A Novel Authenticated Group Key Distribution Scheme
( Run-hua Shi ),( Hong Zhong ),( Shun Zhang ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2016 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.10 No.2
In this paper, we present a novel authenticated group key distribution scheme for large and dynamic multicast groups without employing traditional symmetric and asymmetric cryptographic operations. The security of our scheme is mainly based on the basic theories for solving linear equations. In our scheme, a large group is divided into many subgroups, where each subgroup is managed by a subgroup key manager (SGKM) and a group key generation center (GKGC) further manages all SGKMs. The group key is generated by the GKGC and then propagated to all group members through the SGKMs, such that only authorized group members can recover the group key but unauthorized users cannot. In addition, all authorized group members can verify the authenticity of group keys by a public one-way function. The analysis results show that our scheme is secure and efficient, and especially it is very appropriate for secure multicast communications in large and dynamic client-server networks.

Guided by bioisosterism and pharmacokinetic parameters, we designed and synthesized a series of novel benzamide derivatives. Preliminary in vitro studies indicated that compounds 10b and 10j show significant inhibitory bioactivity in HepG2 cells (IC50 values of 0.12 and 0.13 μM, respectively). Compounds 10b and 10j induced the expression of HIF-1α protein and downstream target gene p21, and upregulated the expression of cleaved caspase-3 to promote tumor cells apoptosis.

In this study, two soybean genotypes, i.e., aluminum-tolerant Baxi 10 (BX10) and aluminumsensitive Bendi 2 (BD2), were used as plant materials and acidic red soil was used as growth medium. The soil layers from the inside to the outside of the root are: rhizospheric soil after washing (WRH), rhizospheric soil after brushing (BRH) and rhizospheric soil at two sides (SRH), respectively. The rhizosphere bacterial communities were analyzed by high-throughput sequencing of V4 hypervariable regions of 16S rRNA gene amplicons via Illumina MiSeq. The results of alpha diversity analysis showed that the BRH and SRH of BX10 were significantly lower in community richness than that of BD2, while the WRH exhibited no significant difference between BX10 and BD2. Among the three sampling compartments of the same soybean genotype, WRH had the lowest community richness and diversity while showing the highest coverage. Beta diversity analysis results displayed no significant difference for any compartment between the two genotypes, or among the three different sampling compartments for any same soybean genotype. However, the relative abundance of major bacterial taxa, specifically nitrogen-fixing and/or aluminum-tolerant bacteria, was significantly different in the compartments of the BRH and/or SRH at phylum and genus levels, indicating genotype-dependent variations in rhizosphere bacterial communities. Strikingly, as compared with BRH and SRH, the WRH within the same genotype (BX10 or BD2) always had an enrichment effect on rhizosphere bacteria associated with nitrogen fixation
ERTC Involved in HCC Growth and Metastasis through p53 and WNK1 Signaling Pathway
( Hua Li ),( Mi-jin Lee ),( Goung-ran Yu ),( Lan Liu ),( Xue-ji Han ),( Dae-ghon Kim ) 대한간학회 2016 춘·추계 학술대회 (KASL) Vol.2016 No.1
Aims: ERTC has been shown to be an important player in the regulation of centrosome/microtubule dynamics during mitosis and found to be deregulated in a variety of human malignancies. But, the functional role and signaling pathway of ERTC in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remains elucidative. Methods: ERTC mRNA and miR-1324 expression was confirmed by real-time PCR analysis in human liver sample. ERTC protein expression was investigated by immunoblotting analysis in HCC cell lines and HCC tissues. The ERTC expression was infected with adenovirus, or knockdown by a delivery with short hairpin RNA (shRNA) or treatment with the potential ERTC inhibitor KHS101 hydrochloride, in Huh7, HepG2, SH-J1 and Alexander cell lines; cells were analyzed for proliferation, migration, and invasion. Tumor metastasis by ERTC and WNK1 was tested in vivo mouse model. Moreover, signaling pathways involved in invasion and metastasis were analyzed by Western blot. Results: ERTC was abundantly expressed in HCC cell lines and HCC tissues compared with non-tumor HCC tissues. ERTC mRNA was positively correlated with the tumor size, worsening differentiation status, lack of fibrous capsule formation, microvessel invasion, intrahepatic metastasis, AFP level and advanced stage of HCC. Knockdown of ERTC in SH-J1 and Alexander cells suppressed migratory and invasive behavior as well as the expression of EMT related markers. Silencing ERTC enhanced p53 expression and decrease phosphorylation of WNK1 in SH-J1 and Alexander cells. The cells with knockdown of ERTC using target shRNA reduced tumor metastasis in a lung metastasis mouse model. Moreover, knockdown of WNK1 also inhibit tumorigenicity and metastatic ability were examined in an orthotopic animal model. miR-1324 interacted with the 3’ untranslated region (3’ UTR) of ERTC. Levels of miR-1324 were correlated inversely with ERTC mRNA and in human HCC samples. Conclusions: Therefore, ERTC may be involved in HCC growth and metastasis through p53 and WNK1 signaling pathway, which may be useful therapeutic targets.
