A Highly Linearized CMOS Transconductor with a Controlled Tail Current Source

In this paper, a CMOS transconductor is proposed. The proposed circuit is based on the conventional circuit proposed by Wang. The mobility reduction effect is aggressively taken into account. The validity of the proposed method is confirmed through computer simulation. The linear input voltage range of the proposed circuit is 3.3 times as wide as that of the conventional one.

In this paper, the synthesis of a complex filter is proposed. The prototype filter includes grounded imaginary resistors and floating capacitors. Therefore, the proposed circuit can be classified into the R<SUP>i</SUP>CR filter. The grounded imaginary resistor is realized by using two operational amplifiers and its surrounding resistors. As an example, a third-order complex filter is designed and its validity of the proposed method is confirmed through experiment. The experimental results are in good agreement with the theoretical frequency characteristics.
Synthesis of a Complex Filter Using Lossy Transformers

In this paper, the synthesis of a dissipative complex filter is proposed. The proposed circuit is realized by using resistors, capacitors, and lossy transformers. As an example, a third-order complex filter is designed and its validity of the proposed method was confirmed through computer simulation.
