연구목적: 현재 경찰의 치안활동을 과학치안(Science Policing)의 방식으로 진화하고 있다. 경찰들은 과학적이고 효율적인 치안 활동을 위해 기존에 보유하고 있는 치안 빅데이터 기반의 스마트 치안을 지향하고 있으며, 한국에서도 경찰청 내 스마트치안구현단과 빅데이터 전담 부서인 치안빅데이터 정책담당관을 신설하고 빅데이터 통합 플랫폼 구축 사업을 통해 경찰청에서 보유하고 있는 다양한 종류의 데이터들을 통합·운영하기 위한 기틀을 마련하고 있다. 연구방법: 대한민국의 위기대응과 관련된 체제를 알아보고 스마트 치안의 적용가능 분야에 대하여 문헌연구를 통해 알아본다. 이를 통하여 이 연구에서는 스마트치안의 개념을 정립하고 위기상황에서 적용가능한 스마트치안의 사례에 대해 살펴본다. 또한 스마트치안을 활용하여 경찰의 위기상황 대응 방안을 제시해보고자 한다. 결론: 4차 산업혁명 기술을 이용하여 위기상황대응을 지원할 수 있는 안전분야 빅데이터 통합센터가 구축되어야 한다. 무엇이 위기이고 무엇을 우선 조치해야 하는지 알아야 위기현장에서 단시간내에 가장 효과적인 조치를 할 수 있다. 빅데이터와 함께 이를 분석해 줄 전문가 네트워킹이 갖춰진다면 보다 적절한 초동 대처가 가능하다. 취약요소에 대한 사전정보, 센서 등 4차 산업혁명 기술을 활용한 실시간 수집 정보, 경찰관이 쉽게 접근할 수 없는 곳에서 드론·로봇 등이 수집한 정보 등이 종합되면 위기상황에 대한 분석의 정확성을 높이고 초동조치의 실효성을 확보할 수 있을 것이다. 또한, 위기상황 발생 시 국민모두가 참여하는 위기상황 신고시스템을 운영할 필요가 있다. 위기현장을 모두 확인할 수 있는 위기대응역량과 장비는 한계가 있다. 이를 보완해 주기 위해서는 국민의 참여를 적극 유도해야 한다. 국민의 참여를 이끌어 냄으로써 평상시에도 국민 모두가 안전에 대한 경각심을 제고하고 이웃에 대한 안전을 확보할 수 있는 엄청난 시너지 효과를 제공할 수 있을 것이다. Pupose: The purpose of Police currently evolving in a scientific way. The police are aiming for the security big data based smart policing for scientific and efficient security activities. In Korea, they are establishing a security big data policy officer and establishing a big data integration platform. Methods: This study about the systems related to crisis response in Korea and to learn about applicable areas of smart policing through literature research. Through this work, the concept of smart policing is summarized and the examples of smart policing applicable in crisis situations are examined. In addition, it is intended to propose measures to cope with the crisis of the police by utilizing smart policing. Conclusion: A big data integration center in the safety sector should be established to support crisis response using the 4th Industrial Revolution technology. Knowing what is a crisis and what should be taken first can make the most effective action in a short time at the crisis site. If it is equipped with networking of experts to analyze it along with big data, it is possible to take more appropriate initial measures. If information on vulnerable factors, real-time collection using 4th industrial revolution technology such as sensors, and information collected by drones and robots in places where police officers cannot easily access, it will increase the accuracy of analysis and ensure the effectiveness of initial measures. In addition, it is necessary to operate a crisis reporting system in which all citizens participate in the event of a crisis. There are limitations in crisis response capabilities and equipment that can check all crisis sites. In order to make up for this, the government should actively encourage the public to participate. By leading the public's participation, it will provide a tremendous synergy effect that will raise awareness of safety and secure safety for neighbors in ordinary days.
Effects of Pig Skin Collagen Supplementation on Broiler Breast Meat

