A Link Between Integral and Higher-Order Integral of SPN Ciphers

Integral cryptanalysis, which is based on the existence of (higher-order) integral distinguishers, is a powerful cryptographic method that can be used to evaluate the security of modern block ciphers. In this paper, we focus on substitution-permutation network (SPN) ciphers and propose a criterion to characterize how an r-round integral distinguisher can be extended to an (r+1)-round higher-order integral distinguisher. This criterion, which builds a link between integrals and higher-order integrals of SPN ciphers, is in fact based on the theory of direct decomposition of a linear space defined by the linear mapping of the cipher. It can be directly utilized to unify the procedure for finding 4-round higher-order integral distinguishers of AES and ARIA and can be further extended to analyze higher-order integral distinguishers of various block cipher structures. We hope that the criterion presented in this paper will benefit the cryptanalysts and may thus lead to better cryptanalytic results.
Plastic depth and load-bearing capacity of autofrettaged cylinders

Autofrettage technology is usually adopted to even out and reduce stresses as well as improve the load-bearing capacity of a variety of cylindrical ultra-high mechanical apparatuses. The autofrettage of cylinders is theoretically investigated based on maximum shear stress theory or the Tresca criterion to establish the general law for autofrettage theory. The equation for the optimum plastic depth for a certain load and radius ratio is derived to ensure that the equivalent stress of the total stress does not exceed the yield limit and the absolute value of the equivalent stress of the residual stress at the internal surface likewise does not exceed the yield limit. Through this equation, a set of concise equations for total stress and residual stresses are obtained. The safe and optimum load-bearing conditions for cylinders are presented. Results show that, provided the pressure contained in a cylinder is equal to the autofrettage pressure, irrespective of k j , the equivalent total stress, s e , equals the yield limit everywhere in the entire plastic zone, that is, s e is a constant. In the elastic zone, s e is always lower than the yield limit, but if k j is outside the quasi-infinite area enclosed by the curves of the sense and possible plastic depth, then either compressive yield occurs or k j is meaningless. The results based on the Mises criterion and Tresca criteria are compared.
Hot Topic Discovery across Social Networks Based on Improved LDA Model

With the rapid development of Internet and big data technology, various online social network platforms have been established, producing massive information every day. Hot topic discovery aims to dig out meaningful content that users commonly concern about from the massive information on the Internet. Most of the existing hot topic discovery methods focus on a single network data source, and can hardly grasp hot spots as a whole, nor meet the challenges of text sparsity and topic hotness evaluation in cross-network scenarios. This paper proposes a novel hot topic discovery method across social network based on an im-proved LDA model, which first integrates the text information from multiple social network platforms into a unified data set, then obtains the potential topic distribution in the text through the improved LDA model. Finally, it adopts a heat evaluation method based on the word frequency of topic label words to take the latent topic with the highest heat value as a hot topic. This paper obtains data from the online social networks and constructs a cross-network topic discovery data set. The experimental results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method compared to baseline methods.
ELECTROCHEMICAL Co 3 O 4 NANOPOROUS THIN FILMS SENSOR FOR HYDROGEN PEROXIDE DETECTION

The nanoporous Co 3 O 4 thin ¯lms were prepared on indium tin oxide (ITO) glasses by anelectrodeposition method. The surface morphology and composition of the nanoporous Co 3 O 4¯lms were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive X-rayanalysis (EDS) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The results show that the as-deposited nanoporous Co 3 O 4 ¯lm is constructed by many interconnected nano°akes withthickness of about 40 nm. The cyclic voltammetry (CV) measurement indicates that thenanoporous Co 3 O 4 ¯lms exhibit remarkable electrocatalytic activities for the hydrogen peroxide(H 2 O 2 ) reduction which shows that it is a good candidate to be employed as electrode materialsfor electrochemical sensing of H 2 O 2 . Further analysis indicated that the detection sensitivityof the sensor was 1.357 mA mM? 1 cm? 2 and the detection limit was estimated to be about0.2 mM.

본 연구는 정확한 단차부여가 가능한 전자뇌관을 사용하여, 모델링을 통한 진동예측과 실제 발파진동의 결과를 상호 비교함으로써 발파 작업 시 발생하는 진동을 예측하고 설계에 반영할 수 있는지의 가능성을 연구하였다. 모델링의 회귀분석 결과와 실제 획득한 진동 데이터의 회귀분석 결과를 비교하여 볼 때 유사성이 있는것으로 확인되었고, 따라서 다양한 조건에서의 진동 추정이 보다 정밀성을 가질 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. This study is using electronic-delay system detonator which can input an accurate detonating delay, compare predicted blasting vibration level derived from vibration 3D modelling with real measured blasting vibrations, and then considered modelling results are able to apply blast design. It confirmed there are certain relations between modelling and real vibration data, so modelling prediction method also can be apply design various blast conditions and prediction equation of blast vibration.
Effects of Temperature and Additives on the Thermal Stability of Glucoamylase from Aspergillus niger

GAM-1 and GAM-2, two themostable glucoamylases from Aspergillus niger B-30, possess different molecular masses, glycosylation, and thermal stability. In the present study, the effects of additives on the thermal inactivation of GAM-1 and GAM-2 were investigated. The half-lives of GAM-1 and GAM-2 at 70ºC were 45 and 216 min, respectively. Data obtained from fluorescence spectroscopy, circular dichroism spectroscopy, UV absorption spectroscopy, and dynamic light scattering demonstrated that during the thermal inactivation progress, combined with the loss of the helical structure and a majority of the tertiary structure, tryptophan residues were partially exposed and further led to glucoamylases aggregating. The thermal stability of GAM-1 and GAM-2 was largely improved in the presence of sorbitol and trehalose. Results from spectroscopy and Native-PAGE confirmed that sorbitol and trehalose maintained the native state of glucoamylases and prevented their thermal aggregation. The loss of hydrophobic bonding and helical structure was responsible for the decrease of glucoamylase activity. Additionally, sorbitol and trehalose significantly increased the substrate affinity and catalytic efficiency of the two glucoamylases. Our results display an insight into the thermal inactivation of glucoamylases and provide an important base for industrial applications of the thermally stable glucoamylases.

Objective: This study aims to examine the parallel multiple mediators of depressive symptoms and sleep quality in the relations between stress and physical health-related quality of life (PHQOL)/mental health-related quality of life (MHQOL) among the women in late pregnancy. Methods: Of 1120 pregnant women participated in the cross-sectional study which consisted of Perceived Stress Scale, Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index and MOS 12-item Short Form Health Survey. Parallel multiple mediator models were used to analyze the relations between stress, depressive symptoms, sleep quality and PHQOL/MHQOL. Results: The effect of perceived stress on PHQOL was partially through the indirect path of sleep quality (β=-0.061). But in the model for MHQOL, depressive symptoms and sleep quality played parallel mediators, and the indirect path effect of depressive symptoms (β=-0.179) was higher than sleep quality (β=-0.029). Conclusion: The findings contributed to the understanding about the influential mechanism of stress on PHQOL/MHQOL. And it reminded the importance of sleep quality and depressive symptoms for improving QOL in late pregnancy.
