I connected trends of thought and characters of an area with Seowons. Aa a result of this way I have known some interesting objects.

        Through the study on the location and direction of seowon in choson dynasty, I get some interest conclusions. The first factor for fix the location of seowon architecture is the connected place of ancient sages, the second factor is mountain and water and around environment and many cases the direction of seowons are the same extension line of this important factors.

        We extract hand region by using color information, because it is an important feature for human vision to distinguish objects. Because pixel values in images are changed according to the luminance and lighting source, it is difficult to extract hand region exactly without previous knowledge. We generate a hand skin model at leaning stage, and extract hand region from images by using the model. We also use Kalman filter to consider the change of pixel values in hand skin model. Kalman filter restricts the search area for extracting hand region at next frame also.

      • 충남지역 심근경색 환자들의 식이섬유소 섭취상태와 혈청지질 분포와의 관계

        Preventive effect of dietary fiber to cardiovascular disease has been known for a long time. Recently, cardiovascular disease emerged as the leading cause of death in Korea. In this study. amount of dietary fiber intake and the effects of dietary fiber on serum lipid levels were investigated among cardiovascular patients. Seventy five out-patients with myocardial infarction(MI) history of more than 3 month past were selected and all subjects were gathered on July 7 for cardiac rehabilitation program. Twenty four hour recall was conducted to investigate amount of dietary fiver intake by trained interviewers. Serum lipid levels were determined on a fasting blood specimen obtained by venipuncture after an interview. Total triglyceride, total cholesterol and HDL-cholesterol levels were measure using automatic analyzer and LDL-cholesterol levels were calculated using the Friedewald's equation. The average dietary intake was 5.75/day which was about 34% of average dietary fiber intake level in rual Korea. The average age of the subjects in the present study were 63 and 66% of the subjects were more than 60 years old. Average caloric intake of the subjects were 1511.3㎉. protein intake was 58.2g Since most of the subjects were under nutitional status, the dietary fiber intake level was calculate as the amount per 1000㎉ caloric intake. The average was 3.84g/1000㎉. Total serum triglyceride level was 169.5㎎/㎗, total serum cholesterol level was 188.9㎎/㎗, serum HDL-cholesterol level was 42.1㎎/㎗ and LDL- cholesterol level was 113.0㎎/㎗ The amount of dietary fiber intake and the serum lipid levels did not show any significant correlation. This might be due to the low dietary fiber consumption. The overall food and nutrient consumption of the subjects was very low and modification of patients' poor eating patterns would play a key role to rehabilitate of MI patients.

      • CO₂고정을 위한 화학독립영양미생물 Aeromonas sp. strain JS-1의 분리 및 특성

        The increase of CO2 in the atmosphere by fossil-fuel combustion has been recognized as a major cause of global warming. Thus many studies on CO2 removal from the combustion gas have been performed, and recently the techniques for biological CO2 fixation by photoautotrophs have also been developed, In this study, extensive screening was conducted to obtain micoorganism with high capability in fixing CO2, and its characteristics was investigated. As a result, a chemoautotrophs identified as a Aeromonas sp. strain JS-1 was isolated from the fresh water. The isolated strain used the molecular hydrogen and CO2 as an energy and a carbon source, respectively. Growth characteristics, which will be used in the development of a continuous culture system related in CO2 fixation, were examined in batch cultivation under conditions of various CO2 and NaCl concentrations, temperature, and pH. The results of the examination showed that the isolated strain had a good growth to high CO2 concentration(40%), indicating applicable in removing CO2 discharged from industries.

      • 활성 슬러진에서 분리한 세균 Delftia sp. JK-2에 의한 산업 유기용매의 제거

        Activated sludge samples were collected from a municipal sewage treatment plant and used for enrichment of microbial consortia with aniline as the sole carbon and nitrogen source. A bacterium which had excellent aniline degradability was isolated for this work. Biodegradation of industrial organic solvents such as aniline, benzoate, or p-hydroxybenzoate by Delftia sp. JK-2 was examined in the media containing the target substrates in Erlenmeyer flasks, respectively. The JK-2 cells degraded 10 mM aniline, 5 mM benzoate or 5 mM p-hydroxybenzoate completely within 36 hours, 48 hours or 40 hours, respectively. Microscopic examination of the strain revealed Gram-negative and short rod cells. Physiological analysis using BIOLOG GN2 MicroPlate™ system was performed to identify the strain JK-2. As the results of this identification processes, the strain JK-2 could be assigned to genus Delftia, and designated as Delftia sp. JK-2

      • 自然과 敎育課程의 問題 : 地球科學 分野 中心 Based on Earth Science Areas

        This paper aims at studing an important general issue in Earth Science curriculum policy and planning, and making an approach to the issue in relation to an area of the curriculum which is of particular current concern to Earth Science education in elementary science. First, it has analyzed the science education system, its curriculum, the teaching status, the pre-and in-service for science teacher, historical science education, and new science programs in 1970's. Secondly, it has also analyzed earth science curricula of elementary school science in Korea, in the United States(Holt's), and in Japan(Kelinggan's) for purpose of making a comparison between them in its learning objectives, its structure and application, its scopes and sequences, the ratio of the earth science area to other science area, the concepts of the air units. Thirdly, an analysis of earth science curricula of three country textbooks has been made. It is as follows: the study is an the competency goals and performance indicators, detail studies of them for the compilation purposes, the structure and application, scopes and sequences, the comparison of the earth science areas, and the method of evaluation. According to the contents presented inquiry learning is dealt with almost equally both in Korea and Japan, but some differences can be found in the textbook of the United States, where a lot of explanation can be found. The number of pages of the text from first to sixth grade is different from each other country. The elementary science is divided into four main sequence areas of physics, chemistry, life science and earth sciences in Korea and Japan, but there are three sequences of life science, earth sciences, and physical sciences in the United States. As for concept analysis of earth science area, the Holt Science has 315 concepts, Korea has 200, and Japan's has 108. The level of contents in earth science in Holt Science is higher than Korea's, while they are presented by the type of playing games in Japan's textbooks. The sequence orders according to the grades are different from each other in chapter of the Earth Changing in the three country texts. As for the form of article narration in the texts, they are somewhat different in that there are many question forms in Korea's and Kelingan's science in Japan, but in the United States definition forms are mostly found in the Holt Science instead. Especially, Holt Science has related its contents with human life at the end of each chapter; for example, "people and science" for the lower graders, and "careers" for the higher graders. They have answers to activities at the end of each chapter, and a few Korean chapter have a similar activity sections. As for the factors of inquiry process, there are 8 with which almost the same factors are used in Korean textbooks, 13 factors (according to SAPA program) in the United States, and none in Japanese texts what they are believed to be topic centered.

        『樸素村話』소재 당쟁이야기의 진술방식과 지향의식 : 신임사화 관련 작품을 중심으로

        This study is to inquire how the partisan strifes were described and what "Shin Im Sa Wha" was intended to mean in Park So Chon Wha. Park So Chon Wha includes many stories about partisan strifes caused by "Shin Im Sa Wha" in the 18th century. The authour described them in the way of distinguishing the natures of the character's natures and dramatising the events at that time. The author shared the same position as Horon in Noron faction in dealing with the partisan strifes. In other words, he was supporting the theory of "the different natures between human and animals". This study will contribute to clarify the general aspects of Park So Chon Wha.