This study aimed to enhance the quality of broiler breast meat by adding pig skin collagen to feed. A total of 50 Ross 308 broilers were classified according to the following feeding regime for two weeks: basal diet (NC), basal diet+0.1% fish collagen (PC), basal diet+0.1% pig skin collagen (T1), basal diet+0.5% pig skin collagen (T2), and basal diet+1.0% pig skin collagen (T3). The moisture content was the highest in the PC group, and the protein content was the lowest in the T1 group (p<0.05). The fat content was higher in the T1 and PC groups, whereas the ash content was higher in the T3 group (p<0.05). Drip loss was the highest in the NC group and the lowest in the T2 group (p<0.05). Lightness was low in groups T2 and T3, redness was low in groups T2 and PC, and yellowness was low in groups T1, T2, and PC (p<0.05). The collagen content of the chicken breast was the highest in the T3 group, and that of the skin was the highest in the T1 group (p<0.05). The texture characteristics of springiness, cohesiveness, chewiness, and hardness were the highest in the T3 group (p<0.05). In conclusion, the supplementation of a broiler diet with pig skin collagen was found to increase the collagen content of the breast meat, indicating the improved quality of the broiler breast meat.

This study presents the Reliability Based Design Optimization (RBDO) of a helicopter, used in order to guarantee target performances for a large variation of annual atmospheric temperatures. To this end, analytic methods – statistical and empirical equations of aerodynamics,structure, propulsion and so on – are synthetically coupled within the multidisciplinary design analysis tool of the conceptual helicopter. Additionally, an atmospheric temperature model for annual air temperature variation is constructed in bimodal shape by considering 10 years worth of day-averaged air temperature data provided by the Korea Meteorological Administration. Based on this analysis tool and the annual atmospheric temperature model, the RBDO of a helicopter is performed to minimize maximum takeoff gross weight, with the helicopter rotor configuration parameters as a design variable. A Monte-Carlo simulation is used to accurately evaluate the reliabilities of endurance and range. This RBDO strategy is applied to a 22,000lb class medium utility helicopter, and the results are compared with those of a deterministic design optimization (DO) using constant air temperature and baseline helicopter. Through comparison of the results obtained from RBDO and those from the deterministic design optimization, it can be confirmed that the optimal design of RBDO results in greater improvements in performance over the baseline, for a wide range of operating air temperatures, than baseline helicopter and optimal shape of DO using constant air temperature. Therefore, in designing a helicopter to be operated in temperate climatic regions that show large variation in air temperature, such as Korea, China, the U.S.A, and so on, it is important to perform RBDO with reasonable annual air temperature models constructed from well-known and reliable data.
A Novel Shape Deforming Large-scale Flexible Sensor for Tactile Display

This paper describes a novel shape deforming large-scale flexible sensor for tactile display on a car’s armrest. The proposed sensor consists of a linear actuator array and a flexible large-scale sensor for deforming the shape of the sensor surface. Lots of small linear resonant actuators (LRAs), which are covered by the flexible tactile sensor, are arranged regularly. While the sensor has a flat surface in control, many LRAs below the flexible sensor protrude and form specific icon shapes in certain function activated state. Thus, when a user presses the display, the user can conjecture the icon like a braille pad with only finger’s feel. Once the user senses and presses protruded icons with a finger, the user can operate specific functions without vision. We expect that the proposed armrest can decrease distractions by vision and ensure better safety during driving.
Hydraulic Property and Solute Breakthrough from Salt Accumulated Soils under Various Head Pressures

Salt accumulated soil should be reclaimed to lower salt level for crop production. This study was carried out to investigate the characteristics of water flow and transport of mono and divalent solutes on salt accumulated soils with different head pressures. Saturated hydraulic conductivity was measured by constant and falling head methods with maintaining different head pressures. Saturated hydraulic conductivity was influenced by bulk density and organic matter contents in soils, but it had different elusion patterns between saline and sodic soil. While the quantity of water necessary for reclamation could be varies with soil type, it was considered that the supply of one pore volume of water was affordable and economic. Additional head pressure significantly increased the volume of leachate at a given time and it was more effective at low organic matter soils. The results indicate that additional head pressure would be one of the best irrigation practices on desalination method for salt accumulated soils.
