The research aimed to investigate the current status of teaching and learning for the scientifically middle school students through survey questionnaire of 79 practicing science teachers at special classes in middle schools (SCMS) and gifted education institutions affiliated with university (GEIU). The most frequently used teaching methods appeared as hands-on activity at laboratory and discussion and presentation. For the level of teaching and learning for the gifted, it that teachers at GEIU perceived their teaching higher than teachers at SCMS. Teachers with master degrees perceived higher than those with or degrees. Participation in inservice training programs for gifted education positively influenced on their teaching level far teachers at SCMS. However, the apposite appeared for teachers at GEIU.

This study was carried out to find out the current status of the cooperative medical practices of the oriental and western medicine in Korea. The structured questionnaires were mailed to 93 oriental medical doctors(OMDs) and 93 western medical doctors(MDs) working in cooperative institutions of oriental & western medicine and 29 OMDs working in oriental medical hospital from September 16 to October 31, 1999. The response rate is 47(50.5%) cases from OMDs and 20(21.5%) cases from MDs working in cooperative institutions of oriental & western medicine and 10 cases (34.5%) from OMDs working in oriental medical hospital. These data were analyzed by χ^2 test, T-test, ANOVA and multiple regression by using SAS package. The major findings were as follows: There were 122 oriental hospitals in August 1999. The 76.2% of oriental hospitals was doing cooperative practices. The number of cooperative institutions was increasing rapidly in recent years and there were many OMDs who intend to open cooperative practices in the near future. Only 15% of the cooperative institutions had guidelines to do cooperative practices. The majority of the cooperative institutions is combination of oriental hospital and western clinics. It was turned out that both side of MDs and OMDs recognized necessity of cooperative practices keenly and it would be effective for control of diseases. Many MDs and OMDs answered that cooperative practices was practically helpful for patients. the OMDs feel decrease in emotional stress but MDs feel increase in emotional stress in case of cooperative practices. The OMDs were not satisfied with the government medical policies on legal matters. Three disease categories such as cerebrovascular accidents, back pain and musculoskeletal disease occupied majority of disease. It is recommended that western medical students study oriental medicine. MDs and OMDs should have seminars and workshops to exchange knowledge and experiences. It is most urgent that the guidelines for cooperative practices should be provided. And more cooperative relation between OMDs and MDs should be provided.
韓·日 초등학생의 여가활용 실태와 요구 및 만족도 비교 연구

This study is designed to find and compare the leisure activities, need, and satisfaction of Korean elementary students with that of Japanese ones. For subject of the study, focusing on Korean(Cheonan: 284 students of second, fourth, sixth year elementary school) and Japan(Matshdosi: 256 students of second, fourth, sixth year elementary school). Each school was visited to collect data with a group survey from October 14 to October 25, 2002. A SPSS 10.0 statistic program was used for data analysis. The results are as follows; First, for leisure activities of the week, it is found in Korean elementary students as follows; of students goes to study-related, following responded to have game/chatting/searching on computer. In Japanese elementary students, responded to playing with peers and exercising, following by watching television/videos, and playing electric game. For the weekend leisure activities, of Korean elementary students, responded to have game/chatting/searching on computer, following by playing with friends/exercising, and watching TV/videos, Japanese elementary students, responded playing with friends/exercising, to be first, following by eating-out with family/visiting, and watching TV/videos. In leisure activities during vacation, most Korean students responded that they supplement work far behind with school work or do vacation homework, Next, responded that they have game/chatting/searching on compute. For Japanese students, said that they play with friends/exercise, as are the case in the week and weekend, responded to have watching TV/videos, and playing electric game. Second, in leisure need, it is found that Korean students want to do most computer game/chatting/searching, following by playing with peers/exercising, and going to amusement parks. For Japanese students, said that the most like to play with friends/exercise, following by eating-out with family/visiting. What they most want to d during vacation is found to be playing with friends/exercising, indicating that Japanese students like keeping company most and that they often get together with peer group. Third, in satisfaction at leisure activities, it is interpreted that both Korean and Japanese students are mostly satisfied at their leisure activities.
초등학교 교육과정과 교과서에 농업·농촌의 기능 및 가치 반영 방안

이 연구는 농업ㆍ농촌의 기능과 가치를 재정립하고 이를 초등학교 교육과정 및 교과서에 반영시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있었다. 이를 위하여 먼저 선행연구 고찰을 통하여 농업ㆍ농촌의 기능과 가치를 재개념화하고, 이를 토대로 내용 분석 틀을 개발하여 초등학교 교육과정 및 교과서를 분석 하고, 그 결과를 토대로 교육과정 및 교과서에 반영시키기 위한 방안을 제시하였다. 그 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 농업ㆍ농촌의 기능과 가치는 크게 자연환경적 기능(수자원 함양 기능, 환경정화 기능, 생태계 보전기능, 자연재해 방지 기능), 사회문화적 기능(전통문화 보전 기능, 정서의 순화 기능, 자연학습의장 제공 기능), 사회경제적 기능(농산물 공급 기능, 직업 기회 제공 기능, 국토의 균형발전 기능, 타 산업에의 기여 기능)으로 분류하였다. 둘째, 농업ㆍ농촌의 기능과 가치를 바탕으로 초등학교 교육과정 및 교과서를 분석한 결과, 전 학년에 걸쳐서 자연학습의 장 제공 기능과 전통문화 보전 기능이 높게 나타났고, 그 다음으로는 농산물 공급기능과 정서순화기능이 높게 나타났다. 반면에 수자원함양기능과 환경정화기능은 상대적으로 낮게 나타났다. 셋째, 내용분석을 토대로 교과의 성격을 고려하여 각 교과별로 농업ㆍ농촌의 기능과 가치를 반영시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다. 마지막으로, 각 교과별로 농업ㆍ농촌의 기능과 가치 반영 방안을 체계적으로 이행하기 위한 행ㆍ재정적 지원 방안을 교육과정 개발 측면, 교과서 개발 측면, 교육과정 운영측면, 정책적 지원 측면으로 구분 하여 제시하였다. The purpose of the study is to suggest the strategies for incorporating the roles and values of agriculture & rural areas as a part of the national curriculum and elementary school textbooks. For this purpose, this study was conducted as follows; First, we reclassified the roles and values of agriculture & rural areas after critically reviewing literature: environmental conservation functions, socio-cultural functions and socio-economic functions. Second, based on the new classification, we develop a framework for analyzing the national curriculum and elementary school textbooks. The functions of rural areas as places for learning about nature and purifying emotion and the importance of agriculture in providing agricultural product were frequently presented but the functions of sustaining water resources and environmental purification were relatively less presented in the national curriculum and elementary school textbooks. Third, we suggested strategies for incorporating the roles and values of agriculture & rural areas in the national curriculum and elementary school textbook based on the analysis. Finally, we suggested necessary administrative and financial assistance to systematically and effectively implement the suggested strategies for developing a new curriculum and textbooks as well as implementing the curriculum.

