significant difference in the maximal change of the extracellular dopamine concentrations in the prefrontal cortex induced by the acute treatment of olanzapine and risperidone. 3) Both the chronic treatment of olanzapine and risperidone also increased the extracellular dopamine concentrations in the prefrontal cortex, but they showed the tolerance effect that the degree of increase was smaller than that of the acute treatment. 4) As for the maximal changes of the extracellular dopamine concentrations in the prefrontal cortex induced by the chronic treatment of planzapine and risperidone, the effect of the former was greater than that of the latter. Conclusion : These results suggest that the effects of olanzapine and risperdone on the negative symptoms are related to the increased extracellular dopamine concentrations in the prefrontal cortex induced by these drugs.

        정신보건 관련 시설의 재원 기간 및 관련 요인에 대한 연구

        Object : This study was aimed to find the contributing factors that influence the length of stay in mental health related facilities and to present future direction for the mental health policy. Methods : The 1,875 patients who are aged between eighteen and sixty-five are chosen by the stratified random sampling from ten psychiatric hospitals, six psychiatric nursing facilities and five homeless asylums. We investigate about length of stay of all subjects by sociodemographic characteristics, socioeconomic status, functional status, disease related characteristics and analyse contributing factors. Results : From total subjects, average length of stay was 1,906 days, and facilities, where subjects are institutionalized, explains 40% of length of stay. Other related factors are female, old age, single, lack of supportive system before admission and after discharge, medical assistance type I, unavailable of public transportation and utility, long duration of illness, and psychotic disorder. Conclusion : For lowering the rate of long-term hospitalization, evaluation of appropriateness is needed for admission to nursing facility and homeless asylum and make up for the medical payment system and the supportive system from family and community.

      • 모드 정합법을 이용한 직교모드 변환기 해석 및 설계

        In this paper. the orthomode transducer of the antenna feed system is analyzed and designed. It consists of combining the common circular waveguide with the two sub-rectangular waveguide. The size of the circular and the rectangular waveguide are WC59. WR62 and the orthomode transducer considered the 13th high-order mode. From the boundary condition for the electromagnetic field. the scattering parameters are derived from the Hybrid electromagnetic mode theory. The computed results are compared with HFSS of 3D simulation tool for the microwave circuits. The results show a good characteristic that the S_(11) and S_(22) are below -15.5dB and S_(33) S_(44) are below -14dB in the range of 14.5~16.5GHz.

      • Ku 밴드 안테나 급전 시스팀 설계

        In this paper, design of the antenna feed system for Ku-band is presented by TEmn χ mode theory. The antenna feed system consists of diplexer combined with transmitting filter and receiving filter, OMT( Othogonal Mode Transducer) and polarizer. These filters are designed by the insertion loss method which is applied to the mode matching method. Matching elements in the inner waveguide set to reduce mismatching conditions on the discontinuity imposed by T-junction. so that a diplexer is optimized and has the best property. The optimum filter appeared characteristics that reflected power is about -2OdB in the receiving and the transmitting passband. The differential phase shift of the corrugated polarizer combined with OMT achieved 90° ± 1° within 14.0 - 14.5GHz frequency-band. The maximum VSWR is only about 1.02 and axial ratio(AR) is about 1.01. The designed feed system has suitably separated between the polarized wave and the frequency bandwidth.

        본 연구는 유체가 배관 내를 흐를 때 사용유체의 물리ㆍ화학적 성질에 따라 배관 재질이 선택된다. 소화설비에 사용하는 유체는 대부분 물을 사용하므로 물속에 용해된 각종 이물질 들은 관 벽에 스케일을 발생시키고 부식 및 배관 노후화를 촉진하여 마찰손실을 증가시켜 결국은 펌프의 효율을 저하시킨다. 설계 및 시공단계에서 마찰손실을 개선하기 위해 기존 강관대신 CPVC(Chlorinated Poly-Vinyl Chloride)배관을 이용하여 배관재질에 따라 마찰손 실 감소로 인한 소화시스템의 안정성 향상 및 경제성과의 상관관계를 고찰하였다. This investigation was materials for pipes are selected according to the physical and chemical properties of the fluid that flows within them. As water is most commonly used in fire fighting, a diversity of foreign materials dissolved in water cause scale on the walls of pipes used in fire fighting equipment. This causes erosion and pipe deterioration and increases friction losses, which leads to low efficiency of pumps. examined the correlations between economic success and improved safety of fire fighting systems thanks to decreased friction losses according to pipe materials when chlorinated poly-vinyl chloride (CPVC) was used to ameliorate friction losses compared to steel pipes in the design and construction stages.