Effects of roasting on composition of chili seed and storage stability of chili seed oil
Run-Yang Zhang,Hua-Min Liu,Yu-Xiang Ma,Xue-De Wang 한국식품과학회 2019 Food Science and Biotechnology Vol.28 No.5
This work focused on how roasting changed the chemical components of chili (Capsicum annuum L.) seeds and how it affected the stability of chili seed oils during storage. The oils from chili seeds before and after roasting treatments were stored at 63 °C for 30 days and then analyzed. Results showed that roasting changed the main sugars compositions and amino acid compositions (total content decreased from 15.9 to 7.4%), which confirmed that it could form brown pigments and volatile flavor compounds in pepper seeds after roasting. Compared with oil from unroasted seeds, oils from roasted seeds had greater oxidative stability and maintained greater antioxidant capacity during storage. These effects were possibly due to the synergistic of the neo-formed products by Maillard reaction, vitamin E, and other bioactive components. This investigation showed that roasting treatment could be considered as an appropriate method for extending the storage stability of chili seed oils.
Identification of ‘Chunpoong’ among Panax ginseng Cultivars Using Real Time PCR and SNP Marker
Hua Sun,Ok Ran Lee,Yu-Jin Kim,Seok-Kyu Jeong,Jun-Gyo In,Woo-Saeng Kwon,Se-Young Kim,Deok-Chun Yang 고려인삼학회 2010 Journal of Ginseng Research Vol.34 No.1
The common DNA extraction methods are indispensable for genotyping by molecular marker analysis. However, genotyping a large number of plants is painstaking. A modified ‘NaOH-Tris’ method used in this study reduces the extraction time while keeping the cost low and avoiding the use of hazardous chemicals. The endpoint analysis by realtime PCR tends to be fast and effective for the development of SNP markers linked to the ‘Chunpoong’ cultivar of Panax ginseng. The ‘Chunpoong’ marker was developed by a major latex-like protein gene sequence. From our results, we suggest that this method is successful in distinguishing ‘Chunpoong’ from a large number of ginseng cultivars.
Preparation of bioactive nano-hydroxyapatite coating for artificial cornea
Run-Rong Lin,Xuan Mao,Qi-Cong Yu,Bai-Hua Tan 한국물리학회 2007 Current Applied Physics Vol.7 No.s1
Bioactive coatings containing hydroxyapatite(HA) nano crystals were prepared on PHEMA membrane by a sol dipping method.A cellcoating and the aggregation degree of HA particles inuence the adhesion of the cornea broblasts to the membrane, which dependsdramatically on the weight ratio between the nano-HA and the dispersant. The optimal condition of the coating preparation is with adispersant/HA = 1.25 weight ratio. The PHEMA membrane covered with nano-HA coating is promising for articial cornea use.
Poly(vinylidene fluoride)/Plasma-Treated BaTiO3 Nanocomposites with Enhanced Electroactive Phase
Ran Ding,Lei Gong,Ming-ming Li,Shu-hua Chen,Shi-ping Zhan,Xu-dong Sun,Cheng Zhang,Tao Shao 한국고분자학회 2018 Macromolecular Research Vol.26 No.11
Functional C=O and C-O groups are successfully fixated onto the surface of a high dielectric constant material barium titanate (BaTiO3) via non-thermal plasma. The strong dipole interaction exists between these functional groups and CH2 or CF2 groups of poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF), resulting in the enhancement of the electroactive γ-phase of PVDF/BaTiO3 nanocomposites on one hand; on the other hand the dispersion of BaTiO3 is enhanced in the PVDF matrix, where the smaller spherulite size and better hydrophilic property are observed in the PVDF/plasmatreated BaTiO3 nanocomposite, comparing with the untreated ones. Therefore, the PVDF/plasma-treated BaTiO3 nanoparticles exhibited higher dielectric constant and lower dielectric loss than the PVDF/BaTiO3 nanoparticles.
