국내 재래식 터널의 대부분에 존재하는 배면공동은 라이닝의 균열, 누수, 응력집중 등을 유발하여 터널 안정성에 큰 영향을 미치게 된다. 이러한 배면공동의 보강은 공동을 뒤채움하는 방법이 일반적으로 적용되고 있는데, 본 연구에서는 현재 산업폐기물로 취급되어 버려지고 있는 석분토를 이용하여 터널 뒤채움용 경량기포 충전재를 개발하였고, 실내물성시험과 노후터널에 대한 현장적용시험을 수행하여 개발 충전재의 적용성 평가를 실시하였다. The most tunnel damage such as cracks or leakage which exist in tunnel lining commonly, is caused by the voids where exist behind the tunnel lining, through the tunnel safety inspections. These voids were analysed to affect to a stability of a running-tunnel seriously. The aim of this paper is to develope the lightweight foam concrete for tunnel backfilling material using stone-dust of cake state and to apply the lightweight foam concrete developed to the old tunnel. This paper shows the basic properties of lightweight foam concrete mixed with stone-dust including flow rate, unit volume weight, absorption rate and compressive strength. In addition, according to the designed compound ratio, the lightweight foam concrete was applied to the ASSM tunnel for an application assessment. The engineering application of the lightweight foam concrete as the old tunnel's backfilling material was confirmed in this assessment.
수렴과 생산성 성장에 대한 인적자본의 효과: 국제 동적 패널

This paper examines the relationship among human capital, total factor productivity growth and convergence using international panel data on macroeconomic indicators and educational attainment. It explicitly allows for the heterogeneity in technology growth across countries by use of the stochastic Solow model and dynamic panel estimation techniques. Thus the convergence in this paper is toward the steady state of the individual country, not toward the common steady state for all nations in the data set as in the existing literature. It reports the findings as follows. First, heterogeneity in technology growth across countries, which has been typically assumed to be nonexistent in the growth literature, is found to be prominent. Second, the average estimates of convergence rates are between 27% and 32% per annum, which are much higher than those reported in the researches using cross-section data. Third, the model with human capital proxied by various educational attainment measures gives higher convergence rate estimates than the model without it. Fourth, the average estimates for technology growth are higher in the model with human capital than in the model without it. Fifth, it estimates the structural equation in which human capital levels can influence total factor productivity growth by domestic endogenous innovation and technological catch-up effects. It finds that the catch-up effect is stronger than the domestic innovation effect. 본고에서는 인적자본, 총요소 생산성 성장 및 수렴간의 관계에 대해 거시경제 지표와 교육적 성취에 대한 국제 패널 자료를 사용하여 연구하고자 한다. 확률적 솔로우 모형과 동적 패널 추정 기법을 사용하여 모형내에서 국가간 기술 성장률의 이질성이 명시적으로 허용된다. 따라서 본고에서의 수렴은 기존 문헌에서처럼 자료 집합내의 모든 국가들을 위한 공통적 균제 상태로의 수렴이 아니라, 개별 국가 자신의 특정 균제 상태로의 수렴이다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 기존의 성장 문헌에서 부재하는 것으로 보통 가정되어 온 국가간 기술 성장률의 이질성이 현저하다는 사실이 발견되었다. 둘째, 평균적 수렴 속도 추정치는 연간 27~32%로 기존의 횡단면 자료를 사용한 연구에서 보고된 추정치보다 훨씬 높게 추정되었다. 셋째, 다양한 교육적 성취 지표로 대리된 인적자본 변수가 포함된 모형이 포함되지 않은 모형보다 더 높은 수렴 속도 추정치를 보여주었다. 넷째, 인적자본이 있는 모형에서 없는 모형보다 기술 성장률의 평균 추정치가 더 높게 나타났다. 다섯째, 인적자본 수준이 국내 내생적 기술혁신과 기술추격 효과를 통해 총요소 생산성 성장에 영향을 줄 수 있는 구조 방정식을 추정한 결과, 기술추격 효과가 국내 기술혁신 효과보다 강력하다는 사실이 발견된다.

