      • Efficacy of Long-Term Tenofovir-Based Therapy in Chronic Hepatitis B Patients with Previous Nucleos(t)ide Analogues Treatment Experience

        Aims: Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (TDF) is considered as the preferred treatment option for chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients with treatment failure or resistance to prior nucleos(t)ide analogues (NAs) treatment. We investigated the efficacy of long-term TDF-based therapy in CHB patients with previous NAs-experience. Methods: This study included total 251 patients who had previous history of NAs therapy and were treated with TDF mono (n=173) or TDF combined with other NA (n=78) from August 2012 to March 2017. Virologic response (VR) was defined as undetectable serum HBV DNA by PCR (<20 IU/mL). Results: Mean age of patients was 49.3 years, median duration of TDF therapy was 27.2 months, 75.7% were HBeAg-positive, and median HBV DNA was 3.7 log10IU/mL. The cumulative rates of VR were 188/244 (77.0%), 180/211 (85.3%), and 146/161 (90.7%) at 12, 24, and 36 months, respectively. Multivariate analysis showed that body mass index (OR 0.77, 95% CI 0.61-0.95, p=0.0189) and duration of TDF therapy (OR 1.09, 95% CI 1.02-1.18, p=0.0221) was significantly associated with VR. TDF monotherapy, HBeAg-positivity, platelet count, serum albumin was associated with VR in the univariate analysis, but not significant in the multivariate analysis. In relation to renal safety, patients showed renal impairment (7, 3.0%), mild hypophosphatemia (15, 7.2%), severe hypophosphatemia (1, 0.4%). Conclusions: Long-term TDF-based therapy demonstrated highly effective in viral suppression and relatively favorable renal safety in CHB patients with previous NA-experience. The body mass index and duration of TDF therapy was independent factors associated with VR.

      • Facile and fast Na-ion intercalation employing amorphous black TiO<sub>2-x</sub>/C composite nanofiber anodes

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Structural and electronic modification of titanium oxide (TiO<SUB>2</SUB>) nanomaterials induced by the co-introduction of fully disordered glass phase and oxygen vacancies can lead to remarkable advances in the electrode performance in emerging energy storage systems. We report on the effective co-creation of fully amorphous nanofibers (NFs) composed of black TiO<SUB>2-x</SUB> and conductive carbons throughout the NF structure, and evaluate the materials as potential anodes in sodium-ion batteries. The black TiO<SUB>2-x</SUB> nanofiber is successfully fabricated by electrospinning a precursor solution followed by a two-step sequential thermal treatment in an air and reducing atmosphere. The NF electrode could deliver approximately two-fold higher 2nd discharge capacity and an excellent kinetic performance even under high rates compared to that delivered by anatase-structured white TiO<SUB>2</SUB> NFs used as reference, because of (i) an inherent free volume in the glass phase corresponding to the enlarged Na<SUP>+</SUP> sites, (ii) increased electrical conductivity (low bandgap) resulting from the presence of Ti<SUP>3+</SUP>, (iii) introduction of conductive carbon agents around the TiO<SUB>2-x</SUB> domain, and (iv) one-dimensional NF feature allowing numerous Na<SUP>+</SUP> reaction sites at the electrochemical interface.         김춘수 후기시에 나타난 감각 연구

