To improve the oxidation resistance of the 4D CFRCs, the surface of CFRCs was coated with SiC by the pack cementation method. The morphology of crystalline and texture of these SiC coated 4D CFRCs were investigated by XRD and SEM/EDS observation. The oxidation resistance were observed through the air oxidation test and the ablation properties of them observed by torch test. The results of experiment could be summarized as follows. 1) As a result of analysing the 4D CFRCs with SEM and EDS, it was found that the material on which coated by pack cementation was the SiC, and the thickness of coated layer was about 200㎛. 2) The oxidation resistance of SiC coated CFRCs was much increased up to 1,500℃ as a result of air oxidation test. As oxidation temperature initiated was about 800℃, temperature was raised about 300℃. 3) From SEM observation after air oxidation test, glassy anti-oxidation layer of SiO_(2) was formed on surface of CFRC. 4) At arc plasma torch test the ablation rate of bare CFRC was 0.0590 g/sec, while SiC coated CFRC at coating temperature of 1850℃ was 0.0013g/sec.
TTT경화도표에 의한 에폭시 시스템의 경화반응 메카니즘과 반응속도에 대한 연구

Arbitrary cure temperatures were selected by using TGA (thermogravimetric analysis) for a uncured mixture of epoxy resins and anhydrides with accelerators. The TTT (time-temperature-transformation) cure diagram, including the iso-T_(g) contours, the vitrification curve, and the full cure line, was determinated by using a one-to-one relationship among the temperature of glass transition (T_(g)), the residual enthalpy (ΔHr), and the conversion ratio (α) which were obtained by using DSC (differential scanning calorimetry). And then an optimum cure cycle was considered within the region of the glass transition temperature, T_(g)∞, of a fully cured epoxy system. In order to accelerate cure reactions of an epoxy/anhydride system within the selected cure condition, a tertiary amine was used. TGA, DSC, and FT-IR(Fourier Transform-Infrared) were used to examine the effects of accelerators against epoxy resins and anhydride hardeners and to investigate cure reactions for an accelerators-added epoxy/anhydride system. Based on experimental results, the mechanisms of cure reaction were proposed, hereby the kinetics of cure reaction were calculated.
영상 회의 시스템의 성능 Ripple Effect 분석 모델

소프트웨어 시스템의 변경은 연관된 다른 요소에 영향을 미치게 된다. 특히 모듈 단위로 구성된 소프트웨어의 경우, 하나의 모듈이 변경됨에 따른 성능 변화의 파급 효과가 발생한다. 이는 소프트웨어의 유지 보수를 어렵게 만들고 비용의 증가를 가져올 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재 개발 중인 의료 영상회의 시스템을 모듈 별로 분리하여 모듈 간의 성능 파급 효과 분석을 위한 모델을 제시한다. As every knows, modification of a software system affects other related components in the software. Specially, modification of a module in a software, combined with module units, makes Performance Riffle Effects. This makes it difficult to maintain a software and cost a lot. This paper suggests a model for analyzing Performance Ripple Effects among modules by separating the Medical Image Conference System(MICS), which is being studied, into several modules.

Extracting a license plate is an essential stage in the automatic car identification. Because car images are usually degraded and processes for the images are a computationally intensive job, it is difficult to extract a license plate correctly from the images. In this paper, we propose an extraction method of a license plate region based on color image segmentation. To segment the color image, we use a distributed genetic algorithm and transformed Hue-Saturation-Intensity color space as a measure of distance. The method offers robustness in dealing with deformation of car images and inherent parallelism to improve processing time. A test with car images on the roads shows an extraction rate of 93.8%. This result suggests that the proposed method works well with real-world situations, and is pertinent to be put into practical use.

소프트웨어의 객체지향 패러다임이 줄 수 있는 가장 큰 이점은 다형성(polymorphism)을 통한 재사용성(reusability)이다. 이러한 재사용성은 구현측면에서 코드의 재사용, 그래픽 사용자 인터페이스의 재사용, 분산 시스템에서의 인터페이스의 재사용에서는 잘 이루어지고 있으나, 설계단계에서의 재사용성은 아직 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 객체지향 설계단계에서 재사용할 수 있는 디자인 패턴(Design Pattern)으로서 분산 객체 환경인 CORBA 시스템 설계 시 적용할 수 있는 새로운 CORBA 디자인패턴을 제안한다. Designing object-oriented software is hard, and designing reusable object-oriented software is even harder. Design should be specific to the problem at hand but also general enough to address future problem and requirement. Expert Designers reuse solutions that have worked for them in the past. This solution is Design Pattern. The propose of this paper is to record experience in designing distributed-object CORBA software as CORBA design pattern.

Inhibitory effect of Scutellaria baicalensis ethanol extracts (SR) on chemical mediator release and immunoglobulin (Ig) production from Sprague-Dawley rats originated cells as type I allergic reaction was examined. SR showed concentration-dependent inhibition on basal and concanavalin A (ConA)-stimulated Ig production. In the mesenteric lymph node lymphocytes, the inhibitory effect of SR on the IgE production in the presence of Con A was stronger than these on IgA and IgG production. Moreover, tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) production-inhibiting effect of SR in the presence ConA was observed. However, SR did not affect the production of interferon-γ. SR also inhibited histamine release from the peritoneal exudate cells stimulated with a calcium ionophore A23187. In the case of leukotriene B4, SR markedly inhibited it at the concentration of 100 mg/ml. From these results, ethanol extracts obtained from Scutellaria baicalensis may have an anti-allergic effect on the intestinal system of rats.

칼라 유방암조직영상에서 질감 특징과 신경회로망을 이용한 양성세포핵과 음성세포핵의 자동 분할

본 논문에서는 질감 특징과 신경회로망을 이용한 유방암조직영상의 분할 방법을 제안한다. 신경회로망의 입력노드에 사용될 질감 특징을 얻기 위해 10개의 영상에 대해 각 영역(양성세포핵, 음성세포핵, 배경)에서 10개씩의 화소를 선택하고, 그 화소를 중심으로 하는 5×5 영역 30개를 획득, 총 300개의 영역에 대해 R, G, B 각각의 밴드에서 18개의 질감특징을 추출한다. 54개의 입력노드, 28개의 은닉노드, 3개의 출력노드의 구조를 가진 신경회로망을 구성하고, 역전파 학습 알고리즘을 사용하여 신경회로망을 최대오차율이 10^(-3) 보다 작을 때 까지 학습시킨다. 학습에 의해 획득되어진 분류기를 이용하여 유방암 조직 세포영상을 양성세포핵, 음성세포핵, 배경부분으로 자동 분할한다.