본 연구는 에나어그램 성격유형 파악을 위한 탐색적 연구로서 에니어그램 성격유형카드 도구를 개발하고 본 도구가 에니어그램 성격유형을 얼마나 잘 나타낼 수있는지에 대한 타당도를 검증하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 에니어그램 유형카드 도구의 문항추출 및 문항선정과정은 1차,2차 및 3차에 걸처 이루어졌다. 차 문항선정과정은 문헌조사와 성인 대상 워크숍을 통해 문항을 추출한 후 전문가 내용타당도를 토대로 총 114개의 에니어그램 성격유형별 문항을 추출하였다. 2차 문항선정과정은 1차 문항선정에서 추출한 114개 의 문항을 에니어그램 전문가 5인 에게 내용타당도를 검증받아 총 77문항을 선정하였다. 3차 문항선정과정은 2차 문항 과정에서 선정된 총 77개 의 문항분석으로 경인지역에 살고 있는 성인남녀 168 명의 자료로 분석을 실시하여 각 성격 유형별로 문항 전체 상관계수가 .30이상인 것을 선정하여 본 연구도구 최종문항 총 69문항으로 문항을 구성하여 에니어그램 유형카드 도구를 개발하였다. 공인타당도검증을 위해 서울 경인지역 성인40명을 대상으로 한국형 에니어그랩 성격유형척도검사 결과와 본 연구도구 검사결과의 성격유형의 일치도를 살펴보면 7유형이 66.6%로 가장 높은 일치도를 보였으며, 1유형과 9유형이 60.0%의 일치율을 보였으며, 2유형, 4유형, 6유형이 50.0%,5유형이 40.0%, 3유형이 33.3%의 일치율을 보이고 전체적인 일치율은 52.5%로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과의 의의는 문항구성 시 유형별 특성의 구인을 강점, 약점, 스트레스포인터, 안정포인터로 4개의 구인으로 문항을 구성했으며, 에니어그램 성격유형을 파악함에 있어 좀 더 쉽고, 융통성 있고, 자신을 보다 심도있게 관찰할 수 있는 정성적 방법으로 접근한 유형카드의 장점을 활용함과 더불어 자신의 성격유형을 검사하는데 기존척도와 상호보완할 수 있도록 기초자료로 제공할 수 있다. This study is an exploratory study to identify Enneagram personality types. It aims to develop barometers for Ennegram personality type cards and to verify how those barometers reflect the Enneagram personality types. In this study, question items that serve as barometers for Enneagram personality type cards were sampled and selected through the first, second and third processes. During the first question selection process, question items was sampled through literature search and workshops for adults, and then a total of 114 questions per Enneagram personality type were sampled based on experts' validation. In the second process, the 114 questions sampled in the first process were validated by 5 Enneagram experts to select 77 questions. In the third process, the selected 77 questions were used to analyze the data from 168 females and male adults living in the Gyeongin area, and then questions whose correlation coefficient is 0.30 or higher were selected per personality type. A total of 69 questions were finally taken as the confirmed set of barometers. The meanings of the result of this study are as follows; First, this study selected questions based on four elements of personal types such as strength, weakness, stress pointer and stability pointer. Second, in order to understand the Enneagram personality types, this study broke away from the existing quantitative approach while using the advantage of personality type cards that take a qualitative approach, which enables one to observe oneself more easily, flexibly, and minutely. Third, this study can provide the basic data which are mutually complementary with the existing barometers in examining the personality type of one own. Furthermore, if the barometers are supplemented through the more elaborate study designs and its execution, they could become the highly reliable and validate barometers which is very useful as personality test too.
MICROWAVE GENERATION OF SPACE-CHARGE LIMITTED CURRENTS

Dynamics of an intense relativistic electron beam above the space charge limitted current is investigated in order to identify the microwave generation characteristics of an oscillating virtual cathode in a TM resonant cavity. The coupling between the beam and the TM resonant modes is defined by modeling the electron beam with a one dimensional discrete sheets. The governing equations for the interaction are obtained. These equations form a basis of the numerical code that can predict the beam dynamics near the nonlinear saturation regime.

This paper introduces a method to automate process design using Case Based Reasoning technique. Particularly, the function-behavior-structure model is used to represent a process plan as a case. Specifically, a case retrieval algorithm to use function and behavior, case adaptation knowledge definition by using neural network technique, and a machine selection method are presented.