        서구의 형이상학의 전통은 데카르트적 이분법적 사유에 뿌리를 두어 시각이 우세한 문화를 형성하였다. 원근법에 근거한 시각 중심주의가 창안한 감각의 위계화는 시각보다 비가시성인 소리인 청각이나 촉각을 시각에 종속시켜 도외시하였다. 그러나 소리의 문화는 19세기 후반부터 산업혁명으로 시각 예술과 청각 예술의 상호보완적 관계 속에서 감각의 교환을 통해 이미지의 청각화와 소리의 시각화 현상이 나타났다. 소리 즉 청각은 음향복제 미디어의 등장과 복사가 불가능한 음을 기록, 복사하고 저장할 수 있게 되어 축음기 등으로 음이나 음성을 시각화하여 소리의 비가시성을 가시화하였다. 이처럼 시각과 청각의 감각 교류는 김춘수의 후기시에서 청각성의 강화로 시각이 약화하여 ‘시각의 청각화’라는 감각의 전환을 보이고 있다. 김춘수의 후기시에서 드러나는 ‘시각의 청각화’ 양상은 두 가지 방식으로 리듬감을 형성하고 있다. 하나는 특정 통사구조의 반복을 통한 리듬감의 형성이고, 다른 하나는 언어 유희적인 통사 해체에 의한 질료적 음성의 리듬감 형성이다. 김춘수 후기시에서 리듬을 형성하는 청각의 양상은 시의 의미의 단일화와 통일성을 저해하는 요소로 작용하고 있다. 즉, 청각은 리듬과 밀접한 연관을 지녀 언어 이전의 음성 질료적인 차원의 원초성을 환기하고 있다. 이때 언어 이전의 음성 질료적인 차원의 리듬으로 드러나는 ‘시각의 청각화’는 김춘수의 역사인식이 그 바탕을 이루고 있음을 알 수 있다. ‘역사=이데올로기=폭력’이라는 시인의 역사인식은 역사와 이데올로기에 대한 폭력성을 언어와 언어, 언어와 사물을 분리해 세계의 원초성을 드러내는 질료적 음성을 통해 자유를 구가하는 탈근대적 감각을 보여주고 있다.       • Mutation in PMR1, a Ca^2+ -ATPase in Golgi, Confers Salt Tolerance in Saccharomyces cerevisiae by Inducing Expression of PMR2, an Na^+ -ATPase in Plasma Membrane

        Sodium tolerance in yeast is enhanced by continuous activation of calcineurin, a Ca^2+/calmodulin-dependent protein phosphatase that is required for modulation of the Na^+ efflux mechanism. We isolated several salt-tolerant mutations with the treatment of ethylmethane sulfonate under high salt stress. One of the mutations was mapped in the PMR1 gene. Pmr1p, the P-type Ca^2+ -ATPase in the Colgi apparatus, regulates a cytosolic Ca^2+ level in various responses. Cytosolic Ca^2+ concentration in the pmr1 mutant is highly maintained, and thus calcineurin is activated continuously. The treatment of FK506, a specific inhibitor of calcineurin, abolishes the salt-tolerant phenotype of the pmr1 mutant. Activates caicineurin induces the expression of PMR2, encoding the P-type Na^+-ATPase, through the specific transcription factor, Tcn1p/Crzlp. Also, experssion of the PMR2::lacZ reporter gene in the pmr1 higher than that in wild type. We propose that the pmr1 mutation confers salt tolerance through continuous activation of calcineurin and that Pmr1p might act as a major Ca^2+-ATPase under high salt stress.

        This paper proposes new Fraud Detection System with Hyper-parameter Optimization to develop for the limitations of existing FDS. We use Hyper-parmeter Optimization Algorithm that Naïve Evolution Algorithm(based Genetic Algorithm) and Tree-structured Parzen Estimator Algorithm(based Bayesian Optimization Algorithm). The main result of this study is TPE Algorithm shows better AUPRC values in less time than the Naïve Evolution Algorithm on two FDS Data Sets. The contribution of this paper is the improvement of FDS with HPO algorithm.