In this paper, an error-detection-coding-aided iterative hard decision interference cancellation (EDC-IHIC) scheme for multiple-input multiple-output systems employing hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) for multi-packet transmission is developed and investigated. In the EDC-IHIC scheme, only packets identified as error-free by the EDC are submitted to the interference cancellation (IC) stage for cancellation from the received signals. Therefore, the possibility of error propagation, including inter-transmission error propagation, can be eliminated using EDC-IHIC. Because EDC must be implemented in systems that employ HARQ to determine packet retransmission, error propagation can be prevented without the need for additional redundancy. The results of simulations conducted herein verify that the EDC-IHIC scheme outperforms conventional hard decision IC schemes in terms of the packet error rate in various environments.
Design and Simulation of Integral Twist Control for Helicopter Vibration Reduction

Closed-loop active twist control of integral helicopter rotor blades is investigated in this paper for reducing hub vibration induced in forward flight. A four-bladed fully articulated integral twist-actuated rotor system has been designed and tested successfully in wind tunnel in open-loop actuation. The integral twist deformation of the blades is generated using active fiber composite actuators embedded in the composite blade construction. An analytical framework is developed to examine integrally twisted helicopter blades and their aeroelastic behavior during different flight conditions. This aeroelastic model stems from a three-dimensional electroelastic beam formulation with geometrical-exactness, and is coupled with finite-state dynamic inflow aerodynamics. A system identification methodology that assumes a linear periodic system is adopted to estimate the harmonic transfer function of the rotor system. A vibration minimizing controller is designed based on this result, which implements a classical disturbance rejection algorithm with some modifications. Using the established analytical framework, the closed-loop controller is numerically simulated and the hub vibratory load reduction capability is demonstrated.
SOCIAL CAPITAL AND PRODUCER ORGANIZATIONS IN JAPANESE POLITICAL ECONOMY

Although the small and medium-sized firms have been an integral part of Japan's economic growth patterns, the way these firms are organized has mostly been studied only in relation to the more glamorous keiretsu organizational patterns. Japan's small and medium-sized firms did not develop only in the shadow of the keiretsu, but rather grew out of collective self-reflection and self-determinism that persisted, and indeed thrived in the late twenties century. Japanese producers of small and medium-sized firms have struggled to realize their interests by creating a specific social system. The identities of producers of small and medium-sized firms also have deployed along the development of regional system and local pride.

FK506 hyper-yielding mutant, called the TCM8594 strain, was made from Streptomyces tsukubaensis NRRL 18488 by mutagenesis using N-methyl-N`-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine, ultraviolet irradiation, and FK506 sequential resistance selection. FK506 production by the TCM8594 strain improved 45.1-fold (505.4 μg/ mL) compared to that of S. tsukubaensis NRRL 18488 (11.2 μg/ mL). Among the five substrates, wheat bran was selected as the best solid substrate to produce optimum quantities of FK506 (382.7 μg/g substrate) under solid-state fermentation, and the process parameters affecting FK506 production were optimized. Maximum FK506 yield (897.4 μg/g substrate) was achieved by optimizing process parameters, such as wheat bran with 5 % (w/w) dextrin and yeast extract as additional nutrients, 70 % (v/w) initial solid substrate moisture content, initial medium pH of 7.2, 30 oC incubation temperature, inoculum level that was 10 % (v/w) of the cell mass equivalent, and a 10 day incubation. The results showed an overall 234 % increase in FK506 production after optimizing the process parameters.
Tutorial: Mobile Sinks in Distributed Sensor Environments

In this paper, we propose an analysis method for mobile sinks in distributed area sensor networks. We use an agent node to communicate with the mobile sink in distributed environments. With the designed strategy, the agent sensor node gathers the appropriate data from general sensor nodes and then sends them to the mobile sink. We study the relation between the agent sensor node and the operation strategy based on the purpose of the mission. Based on the movement property of the mobile sink, network configuration can be modified to adjust the role of the sensor nodes. We provide simulation results of the proposed agent-based scheme for performance evaluation.

While Community participation has been considered as an essential determinant in enhancing the level of quality of life (QOL), few have systemically tested the mediating impact of community participation between physical Environments, social Relationships, social conflicts, and QOL. Using the 2015 Korean’ Conflicts and Cooperation Survey, which is randomly sampled by gender, age, and regions, this research aims to analyzes the mediating effect of community participation between physical Environments, social Relationships, social conflicts, and QOL. The analysis results show that community participation plays a mediating role in increasing the level of QOL among many people with experiences with social conflict. The individuals’ satisfaction with their physical environment and interpersonal relationships directly affects their level of QOL, while their experiences of social conflict does not have an impact on the level of QOL. The findings of this study suggest that the activation of communities can offset negative experiences resulting from social conflicts and improve the level of QOL of individuals in the South Korean context. This research contributes to methodological and theoretical topics in the field of quality of life.
