This paper shows that serially uncorrelated monetary noise can affect output. even though every agent observes the price level and the money stock. if government responds to real shocks imperfectly and agents are asymmetrically informed. Furthermore, procyclical money can be associated with countercyclical price.
The Weathering Resistance of Sol-Gel Derived Anti - Reflective SiO₂-TiO₂ Thin Films

A transparent and colorless 80 SiO₂-20TiO₂(mol%) thin films on soda-lime-silica slide glass and sapphire substrate were obtained by spin-coating technique using tetraethyl orthosilicate and titanium trichloride as starting materials. The prepared film annealed at 750℃ showed a high transmittance and a low reflectance. For the SiO₂-TiO₂ films on slide glasses, a strong interaction between the sodium ion and oxygens is properbly the origin of the good stability to the high temperature and the high humidity.
Structural and Optical Properties of GaN Nanowires Formed on Si(111)

We discuss the structural and optical characteristics of GaN nanowires (NWs) grown on Si(111) substrates by a plasmaassisted molecular-beam epitaxy. The GaN NWs with high crystal quality were formed by adopting a new growth approach, so called Ga pre-deposition (GaPD) method. In the GaPD, only Ga was supplied without nitrogen flux on a SiN/Si surface, resulting in the formation of Ga droplets. The Ga droplets were used as initial nucleation sites for the growth of GaN NWs. The GaN NWs with the average heights of 60.10 to 214.62 nm obtained by increasing growth time. The hexagonal-shaped top surfaces and facets were observed from the field-emission electron microscope images of GaN NWs, indicating that the NWs have the wurtzite (WZ) crystal structure. Strong peaks of GaN (0002) corresponding to WZ structures were also observed from double crystal x-ray diffraction rocking curves of the NW samples. At room temperature, free-exciton emissions were observed from GaN NWs with narrow linewidth broadenings, indicating to the formation of high-quality NWs.
Sound Source Localization in Median Plane using Artificial Ear

Sound source localization is the method using the measurements of the acoustic signals from microphone arrays in acoustical engineering. This technique has been used broadly in 3-D sound technology, humanoid robot and teleconferencing and so on. For robot industry, their ultimate purpose is to be with human being. This is why the industry is demanding applicable robot’ auditory system in the form of artificial ears like human’ external ear such as ear pinna. It has more benefits to make use of auditory system with ear pinna to humanoid robots for HRI. In this paper, we propose a specific sound source localization method using a pair of artificial ears, each of which consisting of a single ear pinna and two microphones. The feasibility and localization performance of proposed method for speech signal in median plane is shown. Through the experiment in office environment, we confirm that robots with artificial ears can estimate the elevation angle of speech signal just using two microphone output signals.

Glass films of SiO₂-TiO₂-M_mO_y (M = Co, Cr or Cu) have been prepared on soda-lime-silica slide glasses by the chemical solution method using a spin-coating technique. Commercially available tetraethyl orthosilicate, titanium trichloride, and cobalt-, chromium- and copper-nitrates were used as starting materials. No crystalline segregations of Co₃O₄, Cr₂O₃ and CuO were observed by X-ray diffraction θ -2 θ scans. From the optical transmission analysis, cobalt existed as Co^(2+) in tetrahedral coordination, chromium as Cr^(h+) in tetrahedral symmetry and copper as Cu^(2+) in octahedral coordination. Films with a crack-free and no texture exhibited homogeneous interfaces between the films and the substrates along the cross-section.