      • Comparison of Virologic Response and Renal Safety of Long-Term Antiviral Therapy with Tenofovir and Entecavir in Naive Patient with Chronic Hepatitis B

        Aims: Tenofovir (TDF) entecavir (ETV) are considered as the preferred treatment options for treatment-naïve chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients. We compared the virologic response and renal safety of long-term TDF versus ETV therapy in naïve CHB patients. Methods: This retrospective study included total 432 patients who were treated with TDF (n=205) or ETV (n=227) from August 2012 to March 2017. Virologic response (VR) was defined as undetectable serum HBV DNA by PCR (<20 IU/mL). Results: Mean age of patients, sex, baseline serum levels of AST, ALT, creatinine, and HBV DNA were not significantly different between TDF and ETV groups. The cumulative rates of VR between TDF and ETV groups were 71.6% vs. 61.8% (p=0.477), 88.1% vs. 79.6% (p=0.058), and 84.8% vs. 83.7% (p=0.966) at 1, 2, and 3 years, respectively. The cumulative rates of genotypic resistance between TDF and ETV groups were 0% vs. 0%, 0% vs. 1.5% (p=0.404), and 0% vs. 2.2% (p=0.447) at 1, 2, and 3 years, respectively. Incidences of renal impairment and hypophosphatemia during treatment up to 3 years were not significantly different between two groups. Multivariate analysis showed that HBeAg-positivity (OR 0.27, 95% CI 0.12-0.58, p=0.0012) and serum HBV DNA at 1 year 2000 IU/mL (OR 0.09, 95% CI 0.03-0.25, p<0.0001) were significantly associated with VR. Conclusions: Long-term TDF and ETV treatments appear to have similar virologic response and renal safety in naïve CHB patient. However, long-term ETV therapy might to be associated with genotypic resistance in 2.2% up to 3 years, while none of patients on TDF therapy did.

      • 비소 세포형 폐암에서의 p53과 bcl-2 유전자의 발현에 관한 연구

        We investigated immunohistochemical expression of bcl-2 and p53 genes in 30 resected human non-small cell lung cancers. We attempted to know how frequently these gene alterations occur and the correlation between their immunoreactivity and clinicopathologic parameters such as sex, histologic type, differentiation, and stage. Also, the p53 immunoreactivity was compared with that of bcl-2 to detect their inverse or positive relationship. By ABC(avidin biotin complex) immunostainings using p53 and bcl-2 primary monoclonal antibodies on the paraffin blocks, p53 gene mutation and bcl-2 overexpression were found in 29 (96.6%) and 22(73.3%) 30 cases, respectively. Both immunopositivities were detected in 21 cases(70%), whereas neither immunopositivity in only one (3.3%) case. Almost all clinicopathologic parameters revealed no significant correlation with both immunoreactivities of p53 and bcl-2 genes except for the significantly higher overepression of bcl-2 gene in the squamous cell type than that of the non-squamous cell type ant there was neither inverse nor positive relationship between p53 and bcl-2 immuno-expressions. In conclusion, most cases of the non-small cell lung cancers are found to undergo both p53 mutation and bcl-2 overexpression, but their expressivity does not have any relationship with most of clinicopathologic variables. The two genetic alterations seem to be involved coexistently in the molecular pathogenesis of the non-small cell lung cancers.

        백화점 쇼윈도우 디스플레이에 관한 실태조사 : 대전 지역을 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the window display in the department stores in Daejeon. The framework of execution, colors, illumination, and kinds and colors of mannequins of the window display in four department stores in Daejeon were analyzed based on the photographs of displays from January to October in 2001. The results were as follows: First, in the framework of execution, each department store used mostly the triangle-framework during four seasons, which was a fundamental framework. Its characteristics were a sense of security, three-dimensional effect, and balance. It was the most suitable framework for the mannequins and toruso. Second, a color scheme for commodities was all no-coloring scheme in each four seasons. The color of background was mostly white which harmonized well with the colors of commodities and lights. The plan for the color scheme of window display should always executed on the commodities, and the color should be harmonized to produce the best display effect. Moreover, when commodities had two colors, the color of background should be in one simple color that manifest the commodities, or that is secondary color to the main color of commodities. Third, all department stores used all same illumination. Lack of illumination, management, and expense incured ineffective production of the display. Fourth, mostly, real mannequins with white or skin colors were used, and the toruso was next used in department stores. The set was limited because many companies had not made new sets for the display. Therefore, new sets including mannequins should be actively developed to produce effective display.
