        8년간(1992~1999) 산업안전보건연구원에 의뢰된 직업병 심의 사례 분석

        Objectives : Pneumoconisis and noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) have been reported as main occupational diseases by the Special Health Examination. The Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance has reported various work-related diseases, however, these two diseases occupied almost a half of compensated cases. Therefore, it was not well known about the status of occupational diseases other than pneumoconiosis, NIHL, and cardio-cerebrovascular accident (CVA). This study was conducted to analyze claimed cases as an occupational disease, that was requested to the Korea Industrial Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA). Methods : The local office of the Korea Labor Welfare Corporation (KLWC) has asked the KOSHA for confirmation of claimed cases as an occupational disease. We analyzed 379 cases requested from KLWC, the Ministry of Labor, employers, unions and occupational health agencies from 1992 to 1999. Results : Male was 80.7 % of the requested cases. Their mean age was 42 years old and 75.5 % of them were more than 35 years old. The requested cases were increased rapidly from 25 cases in 1992 to 108 cases in 1999 and the accept rate was 50.7 %. The majority of requested cases were respiratory diseases(22.4%), cancers(18.5%), Neuropsychiatric problems(14.5%), and musculoskeletal problems(13.5%). The accept rate was high in reproductive, respiratory, musculoskeletal and digestive disorders and low in neuropsychiatric, renal and otologic problems and occupational cancers. 73.6% of them were caused by chemical agents, especially 28.5 % were by organic solvents. 67% of them were clinically confirmed at university hospitals. A half of the cases were from KyongIn area, even the request came from the whole country. Conclusions : A claim was common in workers whose age was over 35 years old and exposure history was over 10 years. The respiratory diseases and neuropsychiatric disorders were still main problems in occupational health and occupational cancers was increasing even though its accept rate was not high yet.

        This paper is a study of the new direction of cooperative regional development (CRD) in the new millennium. It consists of two parts : the theoretical background of CRD and a case study of the Yeungnam-Honam region, the inter-Yeungnam region and the Taegu-Kyungbuk region. The process of CRD is defined as a developmental strategy for multiple participating agencies to achieve their mutually beneficial goals. 1 t applies to various fields such as regional economic development, regional information, environmental conservation. management of water resources, transportation networks, cultural & tourism development, health & social welfare, etc. Compared to existing regional development, the process of CRD has a synergistic effect, saves time in achieving goals, promotes learning through the interaction of the participants, and reduces risks. To maximize the advantages of CRD. there first must be cooperation for mutual benefits (the principle of efficiency and the utilitarian approach) : second, cooperation in functions (the principle of interdependence and the functional approach) : and third. cooperation for coexistence (the principle of mutual acceptability and the communal approach).

      • Haloperidol이 수면에 미치는 영향

        요 약 항정신병약물인 haloperidol이 수면에 미치는 영향을 파악하기위하여, 20-25세 사이의 소위 건강한 남자 대학생 7명을 대상으로 다원수면기록을 실시하여 분석한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. Haloperidol은 총수면시간에 대한 1단계 수면양을 감소시키고, 서파 수면을 증가시키는 효과가 있었다. 2. haloperidol은 수면 효율을 증가시키는 효과가 있었다. 3. 일반적으로 2단계 수면의 양은 1단계 수면 및 도중 각성과, 주간 졸리움은 서파수면의 양과 역상관관 계에 있었다. 4. haloperidol 투여시 총수면시간은 서파 수면의 양, REM 수면의 양, 및 주간 졸리움과 역상관관계에 있었다. To investigate the effects of haolperidol on sleep and subjective daytime sleepiness, authors applied polysomnography for sleep structure and visual analogue scale for daytime sleepiness to normal volunteers. The subjects were 7 healthy young adults, aged from 20 to 25 years old. The results were summarized as follows. 1. The effects haloperidol on sleep structure in normal adults were decreasing the amount of stage 1 sleep, increasing slow wave sleep(SWS), and increasing sleep efficiency. 2. In general, relative amounts of stage 2 sleep correlated with the amount of stage 1 sleep and WASO negatively, and daytime sleepiness correlates with the amounts of SWS negatively. 4. After administration of haloperidol, total sleep time correlates with the amounts of SWS and REM sleep, and daytime sleepiness negatively.

      • 고유동 콘크리트용 분리저감형 유동화제의 개발에 관한 기초적 연구

        The purpose of this paper is to develope segregation reducing type superplasticizer for high fluidity concrete and to manufacture high fluidity concrete by applying developed segregation reducing type superplasticizer using flowing concrete method in the rane go of 45% of W/C. According to test results, as dosage of superplasticizer increases, it shows that fluidity and bleeding increase, while air content and segregation resistance decrease. It also shows that adding of viscosity agent reduce bleeding and improve segregation resistance. Dosage of AE agent recovers loss of air contents during flowing Procedure. Combination of proper contents of superplasticizer, viscosity agent and AE agent make possible to develope segregation reducing type soperplasticizer According to experimental results, optimal proportion of superplasticizer, viscosity agent and AE agent show to be 1'0.60'0.027 Compressive strength of high fluidity concrete is simihar to comprssive strength of base concrete

        지역기술거점의 형성과 지역혁신네트워크 구축에 관한 연구 : 대구, 경북지역을 사례로 A Case Study of the Daegu , Kyongbuk Region

        This research is a study of the need to establish regional techno-poles and the need to develop networking in regards to regional innovation projects of the Daegu·Kyongbuk region. In order to analyze regional innovation capacity, four variables were selected for analysis. They are source innovation, environmental innovation, activity innovation, and performance innovation. The analytical data used were: 24 units of administrative districts, 5 planning regions, 3 divided regions by population size, and 2 divided regions by degrees of industrial agglomeration between the years 1995-1999. The statistics used were: deprivation index, Kruskal-Wallis test and Wilcoxon rank sum test, and time-series cross-sectional regression. Several characteristics of the analysis and evaluation of regional innovation capacity were revealed from the research. First, the analysis of results of the 24 administrative districts revealed that four cities were much superior to the other regions. The deprivation index for these four cities are as follows: Daegu (0.8677), Kyongsan (0.41265), Kumi (0.41026), and Pohang (0.40981). Second, after analysis of the five planning regions, it was found that four planning regions, - the Daegu metropolitan city (0.68730), the East region (0.47075), the South region (0.46501), and the West (0.38533) Kyongbuk region - had similar indices. But the study showed that the North Kyongbuk region is very weak (0.15217) in comparison. Third, three regions were derived based on population. They are a metropolitan area, a small to medium-sized city a rural area. The study indicated the following indices: metropolitan area (0.86677), small-medium sized city (0.21051), rural area (0.05649). Fourth, the two regions divided by industrial agglomeration indicated these very different results: industrialized region (0.41981) and non industrialized region (0.07513). Fifth, four variables were analysed in terms of time-series cross-sectional regression. The three independent variables positively influenced performance innovation. The breakdown of the positive impact of each independent variable is as follows: source (2.28, prob>0.00), environment (4.89, prob>0.00), and activity (0.90, prob>0.09) innovation. Furthermore, performance innovation was more influenced by regional characteristics (0.44) than by time (0.00).

      • 초산류프롤리드 투여에 의한 흰 쥐 brain에의 영향과 자궁내막암 세포주에 대한 세포독성

        Leuprolide acetate is a potent luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone analogue [leuprorelin, (des-Glyl0-D-Leu6-Pro-NHEt9)-LHRH acetate]. Lorelin depot, which was composed of leuprolide acetate, was designed for one-month release injectable and biodegradable microsphere of multiple high doses. Here we examined the effect of microsphere lorelin depot, in comparison with Takeda microsphere (Lucrin Depot). Lorelin (leuprolide 3.75 ㎎/㎏ of body weight) was administered subcutaneous to male rats. The rats were sacrificed after 42 days and morphological changes of brain were observed by light microscopy. Leuprolide acetate has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on the growth of several hormone-dependent human tumors, So, leuprolide actate was examined for the cell cytotoxicity of the human endometrial cancer cell line, SNU-685, which was characterized in primary tumors of Korean patient and other cancer cell lines, MCF-7, T-24 and FB-l3P Cells were cultured with indicated concentrations of leuprolide acetate for 48 hr. Antiproliferative effect on SNU-685 cell which were determined by colorimetric method, MTT and MTS/PMS, was shown 20%, but those effects on MCF-7, T24, FB-23P cells were little shown.

      • WLL 증폭기 불요방사 성능분석

        In this paper the system perfomance degradation resulting from nonlinear transmitter power amplifier which is essential to increase the efficiency is analyzed in a WLL-CDMA system. The power amplifier is modeled by its AM-AM, AM-PM characteristics. Through the investigation of the power spectrum density of the transmitted signal , spectral regrowth or sideband regrowth which is result from amplitude distortion can be seen. All these characteristics result in BER performance degradation due to other user interferences and intersymbol interference. The analysis technique described here applies not only to power amplifier but also to any other nonlinear components such as mixers and switches. Also the effects of adjacent channel interference and supurious emission can be analyzed between different systems.

      • 고주파 공진형 인버터식 X선발생장치의 관전압 불균형 개선

        In order to radiate X-ray, the low ripple stabilized high voltage DC over the range of 40kV to 150kV is directly inflicted to X-ray tube. The energy characteristics of the radiated X-ray depend on the pulsating waveforms of the DC voltage supplied X -ray tube. In general, the low ripple voltage waveforms with fast rising times are required to increase with the dosage per unit time lest the exposure time should be longer in order that the motion artifacts of an object may be eliminated in actual. The rotating anode and the cathode of the metal-envelope X-ray tube are incorporated into an envelope made of metal, for instance stainless steel and copper, instead of hard glass. This metal envelope is able to collect the secondary electrons which causes harmful influence to thequality of the diagnostic images. Furthermore, the metal-envelope X-ray tube has mechanically higher strength than glass-envelope type, and so it suits for high power X-ray system. For those benefits, this type of X-ray tube is mainly used to obtain the high quality diagnostic images in X-ray angiography and X-ray computed tomography. The electrons collected at th envelope generate the eletric current flow form the ground to the cathode and occasionally the unmatched impedance of the anode side and the cathode side of the X-ray tube. The unmatched impedance causes the remarkable imblacne of the output voltage of the series resonant inverter-fed converter. In this paper, the newly-developed converter to take the balance of the output voltage versus the ground are also presented in detail. This converter consists of the two independent series resonant circuit using the two capacitance and the two parimary winding high-voltage transformer.
